Closed on Wednesday at 3.30pm. A total waste of time and petrol. No indication on Facebook. What a way to run a business.

I have visited several times now, and am always pleasantly surprised by the ambience there, Took a friend for afternoon tea for her 78th birthday, her 'best gift ever' apparently.. We were eating for almost two hours, yet felt 'unrushed' and welcome!

What a little gem sitting on our doorstep. Lovely owners. Good range of gins totally unexpected. But no offer for having a double not a single. The food looks fabulous we’re looking forward to trying an afternoon tea one day hopefully.

Working lunch with a colleague - spur of the moment. Wow what an enchanting find. Its like walking into a time warp. Memorabilia of all sorts. Ordered soup with a soft drink. Small menu choice but ample for lunch. The two staff on were very warm and welcoming. There's a nice area to the back Its a bit cluttered and resembles a jumble sale again with lots of bric a brac. Think some of it for sale. Nice to sit in the Summer and drink coffee or a glass of wine...also Brecon gins on offer.

Gaynor and her staff couldn’t do enough for our family when we celebrated our mum’s 90th birthday. The food was gorgeous and everyone enjoyed wandering around the antiques and I’m sure some purchases were made. The garden at the rear looks amazing and I will most certainly go back in the kinder weather to sample another delicious tea at this amazing venue.

It’s like an aladins cave inside! And the size of a Tardis! Amazing choice of home cooked meals and desserts. Caters for gluten free clients etc. Licensed bar with locally made Gins and their own label lagers made on the Gower. Super friendly staff. No hurry to finish up and rush off. Very pleasant experience and will DEFINITELY be going again!!!

We called in yesterday, on what was very wet afternoon, and spent a delightful couple of hours exploring the shop and having lunch. Bought three very nice pieces and enjoyed a lovely light lunch whilst sipping a rose flavoured gin and tonic, one of the dozens on offer. The owners were absolutely charming and welcoming, and I shall certainly be looking out for one of their themed nights for when I'm next visiting family.

Popped in there for lunch as it is a local business ,ordered vegetarian quiche and a small salad which when arrived the salad was ok but the pastry on the quiche which looked more like a pizza and was very flat was raw and was sent back . I declined to have a different meal there and won’t be returning .

From the moment you walk through the door, Gaynor makes you feel so welcome. Vintage pieces delight everywhere you look. We were seated and presented with a beautiful array of finger sandwiches and pastries, folloeed by a tower of sweet delights and a light trifle.Afterwards we sat in the courtyard garden enjoying early spring sunshine. Visit you won't be dissapointed

Having previously had the pleasure of the afternoon tea experience, today I went along for the Open Doors 175 What is this, I hear you say 🤗 Tres Bien @Vintage 7, has been a licensed premises for 175 years this year, therefore, the idea was created, to offer coffee or tea with Toast/Cake for just £1.75 So nice to see people who have never met, chatting away over a coffee, here in The Heart of The Melyn. Congratulations Gaynor and staff for masterminding such a fabulous idea. So looking forward to your next open doors day. Apologies for only giving 5*, but there was no option for 10*+

Great friendly no nonsense atmosphere. You could easily sit here all day scrolling, or doing work on your laptop. Staff are friendly and helpful and will leave you alone as good as chat to you. It's the sort of place where everyone feels part of the community and you could find yourself chatting with total strangers about a load of different subjects. It attracts young and old and people from all walks of life. Local business that is hitting the right spot in the heart of the community. Great little place. Definitely better than Cafe FortySix as its main competitor. Coffee is also local as well as some other brands which are spot on. Wide selection of pastries/cakes as well as wraps and bagels. Crisps and drinks are also good too. Dog friendly also which is nice. Looking forward to spending more time here.
