Lamachune very burnt and kebab on chips hardly any meat also had to wait two hours for delivery and there was lumps of fat through the kebab and the house sauce tasted like toothpaste very minty

it was not to my taste * burnt meat * small portion for a large meal * expensive price for the order Unfortunately 1*

The food is great. Properly made. Kebabs are excellent - had my first trabzon style Turkish pizza tonight - excellent! Super tasty toppings and really light pillowy bread. Will definitely get again.

Ordered 4 kebabs last Saturday evening. Was told it would be 45 minutes. Arrived at shop 45 minutes later - very busy - waited for over an hour to get food. Only received 3 kebabs. None of them were what we ordered - and the quality was very mediocre. Phoned and was told they wouldn’t be able to redo the order but that I could return the following night for a replacement order. I said I would prefer to have the replacement on Thursday or Friday. Told this would be fine and that a copy of the order had been noted down. Phoned on Thursday. Told that the owner wasn’t there and that they couldn’t give a free replacement. Then started talking about having to look at video footage to see what order had gone out!! Phoned again this evening (Friday) and spoke to owner who said that there was no way he was giving out free food. Wouldn’t listen to what my complaint was - said the guy I was talking to had left! Owner had no interest in what my experience was. Told me to come to the shop to discuss it and he would give a discount. Started talking about McDonalds and Boojum and then hung up!! Really disappointed as the photos of the food look good - and seem to get some good reviews. Unfortunately we didn’t get to experience it - and won’t unless they read this and offer us what we were told we would get. If you’re happy to eat what they have left over on a busy night rather than what you ordered - work away!

Sublime, fresh ingredients made in front of you including the bread. You will never look at Kebabs the same way again. Extremely friendly staff and owner. Food tasting samples offered at counter. Turkish pizza sampled!! Do your taste buds a favour - treat night yourself here. I traveled nearly 20 miles to try it, and would do it again with hesitation.

Ordered a steak and lamb kebab at 7.30 for collection at 8.10pm. Arrived on time and stood for 45 minutes waiting in the shop, checked in multiple times with them only to say it wouldn’t be long, then 45 mins later told they now had no steak or lamb and they could offer chicken but it would be another wait. This is at 8.55pm. Almost 1 hour and left with no food, terrible communication and this happened multiple people. Left without any food. Avoid

It might not look like much at first glance but the focus is on the food. With a lot of fresh ingredients and a very involved and passionate cook, the end result is an unexpected 5/5 (for us). And when the owner/cook has time, he's fun to talk to as well!

Needs updating the seating etc. A bit pricey too.

The food was that good that I shared all of it with the toilet this morning.

I've been waiting to try this spot for a while, and it did not disappoint. I got chicken durum and a slice of focaccia. Unlike most other kebab shops in Belfast, the meat is fresh and high quality. Not rubbery meat that's been frozen and defrosted. And the portions were huge! I used a plastic fork and the tray for size comparison in photos. I would also like to praise the service from Alberp (if my spelling is correct). He goes out of his way for his customers. He even heated up the focaccia. I'll definitely be back!

Decent kebab. Good service. However, the shop needs a deep clean. I've been going here for a while, and the food is always decent. Your paying city centre prices. 13 quid for a big kebab. No kids menu!

The kebabs here are amazing! The best kebabs in Belfast! My wife and I love going there! Everything is homemade, and the wrap just melts in your mouth! The desserts are also to die for!

Returned after a few years as I was passing by this was the first place I could think of to eat something good in Northern Ireland. Best service and food. Thank you!

The best ! Always ! Order the first time online and the food took ages to arrive. Call the restaurant very very nice gentleman on the phone trying to find out where my food was. I was getting upset coz I know is not that far ! Anyways food arrived and it was AMAZING . So I phone back the restaurant and said I’m sorry but it was worth the wait . Today went for a collection and again amazing . No chance in beating this kebab !! This guy is working alone and is busy but he is coping so calmly and so organised and nobody wait more than 10 min ! Is just the best kebab ever and the gentleman is just a true gent . P.S you forgot my bread this time ;)

Absolutely love this place. Gets better and better. Amazing kebabs. The chicken doner and the lamb and beef doner are both amazing and absolutely huge! Best in Northern Ireland no doubt. They do the best baklava as well.

