Very disappointed! Chicken wing starter - clearly microwaved! Half way through them, and mains delivered to the table (also microwaved). Waiter was good. Management couldn’t care less.

Lovely midrange restraunt/pub. Good selection of drinks, prices on the booze are a little steep but thats how these places stay afloat. The food can best be described as hearty, but yknow not in like a greasy way, yknow it's just nice. Good place for a meal with your partner or family gathering. been here for many such occasions and never had a bad experience.

Went for Sunday lunch. It was very busy, but the staff were attentive. Meals soon arrived and the plates were huge. Food was delicious. Meat was tender and veg were cooked to perfection. Paulina and Billy deserve a special mention. Despite being very busy, they took the time to constantly check everything was ok. Would certainly recommend booking and will return.

Firstly I never give 5/5 for good so this was very good! Steak was perfect! I took my 4.5 year old daughter for Valentines. She loved it! I loved it! The staff were incredible! Kind, friendly, attentive & were great with my daughter. Would highly recommend it here! & I will be back again :-) Thank you, Myk

We were running a bit late and were told to order as our table was only booked for 2 hours. So we had to order before we were all actually seated. Lasagne is my favourite dish and I have to say this was the worst I’ve ever had. It was like mushy baby food, topped with a pasta sheet. I really don’t think I would go back. Very expensive for basic food.

En primer lugar me gustaría felicitar a todos los interesados en este restaurante porque a diferencia de otros restaurantes en Darlington estaban abiertos para negocios un lunes por la tarde, mientras que el resto estaban cerrados. Podría decir un poco de decepción si viajas desde Bishop Auckland. Todo lo que puedo decir es que las pizzas están muy bien cocinadas sabrosas y bien presentadas. Las pieles de patata son fantásticas. Brillante vino de la casa 🍷 en general todos los demás platos son fantásticos. Personal curvilíneo junto con un entorno encantador. Personalmente me quedé impresionado con este restaurante y voy a Definitivamente volver. Deseo a todos los interesados el mayor de los éxitos en el futuro. Muy buenos deseos John Gasston ♥ 👍

Me send my partner arrived today to try the food for the first time and we didn't even stay due to the front of house having a sour faced attitude and awful social skills.. all we asked was for a table for 2 and there was no communication and was just stood there going through thr diary for 3 mins and all I asked was have you got a table, so then she just just looked me up and down and with a horrible tone 'HES DOING IT NOW!' so this enough for me and my partner to just turn around and leave. Will not be coming back if that's hiw the staff treat you.

Como cliente habitual aquí durante un par de años comiendo principalmente almuerzos de domingo, le dimos una oportunidad para el almuerzo de Navidad para 15 personas en la calle 21 de diciembre Como siempre fuimos recibidos con una cálida sonrisa y mostrados a nuestra mesa. Pre-pedimos según la reserva para que todos estuvieran atendidos. . Ese lugar estaba muy ocupado como siempre y nos sirvieron nuestras bebidas. . el personal preguntó si estábamos listos para nuestros entrantes y salieron calientes y todos al mismo tiempo no escalonados como algunos lugares Después de más bebidas, el personal volvió a preguntar si estábamos listos para nuestra red y de nuevo todos llegaron con tubería caliente y juntos Nada era demasiado para el personal, ya que somos asiduos aquí nos gusta pensar que somos amables con ellos, el personal es magnífico en lo que hacen, nunca estresado y siempre educado y sonriente, mientras que también interactúa con los clientes que trajo un ambiente encantador al lugar . . La comida como siempre era fantástica y porciones de buen tamaño, pudines también En general nos encanta este lugar y seguiremos visitando aquí semanalmente Dale una oportunidad y no te decepcionará en mi opinión Buena comida buen ambiente y sobre todo personal excepcional

Visitamos aquí el jueves 12 de diciembre de 2024 como un grupo razonablemente grande de 14 personas. Lo sé en esta época del año, ya que los restaurantes están extremadamente ocupados, los estándares de servicio y la calidad de la comida a veces pueden sufrir un poco. Bueno, por nuestra experiencia de anoche, ese no fue el caso en Tre - Amici. Nuestro grupo pidió una variedad de entrantes, platos principales, postres y todos se presentaron bien y cocinados a la perfección. La comida que pedimos fue desde See Bass, Tempura Prawns, Mixed Grill, Lasagne y Pizza por nombrar algunos. Todos probaron como debían, y los asistentes felicitaron. Visitamos Tre - Amici cada año en esta época como grupo, y nunca decepciona. El personal es maravilloso. Eso es desde el primer contacto con la encantadora señora que manejó la reserva (que también fue encantador en lidiar con un par de no shows que tuvimos en el último minuto) , y el personal de servicio extremadamente educado que nos atendió en la noche. No dudaría en recomendar Tre - Amici si no has sido ella antes. Excelente - Muy recomendable!

