The Beijing Restaurant in Belfast

1 hour & 30 minutes for delivery that said 30 minutes on the app. When phoned the woman that answered the phone was very rude, said 10 minutes & hung up. Ended up waiting another 30 minutes, delivery driver was very apologetic.

Fried rice was slightly overdone resulting in a burnt taste throughout the whole meal

Can of Coke Zero was out of date and I couldn’t drink it. Rice was badly cooked and was hard.

This food is disguting !!!!!! Chips are soggy and the chicken isn’t even eatable !!!!

Food was really hot but the chow mein was dry and the curry half and half didn’t have enough curry sauce.

Gave me the wrong chips and sent my order knowing they were closing soon. Disappointed

We have been going here for years. Owner is so friendly and accommadating. All food cooked fresh to order. Must try Salted chilli squid. Hot and sour soup Satay skewers Singapore fried rice Malaysian curry All very tasty xxx

I don't understand how anyone could give this place a bad review I have been many times with family members and friends not only that but many of the people I take go back can't belive quality and as for price I personally think 12.99 for all you can eat is far to cheap absolutely brilliant place

I asked for 2 king prawn fried rice but there’s no prawn in this but some other type of meat

Got a delivery this evening. Shredded honey chilli chicken absolutely disgusting. Looked like congealed mush. Every single piece of chicken was covered in some sort of slimy jelly! Will not be ordering again. Whole order cost £27.00 and not as much as a prawn craker!!! Really disappointed.

Actually the worst Chinese I’ve had. Food was soggy due to be late but it also was just tasteless and not nice ended up hardly eating it it was that bad. Definitely won’t be ordering again.

Unfortunately I cannot select that the food was never actually delivered, I contacted the Beijing Chinese Restaurant to explain that no food had actually arrived when the app said it was apparently "delievred" - they just hung up on me. Absolutely awful service!

Absolutely awful avoid this Chinese at all costs far overpriced, the beef in black pepper sauce was full of onions carrots green peppers and other vegetables it was almost a vegetarian meal but for a couple of measly bits of beef. £15 down the drain just awful

Driver was completely lost and spent 25 minutes driving around North Belfast instead of delivering to city centre. My address was less that 1 mile from the restaurant

We had to ask for sauce instead of there being a button to choose and the rice was way overdone, although apart from that it was nice.

Food was disgusting, got the Thai curry, big lumps of pure paste and all I could taste was salt. Waste of money, all went in the bin.

It wasn't delivered, estimated delivery 17:50 to 18:10, now 18:23pm, shocking service. Refund immediately please.

Normally I would be giving high star and saying how great this place is but tonight I have got food that was not very nice and items that was wrong although when I called them they did replace the items that was wrong.

Delivery guy seemed friendly enough. The food wasn't great. I really don't like to give bad reviews and I don't like food going to waste but I couldn't eat it. The food was inedible. The salted chilli chicken was tough and very bland, like it wasn't seasoned at all. The curry looked like it was made with mostly lard and didn't taste great. There was no other flavour in the meal than just pure salt. Salt isn't a replacement for good seasoning. Also I asked for curry over the salted chilli chips and didnt get that. I'm sorry but it was unpleasant.

Great food but delivery team were a bit suspect, 3 people in a car and the front passenger was adamant that he knew me - not sure how as I’m visiting from England, made me uncomfortable to have delivery passengers hanging out of the windy being adamant that they knew me. Food was great but won’t be ordering again due to the drivers accomplices.

Horrible do not get the honey chilli chicken it was like gloop plus an hour late not happy 😕

Won’t be ordering from here again, tried phoning multiple times to check something nobody answered despite the line being engaged on a few occasions. I ordered two meals, the rice and the chicken balls were the only acceptable parts. The honey chilli chicken was soggy and the sauce was watery and the curry sauce was pale, coagulated and tasteless. Extremely disappointed

Extremely fast delivery and very good food!

My order was quite cold. I ordered honey chilli chicken the bread crumbs on the chicken soaked was terrible.

Just abysmal, over an hour late, no communication from restaurant. Had to call 6 times before someone answered and their customer service skills left something to be desired. Will not be getting my trade again

Waited over 1 hour for the food. Called restaurant and no one spoke English kept repeating “on the way” as if mocking me. Next girl repeated “we busy”. Service atrocious. Food arrived, rice and chips fine, beef was pink and did not taste flavoured or nice.

Not sure what kind of circus these people are running but definitely do NOT recommend this place!!! Over an hour and a half late for delivery, food was cold and soggy on arrival, it had been cooked well before leaving the shop as the paper bags which the food was wrapped in was wet and falling apart. Having been down to the shop in person after an hours wait as I could not get through on the phone line having rang them 5 times to see where my order was, I was informed by some woman that they were 'very busy'. Having left the shop which i may add is being fulfilled by Tings Garden next door to Beijing restaurant, my order arrived and like I said was cold and soggy. Not impressed so I hand delivered the Chinese back again to the store demanding a full refund to then be told that I needed to contact just eat as she could not provide me with my £20 that was spent on the order. Note to one self, and others, do not be ordering from this place, its certainly not worth the money, the hassle or waiting for freezing cold, poor quality food...if that's what you'd even call it!!! Id give 0 stars if it was possible.