Called in about 4.30 Friday with my daughter on way to see The Cure in SSE as most of the sit in restaurants didn’t open until 5pm. We both had the chicken wrap kebabs and we thought they we class..massive and some eating in them.. we got to Turkey regularly and these we completely up to standard i can tell you. The owner very friendly man had a good chat with him. Will be back and would recommend. Only a few tables but it is street food after all . Also saved a fortune by eating there, two huge kebabs two drinks 20 quid not bad.

This was my first time and can safely say it won't be my last. As a person that doesn't like kebab-style food, I'm glad I listened to the recommendations. The Durum was amazing. You could taste the freshness and the flavours were perfectly matched. Highly recommended 👌

I've had the chicken kebab a few times now and really enjoy it. I think I've had all possible combinations but like it best on salad with a few chips. The chicken is beautifully cooked and seasoned. Got some meze this time and they too were really tasty and the baklava is excellent. If you've a big appetite go for the in bread versions as you get a bit of everything just too much eating for me.

This place is the "proper* kebab place,I've been a few times and i was waiting for a bus and he kindly made my kebab 1st , will never stop getting from here ,so good x

Been on a quest to find a kebab like I used to get in England but the quality of doner meat in NI seems to be the same old slimy, foul tasting stuff in most of the kebab shops. Now I didn't have doner here, but we did go for the Chicken Durum Wrap. It is HUGE and for sure the best chicken kebab I have had in Northern Ireland - much better than the Sphinx kebabs. 10/10! They do Chicken midweek with lamb and steak mix at the weekend. I will be back to do this soon.

The best Turkish food I have had in Northern Ireland by a clear country mile. I’d mark it 11 out of 10. Great portions, everything home made, including the bread and all the meats. Nothing processed at all. Alper, the owner, was so helpful and accommodating. We came because of the reviews on Google and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back. After five years of trying to find decent Turkish food in NI, I’d say this is as good as anything I’ve had in my 30+ Years in England before coming home. Fantastic!

My husband has wanted to try this takeaway for ages, we decided to drive to Belfast for a kebab, we got the menu but didn't understand it so they told us Sundays are lamb and steak together we decided to go for 1 on chips and the other on a homemade pitta bread. When we opened the kebabs the pitta bread was massive but a weird taste, I wanted to like the chips but they weren't nice. We ate a good bit of the kebabs they were very bland, we wouldn't rush back...

I really wanted to be able to write a positive review for this restaurant, however that’s not going to happen and this is why… First of all the photos on their website do not match this restaurant, I am not sure if they took it from another business or simple embellished them, either way they don’t belong to this business and it was because of the photos that we decided to go. We were visiting Belfast and wanted to try something a little different so like I mentioned, after reading reviews and looking through their website we decided to go. We took a taxi to their location and when we arrived we realized right away that this was a hole in the wall restaurant which is not necessarily a bad thing. Some of the best food we have had around the world have come from little hole in the wall restaurants. We entered and saw about 4 tables, the waitress came over and told us that they were only serving one thing, chicken!! There was no other choice but chicken! Let me also mention that this place closes on a Monday and Tuesday and they don’t open until 4pm. Don’t waste your time with this place, how they can stay in business way beyond me.

Got the mixed kebab - £13 absolutely massive kebab. Meat is the best I have ever experienced in a kebab - lamb succulent and charcoaled full of flavour, chicken texture was soft, full of flavour and succulent. Durum bread soft and satisfying - salad and sauce fresh crunchy and full of flavour. Best kebab I have ever had hands down. Worth every penny, well done Alfur - gentleman very polite and kind smile, great service.

Was OK after hearing rave reviews. Food was not cooked fresh but taken out of a container and I heard a microwave ding when he was making it. Price was very dear also, £13 for a large kebab which was nothing special and defo not worth it. Don't think I'll rush back in a hurry 😤

Came here for the first time with some Turkish friends after having heard many good recommendations. The food was excellent especially the mixed kebab. There are a few tables for sitting at inside. Staff were friendly.

