Tung Sun in Belfast

Order cancelled due to length of time for delivery, inefficient and unhelpful staff there are many other restaurants and takeaways in this area I would highly recommend you choose any of them above this I'm confident that you won't be disappointed

Husband came home with our take away I just ordered boiled rice,curry sauce and chips he had a gravy 1/2 and 1/2. (Which was wrong) but more concerning was the hair in my food which I nearly chocked on..absolutely disgusting.. rang straight away and straight away the girl on the phone informed me she knew our order was wrong and would change it I told her I was annoyed at the order being wrong but my issue was the hair in my food the woman got very aggressive and kept informing me we wear hair nets and then she literally started to shout at me practically calling me a liar then she offered me a tour around the kitchen which I politely declined I asked for a refund which I didn’t get...no dinner tonight no refund a joke.

A family favourite that is always prompt with delivereies and the quality of the food is most satisfying and enjoyable which is why we go back again and again.

Excellent........ the only chinese iv found which does the nice thick gravy, will be ordering again ... Food top class !

Got special fried rice. The egg on top was burnt black. The meat through the rice was burnt black and there was next to no sauce. Hopefully it was just a 1 of as the food is normally delicious

The chicken wings were red and the schezwan chicken was disguisting.. i dunno why this place has good reviews it was all rotten and a waste of money!

My meal was very tasty however I ordered chicken with cashew nuts and there were no nuts. I was very disappointed but did not have time to reorder as i was going out.

Didn't receive my delivery. When I spoke to the restaurant they were extremely unhelpful.

A bit disappointed with the quality of food this time. It used to be my favourite place for curry and with over 20 orders I would expect something more... Not sure if it's a different cook or ingredients, but I've got a feeling that quality is better when ordering in person too!

the food was piping hot, and sitting waiting for me on collection. Not the best I've had. Lots of beef in the beef and oyster sauce but it was just very liquidity.

salted chilli ribs were cheap cuts of ribs with hardly any meat any time I order them they definitely need to go to a different supplier and drain the grease after they cook the ribs

Honey chilli chicken was bland, couldn't taste honey or chilli. Chicken had a batter that was soggy and tasteless.

DO NOT ORDER A CHINESE ROAST PORK CHOWMEIN IF YOU ARE EXPECTING NOODLES WITH IT. You get a tub full of vegetables & you should know better apparently to order no vegetables to get enough noodles, is what the Chinese said.

Chicken fried rice was lovely! Love how it had bits of ham in it! Delivery was spot on!

Took well over an hour to come, when delivered the chips tasted like they were reheated in a microwave the rice was half boiled half fried and the gravy was so thick! Will not be ordering from here again.

Horrible oily food. My dogs wouldn't even eat it. Such a shame. You used to be nice.

Rang to say only one sauce could be with m1 when there was and option to add extra sweet and sour sauce which cost an extra 30p. When asked for both they said no and I had to pick one to go over the meal. I chose one and when ask can I have my 30p back they became aggressive towards another member of staff and myself. They said I have to take it up with just eat. I don't really care about 30p but I thought they way they handle it was very rude. Poor show

Charging for onions and peas is unnecessary as most places have veg in curry as standard curry was lovely though ribs wer tiny

Awesome as always...just a little bit cold. Not usually, but was tonight.

After waiting over an hour for my delivery, i called tung sun to check on the order. I understand its a saturday and its busy, but what has annoyed me is the woman who answered the phone was condescending and patronised me about how "thats how just-eat machines work, they take an hour to process and i only recieved it an hour after you ordered it so it will be basically another 45 minutes." I was gobsmacked that she was so rude about it, and that she was lying to me. I have worked with those just-eat machines before and she is full of bulllllll.... Not pleased with the 2 hour wait, especially considering it is around the corner.

Who delivers warm coke, soggy chicken and reheated chips. So disappointed!!

Tung Sun always has amazing food - hands down the best Chinese in the BT7 area. Service is always excellent too.

Ordered on NiftyNosh (now Just-Eat). Delivery was prompt and food itself was delicious - I've tried a few different chineses and this is now my favourite.

Highly recommended. Food was off top quality it has to be the nicest gravy I've ever tasted. Delivery driver was also very nice and helpful. I can't wait to order food from Tung sun again

Quality food that i would highly recommend and I have ate food in restaurants all over the world. The prices where very reasonable and they had a very good service you would be very silly not to order from Tung Sun. If there was a thumbs up rating I would off give it 5 out 5 with no thought what so ever that's how nice the food was.

It was a dreary Thursday evening, miserable weather and we were uninspired to cook. So,looking for a bit of comfort food we decided to try a takeaway that we'd eaten from many years ago but remembered fondly. Tung Sun has a good old fashioned 'traditional' takeaway menu which we thought might hit the spot. With so many takeaways trying to be adventurous with flavours but failing we thought this could be a pleasant change. Sadly it was a bit of a shocker. I was delighted to find a 'char sui chop suey' but the char sui was bland and the sauce was a disturbing red colour and tasted of absolutely nothing at all. Really, nothing at all. My mate was looking forward to the chicken breast curry but it was simply chunks of chicken and onion slathered in a regular Chinese curry sauce - not apalling but he'd been looking forward to a pea or two at least to break it up. My other guest had the chicken with bamboo shoots and water chestnuts, which should be a light delight, but no. Chewy chicken and again, for a meal that is not the most piquant choice, really tasted of nothing at all. In a way it's hard to describe this experience. We were looking for old fashioned takeaway but it never really tasted this bland, did it. Surely not....?