Lovely friendly staff and polite..food was good. Service was excellent..went for a special birthday meal with family and waiter micky was brilliant added to a good night..do kids menu and kids drinks..lots of choice from the menu..had Christmas fare as well..definitely go back..

The place looks great the lighting and the vibe of the place is great. The tall slender waiter was great and tended to us all night. He seemed to be grafting hard but it was quite tough to get the attention of anyone else to order more drinks when the bar staff seem unable to take an order. Managed to stay warm inside which has always been an issue with that building. Overall was really nice and will be returning

Relaxing and chilled dining atmosphere to meet friends for lunch. Staff & service were impeccable as always, never rushed or pestered during our 2hr stay. Bravo. Sunday lunch options are exceptional 👌 😋

The best place hands down for food service and atomosphere. Once again only the bestest freshest food sourced and prepared.

Food was delicious and service was excellent. However, the waiter who had no hair or teeth, had really bad body odour. Not nice when he keeps walking past when you're eating. Very off putting.

A very enjoyable lunch with friends before Theatre. Staff were friendly and efficient. Toilets were very clean. Food was served quickly with a smile.

Considering I brought 13 people here for lunch, I was disappointed to find that staff ask you if you’d like any sauces, that they are extra and not in with your price? Sometimes it’s the little things you remember, especially when we all spent around £35/55 per person.

An excellent experience. Despite the fact that they were very busy, the staff found the space and time for a solo diner. The staff were helpful and attentive. The quality of the food was excellent and the portions were generous. The whole meal was very pleasant and represented good value for money.

Probablemente la peor comida que he tenido en Darlington. El pollo estaba seco, demasiado cocido, sabía a papel secante. Lo único positivo de la comida fue la salsa y ensalada, probablemente precocinaron el pollo y recalentaron la pechuga. La única razón por la que obtuvo 2 estrellas fue debido al excelente servicio. ¡No iré de nuevo!

Great atmosphere and service . Food was delicious .

Beautiful restaurant, very clean n classy looking, lighting is very ambient shows the integrity of the building. Food was quickly served (was eating alone on my visit) I had pate starter, and Pollo Diane with Med rice for main. Superb would sum it up. Ive never had a better Diane sauce in 20 odd years! Staff very friendly, check on everything around and not standing chatting. Highly recommend this Gem. Thankyou. Heading home back to North Wales I will remember this place.

I went with my daughter and her fiancee. It was the 2nd time of going here. The first time my order was cocked up due to a communication error. It gets noisy in there which as a partially deaf person can be annoying. The food was good for my daughter etc but found my mixed grill over done in some part the chop dry,chicken dry, the steak over cooked after asking for blue. Salad was good as we're the chips,and mushrooms so I left a good portion of mine. The starters were good. A bit pricey compared to some places I have been too. Service was good.

Generally a great place for an Italian meal. However, It was rather limited in its Italian menu.

Visited for a relatives Birthday meal. Approx 20 of us. Meals were lovely. Fantastic service. Lovely atmosphere, aesthetically pleasing.

Great food, the mixed grill was a bit dry, and it seemed a little overcooked. The atmosphere is always average, a pretty loud environment where you can't have a conversation with the person opposite. The staff are nice and very accommodating and will ammendments an order to you liking which I was quite surprised to learn.

The young waitress was very polite and she was quite talkative. The food was astounding I ordered the pepperoni pizza and a negroni the pizza was mouth watering and the negroni tasted very fresh I would 100% go back. GO HERE

I think the lunch time menu could come with sides such as salad peas or veg looked a bit plain for the price i know its a little cheaper but its not that cheap !! Food is very nice tho x x x 🥰

Had a brilliant Sunday dinner here. Very good quality and quantity. Not the best roast beef I have ever had but perhaps the second best. It really was that good.

Great staff and good food. Pretty reasonable price too. Not the best food we’ve had but for ambience, groups etc it’s good. Didn’t enjoy the pizza, it didn’t seem homemade-I’m Italian so know my stuff but the burger was amazing.

Out for lunch with friends celebrating a birthday. Some of my friends were reasonably happy with their meals. However, the Spaghetti Al Gamberoni (a grand name I know ) which was described on the menu as ‘spaghetti tossed with king prawns in a fresh tomato and garlic chilli sauce’ was terrible…. I would liken it to a Heinz tinned spaghetti type sauce with 4 prawns thrown in. Even a generous dose of black pepper didn’t raise the flavour. I’ve been a regular patron of this establishment but over a period have seen such a decline in quality….. shame really !

