We were looking for ages for somewhere to eat and were hungry. Ordered two full breakfasts and waited. And waited. When it appeared, the only hot items on the plate were the sausages. The beans were stone cold, the mushrooms, bacon, tomatoes and the underdone eggs were barely room temperature. Not satisfied at all. My partner hardly ate any of his. Wouldn't recommend

Lovely small coffee shop with very good coffee and cakes. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Nice to be able to sit and chat without having to fight with the background music

Really friendly and helpful staff. Great coffee. Lovely to sit in the window area and watch the world go by. Would be 5 stars, but the toilets need some work.

My wife and I booked a Sunday/Monday getaway. We overnighted and had breakfast in The Hop Inn. We had the warmest welcome on arrival and was shown to room 5. More than adequate and clean, a very short walk into town or the beach, we loved it. We bagged a parking space outside so remained without any parking charges. We had the pleasure or meeting Rocky and having breakfast served by him, unbeknown to us my wife left her watch behind in the room on checkout, we returned later after realising, and there was Rocky waiting for us with the watch safe and secure. Loved the service, friendly welcome and attitude of everyone at the hotel

My BFF and I visited Bournemouth for just one night. After grabbing some lunch, we were on the hunt for coffee! As coffee-loving Americans, and first-time visitors to the UK, we didn’t know what to expect from our first experience at a coffee shop. And we found, Lily at the Bournemouth Caffè Nero. 🙌🏼 We always order (or would make at home with espresso-makers) Brevé Lattes, either iced or hot. A standard latte is made using milk, steamed for hot or cold for iced. The brevé means that half-n-half is used in place of milk. But, as we learned as we continued our trek around England, no barista was familiar with a “brevé latte.” Nor did they even know what half-n-half was! Lily listened patiently as we explained our American form of coffee and helped us to achieve something very similar. She did it all with a friendly smile and with professionalism. She was obviously a competent barista and has superb customer skills. Thanks to Lily. We visited the store once again in Bournemouth the following morning and gave our thanks and goodbyes to her. Because of her help, we were able to visit many other Caffè Nero locations and order what was wanted more easily. (Even if they were surprised by this crazy way that some Americans take their lattes. Note: If one is curious about our habits, there’s less sugar in half-n-half than in milk…and tastes way better.)