I put an order in at 18.59 hrs, I was told delivery around 19.45 and at 20.33 hrs still waiting !!!! Just eat app says food has been deliver ?? Tried calling restaurant no answer and have left several messages !!! I would like a refund please and I am never using restaurant again

Never in my life have I ever had or expected to be handed left over food from a Chinese takeaway. My partner was happy with her meal, no issues there. Myself! I ordered a special fried rice and got rice with an omelette in the same box dumped in together, looked like a dogs dinner but wouldn't have put the dog through that either. Meat chewed up and some kind of gel type substance all over it. Absolutely disgusted. COVID-19 pandemic and I get someone's left over food?? Driver clearly couldn't drive as it it took 45 minutes to drive 600 metres. Food was cold and slop. Wouldn't have fed it to pigs. Restaurant wouldn't pick up phone when I called to chase order. Avoid this place.

When the food is a half hour late you expect it to be cooked. The beef was still pink, the sauce was of a consistency I’ve never had before in a curry, nor would I like to again All in all this is an absolutely shameful Chinese takeaway and I would advise that it be avoided like the plague.

Disappointing. Szechuan sauce was nice which makes the fact that the non fresh, almost teeth cracking chicken to go with it even more disappointing. Won't order again. 2.5/10 (only because they were on time and sell beer).

Small portions, lack of sauce, lack of flavour. Chicken was burnt on the ends. Will not be ordering from here again. Definitely disappointed after what it cost, most ended up in the bin.

Food was nearly an hour late. Phoned the takeaway to enquire its whereabouts and the lady was no help. When the food finally made an appearance it was lukewarm. The food was really greasy and the Chicken Kung po basically inedible. First and last time ordering from here. Do yourself a favour and avoid.

Just eat said it was busy so stated it would take over 2 hours for delivery. I expected that so it was fine. It was actually delivered within one hour, so over an hour early. That's alright. Except the food was really poor. Chicken was really bland; no flavour to it, and really greasy. The chips and rice were clearly undercooked, badly. Really disappointing experience.

The food when it arrived was cold and needed reheating in the microwave. For the price of the meal the portions of chips and fried rice weren’t great and no free prawn crackers included like the usual Chinese takeaway restaurants would provide. The curry was salty and both meals could have done with a little more chicken. More veg in the satay would have been good too. Due to price paid quality and quantity I would not be ordering again.

Got food from here last week which was extremely mediocre and somewhat disappointing. We reluctantly ordered from here again as there was nowhere else available. Order was placed and accepted at 5pm for arrival at 7:30pm. By 8:30pm we still had no food and were all very hungry, then our order suddenly got cancelled with no further communication. Tried to contact the restaurant but no answer. DO NOT order from here! There is a very slim chance you will get your food on time, if you get it at all, and it will not be worth the wait.

Got a phone call from the restaurant to say the order needed to be collected as they had no delivery driver. Food wasn’t great but it was the only chinese available on Justeat.

First time ordering here and the food was beautiful. Will def order again. However there was no side dish with £8 duck main. It didn't have alot of duck in it either. The duck springs rolls were overpriced. Should have been a few more in there. Also no option on just eat to add a portion of chips as a side which was disappointing.

Food never delivered, tried calling restaurant multiple times but no answer. We ordered at 19:00 but it said it wouldn’t be here til 21:05, that’s already an absolutely ridiculous wait time for food and it’s now 22:30 and we’re absolutely starving. Have requested a refund but won’t be surprised if my boyfriend (an NHS worker) doesn’t get his money back. All we wanted was our dinner. :,(

Delivery time was great but food was terrible as I ordered the prawn dish but received a chicken meal which was under cooked with manky chips and meals came to over £30 and we didn't even get any prawn crackers,not a very good experience

Our delivery was very late order at 6pm , said food would be here for 8.05 so that was 2 hours then a further two hours late .. waiting for four hours on food is a joke and wouldn’t answer the phone .. disappointment by ten o’clock my kids where fast asleep waiting on the delivery so they never even got what they where promised won’t be ordering from here again .. if had of known was that busy wouldn’t have ordered it or at least not except the order

This place takes orders on just eat and takes over 4 hours to as yet not deliver. Shouldn't take orders if not prepared to deliver in an acceptable time frame. Won't ever use again. Please be wary of using if your not within close proximity.

Absolutely shambolic service....currently sitting at a 4hr wait from order....cant get to the restaurant.....I am currently waiting on Just Eat trying to retrieve a refund for me.

The food was pretty grim - impressively poorly cooked chips and greasy noodles :( the sauce was nice but aside from that Id get a microwave meal

Delivery took a long time but was within the stated time. Some food was stone cold, other parts were warm but not hot. Chips were flavourless, chicken was rubbery and not nice

Curry very watery/oily, chips under cooked. Really not the best. Also, when you order from the Beijing Restaurant you are not made awear that you collect from a different location (Tings Chinese) so ended up wasting time and energy trying to communicate with just eat. Finally when I found my order, it was cold.

Order was made from Beijing but was collected from Restaurant nxt door, Ting something. I have never had a meal as disgusting as this!

Ordered food at 8.20pm, once ordered processed estimated delivery time was 10.15pm (2 hours) and food arrived at 10.30pm! Ordered x2 starters - satay chicken sauce had split all over the contents of the bag - and the chicken was so tough it was inedible. Prawn toast was completely soggy. Had chicken balls for main and again completely soggy and fried rice was undercooked. The only vaguely edible thing was schezuan prawn. Would not order from here again - avoid!

I ordered a mea for my husband and i, through just eat, took my order and my money, when my husband went down to collect it, the place was closes home!!!
