Once again we had the most amazing afternoon tea. The cakes were sumptuous and the scones the best we’ve ever had. Liz is an amazing host. We will definitely be back. Thank you Liz.

Tremains Tea Hut was just what I was looking for for my Mum's 88th birthday party. I got together a group of her friends and Liz put on the most wonderful afternoon tea in there for us all. The sandwiches, cakes & scones were delicious - even enough for some goody bags to take home too! Nothing was too much trouble for Liz, she looked after us so well & so thoughtfully. It really is the most cosy of huts & makes for a perfect little private event. All the communication and organisation beforehand & on the day were also spot on. Mum and co. are still talking about it. Such a great afternoon - I'm sure we'll be back! Thanks so much :-)

We visited here for the first time today and all I can say is wow! What a fabulous little place. The shepherds hut set in a gorgeous country garden is the perfect setting for the delicious afternoon tea. With homemade cakes and scones together with a selection of sandwiches all served on bone china plates and cups and saucers. This really is a hidden gem and one I’d highly recommend!

Myself and my wife are local and dropped in yesterday for breakfast. Very nice breakfast, my wife couldn’t finish her granola so I did, which was excellent. Will go again.

New menu for Spring and did you know there was one for 5pm to 6.45pm? Similar to the lunch one. Devilled Kidneys and parfait are back on Starters, while chicken and mushroom pie is on Mains, which was delicious, with a nice crust around the top, with peas and baked potatoes or chips. Belly of Pork and Sea Bass was also enjoyed by us, with waitresses passing by with that huge piece of fish you can also have. Dorset apple cake is on puds, with orange posset, which are lovely.

Came here for a birthday lunch with a group of 12 today. Super Sunday lunch, hunters chicken and pies. Amazing puddings - especially the cherry cheesecake, sticky toffee pudding and banoffee pie. Lovely, kind and friendly staff. It was busy and reasonably loud when we arrived - I suspect we added somewhat to that too! But there were also quieter spots in little alcoves round the corner and dogs were welcomed.
