Great ambience and Ramakrishnan was way above and beyond in his hospitality service. Highly recommend to try the restaurant cuisine and special thanks to the restaurant manager for his passion towards making this a huge success.

Nice breads. Prawn curry ok but a bit watery. CTM disappointing. Chicken tikka didn't appear to have been cooked in a tandoor and sauce overly tomato flavoured

I had a lamb curry very tasty enjoyed the food not a very big meal considering how pricey it was Although very enjoyable, I have had better Delivery driver got a bit lost and so the food wasn’t very hot, but I can’t really blame him for that very friendly delivery driver

We went to Tulsi for the first time and its amazing. We bought Biriyani and Chicken Korma along with bread. We all loved the food, taste is great and the service is best. Staffs were so kind and good. Manager is very friendly though we met him for the first time. Over all 5 Full Rating.

Visited for the first time today - amazing food and such a friendly atmosphere and service. The biryani especially was incredible! Would definitely come again and recommend to everyone!!

The food and the service were second to none. My niece is coeliac and the staff, chef could not have been more attentive ensuring that the food was gluten free. The onion bhaji and naan bread were the best we have tasted. I would definitely recommend this wonderful restaurant. We will definitely be returning.

We met with friends here for dinner on a Saturday night. The drinks took some time to arrive, but we hadn't seen each other for ages so were busy catching up. Due to having no soft furnishings it was very loud at times, just with people talking. The food took almost an hour after we had ordered to come out and it didn't all come together, two of us had finished eating before the last dish came to the table! When the food did arrive it was fantastic, very tasty and nicely presented. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating if a bit slow. There were two birthdays, one on our table, and those people got free kulfi. This started a chain-reaction with other tables claiming somebody had a birthday which the staff took in good faith and provided more free kulfi. The jury is out on whether I'd go again.

Delicious food with clearly marked vegan options. The Baingan Bharta and onion bhaji especially are both full of flavour, and set this restaurant apart from others.

We've had a many wonderful takeaways from Tulasi (here's one example) and recommended them to our friends and family who are also raving about them and getting their orders in! Really excellent Indian cuisine, and the dosa are especially delicious! I've also been very impressed with their eco-friendly packaging. Wanted to try this restaurant so conned a friend into taking me out. The service was impeccable and we were made to feel very welcome. My friend loved the food, but I was not quite so impressed. I will say that I am very fussy about Asian food so hold a high standard of expectation. While there was a lot of effort made to present the food in a contemporary fashion, some of the flavours did not quite hit the mark for me. The bhaji were a bit undercooked. The bread cover on the rice dish, while impressive, did not taste good. Berry dip for a papadum is just plain weird if you ask me. The thing that upset me most was that my lasse was pathetically small and for nearly £5, I really do expect a decent sized large glass, not a thimble. Apart from that, it was nice enough with a menu range that's a bit different from the norm, but a little too limited for me. I had the dosa, which was good and I would actually recommend.

Ordered with Tulasi for the first time this evening and we were so pleased we chose to get a takeaway from there. We do not live in an area that is too easy to find with just the address, but Tulasi delivered to our property quickly and with ease. The deliverer was incredibly polite and had clearly gone to some effort to find our front door! They have a really great range of dishes for vegetarians. Everything that we ordered was of such high quality, cooked perfectly and tasted so fresh. The Baingan Bharta and kale chat were particular highlights. It was also impressive to see a takeway move away from using plastic packaging! No doubt we will order from Tulasi again soon

During my stay in Oxford for a quick visit during bank Holiday, I have visited this place based on recommendation from a friend. I visited with a Friend expecting a good ambiance and Food . We have found this place excellent and food ordered Kale Chat Chilli paneer Kadhai Paneer Dal makhani South Indian parantha And Garlic naan were so delicious. On conversation, I have found Manager on duty who served is Rama Krishna and hospitality crew member is Mina . Excellent service and Food . I recommend this place to enjoy authentic Indian food . P.S. please ask at reception in advance that you are looking for their best dishes and recommendations from staff

This is now our favourite Indian restaurant and saves us trips to Southall for a ‘real’ authentic curry!!! It’s is the real thing, not the generic curry most places serve, so be prepared for a smaller menu but real, freshly prepared dishes which are so full of flavour and all prepared to order. Try the paratha, it’s amazing!!