Steak kebab was ok but house sauce ruined it

I had read a few reviews of this place and also heard a number of people talking this place up,so thought I would try it for myself.Wasnt really sure what to order but the man I spoke with was more than helpful-I presume he was the owner.I opted for a Berliner-the bread was fresh,the chicken was chargrilled but still moist,the salad was crunchy and fresh and the chilli sauce was tasty but not too hot. I cant imagine there are many better kebabs in Belfast. Good value too. I'll be back!

First time we ordered must say absolutely the best! Long strips of kebab meat. Ordered a 2nd time and was a bit disappointed. Seems we got the scraps of the meat. Gave it the benefit of the doubt and ordered a 3rd time. So very, very, very disappointed . Ordered kebab on chips again and again got the hard scraps bits of meat which were very fatty. Far to many chips and salad and very little meat. Seems if it’s a 1st order they make it amazing with long strips of kabab meat so that you order again. Won’t be ordering again. Will go back to my previous kebab shop, at least they’re consistent with their kebabs. Feel so cheated. 😢😢😢

One of the nicest places in Belfast to eat in my opinion. It's incredibly well cooked and seasoned. The ingredients are fresh and delicious. The portions are very generous and it's great value.

What a place! I haven't had such a great kebab since I visited Berlin! The portions were huge, the meat was succulent and the sweet was freshly baked! The owner was friendly, quick and cheerful. Totally recommended!

You can tell everything is homemade by a top quality chef who know their craft. The owner sells out every night and is a true gentleman. If you arrive at the restaurant and the owner is running low on stock, he will do his best to make sure no one leaves hungry. He puts his heart and soul into his food and it really shows. Hands down the best kebab that Northern Ireland has to offer!! Highly recommend - could easily eat here every single week as the kebabs are always changing. Have only ever been disappointed when they have sold out before we've managed to drive up! 😞 Lol Baklava is also amazing!! Best I have ever had! Happily do the 40 mile round trip just to eat here! Myself and a friend drove here after reading the lovely reviews and the information about the restaurant on google. It is listed as having vegetarian ans vegan food. There were menus shown with a huge list of vegetarian and vegan mezzes. If you are vegan or vegetarian I do not recommend here. They have changed their menu and on offer was chips, flat bread, a yogurt dip, an aubergine type dip (it sounded like baba ganoush) and a red pepper dip. These were in quite small tubs in the chilled food counter. When I asked I was told the menu had changed and I should have checked social media. All 3 dips looked nice but do not constitute a meal. Especially when put against the huge meat options. I was very disappointed by the attitude of the person I spoke to. I am a huge champion of anywhere doing good veggie food and I love Turkish food. I guess I just won't be able to get it from here.

I’d say it’s really tasty.we were surprised by the huge bread. With so many freshly grilled mixed meats in it,we ate so full and satisfied.The owner treated with the utmost courtesy to us,so we all had a very good experience yesterday. Besides,the prices is perfect considering the huge portion. Really recommend to all of you.It would be better to consider take away if you are hurry or just drop by because it’s very convenient to package.

An easy five stars. I have eaten many kebabs over the years as my doctor will testify, and this place in incredible. Heard the owner was from bruxelles...one of the best places in the world for food - it shows hereunder. Tender meat, all fresh, the price was incredibly low, you have got to try here. The portions are serious. And the owner is a great friendly guy too. Knocks the sphinx off top spot even. Can't wait to go back.

Have been going to Turkey Street Food on a frequent basis from the turn of Lockdown. Alper is a great personality who’s passion is seen throughout the love and great care after your first bite of one of his kebabs! I think I have found Jesus! Food is that good, my brothers and I travel from Newcastle numerous times per month to taste the experience provided by Alper at Turkey Street Food. 10/10, Highly, Highly Recommend.

This place is highly under rated. Gigantic portion size at rip off price but delicious taste. The owner is extremely hard-working. He prepares everything from scratch including bread and tender meat marinate.
