Tung Tung in South Lanarkshire

Ordered 2 mains at 7:10pm on a Saturday night. Appreciate its busy so happy to accept the expected delivery time of up to an hour. Given we are a 2 min drive away we were a bit disappointed when 1 hour and 15 mins we still did not have our food. Chased the order. Another 45 mins. For 2 wok cooked dishes (probably takes 3 mins each cooking time) In short 2 hours for 2 dishes for a 2 min drive is shocking. Easy money. Food cold and average at best. Will be going elsewhere n future.

This chinese take-away should be avoided..it is VERY expensive for low end food..Do not order from this. I had my last takeaway this evening and NEVER AGAIN..it's awful and overpriced. !!!. thanks

Great Chinese takeaway. Big portions and best in area by far. Avoid salt and chilli chips though . Best phoning ahead at weekend with order to avoid length waits.

Tung Tung is a lower price take away nothing fancy, but has reasonable food and large portions. It’s great for a quick meal. Biggest problem is cash payment only no credit cards accepted. Not my favourite carry out but still good value.

Don't judge a book by its cover. Whilst this take away like many others may look tired in need of freshening up and perhaps not the cleanest, it's food is outstanding! If the above puts you off just opt for the delivery!

I stay in the same street as where this take away is and the food is amazing. The portion of 1 meal feeds 2. So with the portion size and quality of food it's the best I have had. Would highly recommend. Only bad thing is it's not on just eat.

The best chicken breast curry in the universe. Even better when getting it extra spicy. My girls love the Chow Mein and sweet and sour chicken balls. Fairly cheap as well.

Great food and all made fresh and quickly. Must say about the spring rolls though, we thought the batter quite thick and not the thinner outer we have been used to elsewhere. Reasonably priced and great tasting food. Would recommend you give it a try!

Great takeaway never been disappointed. The food is cooked to perfection and keeps me coming back for more. My favourite dish is chicken curry boiled rice.

Every weekend we always finish of with a wee Chinese, we've probably probably tried every Chinese in Glasgow, haha ! 😂 And this one is our favourite, Would definitely recommend it if your having a wee trip in Glasgow and ur in the mood for a wee take- away 🇬🇧💙

Probably the best Chinese I've tried to date,ordered 2 chicken curries chilli and normal chips and the Peking ribs which came boneless in a type of batter with onions and peppers which were pleasantly different from ones I've had before,highly recommended.

My fav Chinese Take away shut several months ago and since then I've been searching for somewhere that does a decent curry and a satay. Well, I think I've found that place. The curry sauce has a lovely smooth texture and a sweetness that makes it a little bit different. Their Satay is good, better than a lot of other places but could still do with being nuttier and a bit spicier. Just a little tweaking. We've tried a few other dishes as well and they do a nice crispy duck. All the dishes get pass marks or above and the curry gets an A+. The only downside is that it's quite expensive. Main dishes are in the region of £6 not including rice or chips which bumps the price up by a bit. Starting to get towards restaurant prices. But the food is good. So yes, I would recommend this place. Your tounge won't find anything distasteful at the Tung Tung.