I had an order delivered from the restaurant, that I had placed directly with them online. Delicious food, as always. The vegetarian dishes are my favourite.

Great food, great service. The only improvement required is to improve the acoustics! Put something on the walls and ceiling as the noise when crowded is terrible, currently a big empty box. Otherwise superb, a real gem.

Close to Blenheim Palace, this restaurant was excellent. The chicken tikka was flavorful and we enjoyed the kale chat. The dosa was fresh and the beetroot tikka was yummy.

This is absolutely the best authentic indian food in our area. It is prepared from fresh ingredients, not oily and always delicious whatever we choose. Our 'go to' for Indian. Does not feel heavy or leave an aftertaste. The service is prompt and professional with a smile. We accept that the restaurant is small which must be challenging for Tulasi - it can get a little noisy at busy times in the tight space if you want a quiet dinner for two. We want to support Tulasi as best we can.

We had hundreds of different asian Indian food everywhere . This is one of the best places i have been . Quality of every dish is high spec , everything tastes different . Good customer service even chef comes outside to check how happy customers are.

This is not your standard 'Indian Restaurant'; this is quality food prepared with care and full of real and subtle flavours. We shared a full vegetarian meal around a table in the garden and it was just superb! The manager even telephoned to make sure we had ordered enough rice; he was right, we hadn't.

We have been at the restaurant before and as previous visit the food was delicious and presented with attention to details, staff always very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended! Will be back again

I've never had such good Indian food. The simple starter samosa was beautifully presented and balanced in spiciness and spices. Dari Puri was a real find, so crispy and flavourful. All main courses were perfect, the biryani was cooked under a dough cover that you opened yourself at the table. A perfect evening, also because of the friendly service.

A first class meal was enjoyed by 3 of us on our way home from a trip last Saturday evening. Plenty of home made dishes like poppadums, kulfi and mint chocolates, as well as fabulous southern Indian cuisine. The service was extremely pleasant too and we can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. Absolutely excellent. Thank you.

Chicken Biriyani was okay. Keema paratha was not up to the mark, as I thought it would be of minced meat Keema.

Our first visit to this restaurant. We received a warm welcome and were promptly served with the drinks that we’d ordered. The food arrived promptly and was absolutely delicious. There were 7 of us in our party, including a child. We all said how lovely the food was. The staff were friendly and engaging too. Highly recommended.

I was pleased to try a modern style Indian restaurant that presented their food creativity. As an Indian I was relatively pleased with the flavours and textures. I personally would have enjoyed a little extra spice to contrast the the combination of ingredients but this is my personal choice. Service was great and the chef was very happy to hear about our experience. Would go again. Thanks for helping us celebrate our friends birthday.

I've had many curries up through the years, this one surprised me. The starters were something completely different compared to what I'm used to, very nice indeed. The mains topped it with its perfectly spiced courses. The place is not very curry house like, but the food and service is well recommended

Went here on a Tuesday night so it wasn't heaving. Everything was delicious, beautifully presented. The waiter recommended well, we had the fish mandalorean and the aubergine. We I will surely come back!

Authentic tasty Indian food with lovely presentation. Very welcoming and friendly staff. I think a slightly broader and more varied menu would improve it and some dry rosé wine (white zinfandel is dreadful to a discerning wine drinker!). A little expensive compared to other Indian restaurants in the region, especially given the amount of food provided in each dish.

We have had our second meal from here and will definitely be ordering again. Exceptionally good food, delivered quickly and courteously. Tasted fabulous and is of excellent quality. The best Indian meal around. I haven’t commented on atmosphere because we haven’t eaten in house but I will be aiming to do so at some point in the near future. Highly recommended.

We've dined here a few times now. The food is always great, especially the prawn curry. I can't eat spicy food, so I asked which dishes were not spicy. But even the dishes they said were not spicy were a little bit 😂 but I expected this because my tolerance is really low. The owner/manager is very nice and pleasant. He remembered us after a few months, and he even remembered our previous orders 😮 we always go on a Sunday night, so it's really quiet. Hopefully it's busier on other days, because they are awesome!

