Carvey meat portion too small,yorkshire puddings still frozen in centre,in fairness to the latter full of apologies and replaced with free drink included. Children meals pretty decent. Honest feedback could do better.

The service was Really slow there was old chunks of food on the floor they never have the food that I like this place is not what it used to be standards have dropped unfortunately not worth going anymore.

Had a great experience at the Trawl today! The atmosphere wasn’t busy and was quiet! The food came really quickly and was hot and cooked to perfection! I have been here a couple of times now and the food is always spot on! The staff serve you with a smile too which always goes far!

Really liked this Monday evening visit to the Trawl. Ellie, the barmaid was very helpful when explaining the offers and discounts available. When the food came it was perfect, well cooked and prepared by Will the duty chef. Well done folks 👏 👍 😀

Not a very nice place, I've got no complaints about the food the meal was nice BUT the meal I ordered came out wrong I was told by a young lass that's the meal you ordered haha don't think so I'm sure I know what I ordered she then got on her high horse and shouted I'm not standing here arguing with you, the meal was replaced like I said foods lovely, THEN my 11 year olds dessert came out wrong again, same delightful waitress came over picked it up didn't speak took it away brought the new one through it on the table at my daughter and walked off, absolute disgrace, if you want higher reviews I would get that little cow as far-away from there as possible, shame really where local been going in years

I can honestly say that I haven't had a bad meal at the Trawl for about 10 years now. We sometimes have to ask someone to come and clean the table before we can relax but the staff recently have been friendly and professional. A good local!

Fantastic ! We had a charity quiz night there was around 30 of us and they handled it amazingly , the service was great nothing was too much trouble , all the food was hot and was brought out at the same time and food was yummy.

We attended on Saturday for food then watched rag n bone man absolutely fantastic booking , food ,service was fantastic & act was amazing keep it up

Appeared very understaffed. That said, the staff we interacted with were all very lovely. Took over an hour for our main courses to arrive. The roast potatoes were missing, the mash was very over-microwaved and hard/dry. The gravy was almost solid and consisted mostly of lumps. The stuffing ball disintegrated when I tried to cut it but was at least tasty. The Yorkshire puddings were very tough and hard to cut, probably over-microwaved too. Oh and there ants on the table!! The atmosphere/clientele leave a lot to be desired. A real shame really as it could be a great location. Just seems that most people don’t know how to behave in public or be decent human beings. No manners or decorum and no respect or consideration. Neanderthals in football shirts, at best! Nicer at The Wellow in Cleethorpes, worth travelling a bit further to avoid this place. Waste of money, disappointing food and will avoid at all costs.

We are unfortunately in the area for a funeral, But what a great experience, staff are fantastic, polite and very helpful, Ellie was especially helpful and fantastic, couldn't ask for a nicer person. 5 star all day long

Went yesterday for food having waited ages for it to come chicken was cold chips cold ,my friends was burnt .complained they did me another chips was hot chicken had been pinged in microwave was rubbish.. won,t be returning. Other people also had problems with there meals. Answer we have new chef .

I don't know what's happened to this place used to be a good place to eat. My friends food was cold and sent back. It wasn't that good when it came back. My sizzler was not sizzling all onion and peppers burnt and stuck to sizzler. Heard another 2 people complain about their food and got a refund. Went home with bad guts. Will mott be returning

Nice family pub, friendly staff, decent food at a reasonable price. My only qualm was the gravy was too thin for my liking. The car park can take a while to exit as its onto a busy road right by the roundabout.

Not all the menu available. Waiting ages for food. Staff are rude. Spoke to someone to see where food is and got ignored. It wasn't till asked for money back to go elsewhere that the food was then conviently on its way out.

Alot of the food on the menu was out of stock, weren't informed until we went to the bar to order, the excuse was a new menu is coming out next week so they're not getting any more of the current menu items in, asked for hot drinks and was told no milk either!!

As a vegan, I'm used to my options being limited,but was looking forward to the offerings on the menu. Out with friends tonight and not 1 of the 3 vegan main meals was available. I was told "we've got a new menu next week and there's some great stuff on there". Wonderful,but I was hungry tonight,not next week. I had a disappointing bowl of chips and left. I won't be returning,new menu or not.

After visiting in June we decided to come again to the Trawl. Our meat didn't come as well done as we'd asked for but it was no trouble at all to change it. Unfortunately they were out of stock on a few kids meals but they were very good in offering alternatives and providing excellent service. The meals were lovely and we will definitely be coming again. Special mention for the assistant manager Ellie for being amazing and nothing was too much bother for her. Prime example of what type of person you want running a shift/ pub. Well done!

Been in the Trawl today and it has been very busy. But kay, ashleigh and bec have been amazing and there work really hard. Food has been amazing eveytime we come in. We will always bavj back. One of the baat pubs in the area.

Love this pub. Absolutely brilliant. Staff, service, food. Great place to be especially accommodating in the summer with the beer garden, in the winter there's plenty of space for everyone. Especially all of our football teams. Brilliant. 😊

First and last visit. We ordred a 12oz rump steak and a 8oz Smothered Steak Sizzler. The 12oz was a challenge to say the least, it looked good but tough, chewy and jaw achingly poor. The 8oz was better but very gristly. Chips were lukewarm and not fresh, onion rings soggy. Presentation very poor. I can't comment on the rest of the menu obviously. Wine selection poor, Abbot ale glorious.

Great friendly service, had a small problem with a rare steak cooked well done but sorted within 5 to 10 minutes, no problem , food and service 100%+ will be back for another visit.

Just been for 12oz rump steak, the wife had the 8oz. Cooked medium with peppercorn sauce, hats off & well done to the chef 👏👏 tasted amazing. Thanks 👍👍

Wouldnt go again ,food not the best dont know if was an off day . Didnt have cutlery,dips to go with burger,fryer broken. The roast lunch was inedible with thick gloopy gravy over the top ,raw veg -and i do like mine al dente - microwaved meat and potato. Burgers were ok as was the steak pie. They were understaffed

I had scampi with chips and mushy peas when it came the chips and scampi were in single figures and about one spoonful of mushy peas I felt it wasn't worth the money I won't be eating there again

Top atmosphere, and excellent service

Dining with a party of five, 4 meals delivered within a reasonable time but was still waiting after 45mins for the last meal. Very poor customer service, apology reluctantly given.

One person serving behind the bar, taking food orders as well as drinks, then running round to take some drinks to tables, think they need more staff front of house, especially during school holidays.

First and last time visiting here, was disappointed with the standard of cleanliness throughout. Our table and other tables in the vicinity were sticky, we observed a table that had been vacated, the glasses finally cleared and still 10 minutes later no one came back to clean or sanitise the table which might have explained why ours was so sticky. Upon visiting the bathroom you have to push the door with your hand it was so tacky it was disgusting to touch. Upon washing my hands in the small but adequate sink the force of the water that came from the tap splashed all my clothes. The food looked unattractive in its presentation but was edible. In fairness we could have pointed out these issues before leaving but if they could not see this for themselves we felt that we would be wasting our time.
