Great place to socialise with friends.

First impressions of the entire entrance was less than enticing (best described as possitively filthy) nearly had me leave without sampling the rest of the premises. However, ignoring first impressions we headed to the almost packed restaurant, found the place unfussy, clean, staff welcoming and the food good, served timely in ample portions at a reasonable cost.

We were in this lovely restaurant... for a Birthday dinner for my great friend .. meal was fabulous £15 = for 3 courses ...great selection on menu And served by very friendly great staff ... We had grand time ... I recommend it totally Ooh and book before they be very busy especially on a Sunday .... sorry to have to say ... Trinity Lodge has had a bad fire ... it is closed for time being 😟 Hope it is able to open ASAP!! Good Luck to them All

Went here for Sunday lunch asked for two cokes was very flat and not a bit cold starters was literally just finished when are mains was brought also husband queried about the coke as he thought it was cheap cola and waitress did not seem happy about replacing it felt as if we were watched the whole time.also took our dessert to go pavlova looking forward to it with cuppa tea but disappointed when we opened it just to find a piece of strawberry meringue no cream

All I can say is it was one of the nicest Christmas dinners we have ever had out as not only was the food plentiful and tasty but it was also piping hot. The staff were very friendly also and nothing was too much trouble for them either. Lastly don't judge a book by it's cover as I nearly did, the place itself is nothing fancy, no frills just nice down to earth people and food. Merry Christmas

Love going here my mum and her sister's we have a great time the staff are so friendly especially Maureen we have got to know and the food is delicious with them being older they are very obliging to accommodate their needs and now on a Wednesdays they have 20% off for pensioners which is a bonus

The quality of the food would rival the top hotels in Belfast.

The food is great , the restaurant is cosy, you could sit out the back on a hot day and take in views of the Blackmountain. Hence the name "The Blackmountain Restaurant". For a good descent meal at reasonable prices it's a must. It you come from a far then I recommend taking in a Gaelic match at Gort Na Mona too just around the corner !

The family have been here loads of times. Food is not expensive at all, a good menu with lots of choice and great staff too. Food is always plentiful with added sides when requested. Could not fault this place. Well done! Only downside, a small one, they don't take credit or debit cards so remember to have cash on you.