I rarely rate someone 5 stars, this was a 7 star right from when we entered. Fellow diners were quick to share how amazing the food here was. Our experience definitely went above and beyond that. The chef personally came to greet and even customised a dish to exactly suit our request. The food tastes 5*. The hospitality is 7*. It is a fairly new restaurant that deserves all the praise for it to be termed the best Indian food near M40, Oxford. The host is so soft spoken and welcoming. I wish more people read this and visit them

Great little restaurant. Without a doubt the best food in Kidlington. Fresh, very tasty, great presentation, especially the startes. I have been here twice now and am looking forward to explore the rest of the menu. The menu is relatively short but it is clearly quality over quantity. Excellent service as well.

Tried Masala Dosa and Hyderabi Dum Biryani which were Authentic. Price is reasonable and ambience is very good. Definitely value for money if you want Authentic food

We keep coming back to Tulasi for its tasty dishes all made with fresh ingredients. Their crunchy onion badjis are the best, as are other starters. Their curries are full of flavour but not drenched in fat, unlike other local Indian restaurants. I sincerely recommend.

We took a chance to stop by Tulasi for dinner on a drive from Birmingham to London as we searched googlemaps. This place is a gem, food is amazing, presentation is high class and service is impeccable. Greatly recommend!

It's the best Indian food I have ever eaten! The service is also just right - friendly and attentive but not over bearing. It's not a special room with much character so one star off but it really doesn't matter. Just bring good company and have great meal.

Very authentic Indian food. The Malabar prawns and Paratha were spot on! We could say all the food was freshly prepared and the staff were so friendly and accommodating too!

Absolute hidden gem. Chef Michelin trained and you can tell. Loads of vegetarian and vegan options and all delicious. Couldn’t resist the purple carrot fudge dessert despite being full!

Had eaten here when it opened a while back and was quite impressed. The quality of food for a recent takeaway however was very poor. Too much oil, salt. Limited on the meat and fish. Miniscule pickles. Stone cold nan. Never again. Dosa Park in Kidlington just so much better.

Visited Tulasi on a recommendation from a friend - and we found it to be a fantastic experience. The dishes were presented differently to most of the Indian restaurants I've tried, and I was very pleasantly surprised. I had the chicken chettinadu and was recommended the paratha. Both were delicious. I followed with the mango kulfi and purple carrot fudge. I don't normally have room for dessert, but enjoyed the sweet course very much. Everything was prepared with love, attention to detail and great flavours. We were also looked after exceptionally well in terms of the service. I couldn't fault Tulasi, and hope to return before long. [I've only given 4 for atmosphere as we were there on a quiet midweek evening].

We have eaten at this small restaurant several times and have never been disappointed. The best Indian food we have eaten. Small menu but everything is freshly made. The chef and all staff very friendly and take time to explain the dishes. This is a restaurant I and my friends Would highly recommend.

This Indian restaurant is an absolute gem. The menu is so tempting with a good range of delicious food - the crispy kale chat is out of this world! And the staff are charming - friendly, efficient and full of great recommendations. We will be back very soon.

Tulasi provides a rare opportunity to sample the best of South Indian food in an area otherwise dominated by Bangladeshi "Indian" restaurants. The quality of food at this restaurant is some of the best Indian food I have had, reflecting their in house cooking for all their dishes.

A gem of a restaurant! Absolutely delicious, authentic food. We shared a chicken tikka biryani (unlike any biryani I’ve had before - so much better) and a chicken tikka masala (also unlike any dish of the same name I’ve tasted before and also so much better!). The restaurant was very busy with a large group being served before us so we had quite a long wait but the staff were fantastic. They were so apologetic and generous - bringing us complimentary pappadums and a mango lassi while we waited. When we left the manager was busy behind the bar so wasn’t able to respond when we said our goodbyes and gave our compliments to the chef. But he ran after us to thank us for our custom and patience. All in all a superb experience. We will return! Thank you