Rather than choose from the Early Doors menu I choose sea bass from the a la carte. I have ordered this before many times and enjoyed it however this time the fish was overcooked and very disappointing. I have put this down to the fact that it was only 5.30 and perhaps this meal had been kept warm for far too long? Staff were lovely and attentive so its such a pity that my meal choice fell far short of what I would normally expect when paying full price.

Had Sunday lunch and it exceeded our expectations. Welcoming atmosphere, friendly prompt service and plate warmed. Tasty gravy, perfectly roasted beef, good selection of vegetables.

Tre amici is so good i love the parmos here i have been 7 weeks in a row and still going the staff here are lovely and the food and drink are very affordable i have never been dissapointed here and the doorman always tries to fit me in, i have tried many dishes including wraps,pastas,risotto,chicken dishes and burgers and they are all amazing

Used the online booking system and received a confirmation pending email. Never received final confirmation so rang and was told it had been rejected. We could've turned up and been turned away. Don't trust the online booking system. Simply not good enough.

A place which I have visited on weekend evenings on several occasions & have yet to be disappointed. Convivial atmosphere, lovely decor, trained efficient staff. Food has never failed to please. Highly recommended

This place was starting to to become the first choice for when we were in the town. However we had been out for a walk and although we'd been in a few times we were denied getting a table because of the way we were dressed. There was many tables free but the head waiter t"the guy who has modelled himself on Fred Sirieix 😬" looked us up and down and said he had no tables free. Don't worry we won't be back and you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. Disgusting behaviour 😔

Hosted a team party, service was superb. Food was spot on. Prices more than reasonable. No doubt we will all be returning.

We visited here for Sunday lunch. I opted for the beef, which was lovely and tender. The roast potatoes were average, and the mash potato was watery. The portion sizes are very generous. Good selection of drinks available. Overall, I would say the Sunday lunch was average, but I will be back to try the main menu as the actual restaurant had a lovely, chilled vibe.

Great choice of food, reasonably priced

We came as a family for a Christmas meal. We had a shared garlic bread starter, one kids meal and two adult mains. Chicken Crema with rice and chorizo risotto for the adults and a pizza for the child! The food was absolutely delicious, piping hot and the service was brilliant! Cocktails were strong and yummy and overall it was a wonderful meal out. Fab service, quality food, value for money and really nice decor. The only negative was that we were seated near the main doors and felt an arctic blast every time they opened! It seemed generally cooler sat there anyway but we were unable to move due to being fully booked! Was a shame and we hurried to finish our food due to being cold. Was the only thing that was wrong with the whole night.

Sunday lunch Jan 2024 absolutely wonderful tender tasty meat sensible price for drinks with a great selection of wines. First glass, brightened a rather dull day. Went for happy hour good price and big portions very well cooked and great service.

The meal started with prosecco, which was a bonus for me as other half doesn't drink so 2 for me. They ask if you are ready for each course so you can take your time or in our case let the previous course rest no time restrictions. The meals were amazing I had scallops and chorizo he had soup both were delicious. We were people watching and checking the food out. The main course was massive so much so we brought a full meal home. Desert champagne sorbet mmm. There was nothing to fault, friendly, efficient, attentive staff including the Grinch (waiter). We will definitely be booking next year

This is the second time we have been to Tre-Amici as a large group and would highly recommend. The service was excellent and lots of variety and choice on menu. The food and drinks were brought promptly and all the waiting staff were very friendly and attentive. The food and cocktails are nicely presented and served in a timely manner for a large group. They were also very well organised in helping separate the bill at the end so our group had no problem working out who owed what and paying separately. Will definitely go again and highly recommend.

We were a party of 16 (work outing) and cannot fault our whole experience. The restaurant was very busy but we were made to feel as though we were their only customers. Nothing was too much trouble, we had pre-ordered and our food (starters and mains) arrived at the same time and were deliciously piping hot. They asked if we wanted more drinks throughout the meal and the staff were all very friendly and cheery - they had real enthusiasm! Paying the bill was straightforward, we had paid a deposit in advance and everyone was able to pay individually for food & drinks and deposit was removed. A fantastic evening was had by all, made even better by the fab staff and brilliant service at Tre Amici.

I turned up without a booking, which given it was midweek shouldn't have been a problem, however it was still very busy and I was still welcomed and given a table for two. I ordered a beer while I checked out the menu, this is when my taste experience started, jucy prawns in my Gamberoni Diavola had me requesting the red wine list, and asking for something to compliment my main of Spaghetti Frutti Di Mare. I was not disappointed, I was recommended the Primitivo Masseria Settearchi, which was extremely tasteful with each combined bite and sip. I can't recommend this place enough, I'll be back soon, probably next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. When you find a place like this, why would you not go as often as you can?
