Fabulous dinner as always from Taverncore and really fast delivery! The food was still hot!

Been there for a birthday party. Food is excellent, especially thali which also includes starter soup so I'd recommend skipping additional starters if ordering thali. Service was also top quality. Their sea food platter, lentil vada and malabar biryani is ace. Slightly pricier than other Indian places but for a good reason. They should also include veg pulao / biryani that they served at Indian food mela as it was one of the best there. Recommended place.

Food was good but I took forever to come

Me and my friend ordered starter Masala Grilled Fish and in main course Malabar Chicken Curry with Appam and we liked it very much 4.5 out of 5 for that. My vegetarian friends ordered Paneer Chilli which was 4 out of 5, Idli, Mysore Masala Dosa and Veg Thali all were 3 out of 5. Service was flawless and ambience was also great!

Was in on Saturday for food, Lentil fritters weren't bad, but the Chana Masala with mushroom rice was absolutely delicious. Biggest regret was not being able to eat it all. Staff were great as well, will definitely be back in Aberdeen for a visit

I organised a meal here for 16 colleagues. Super easy to coordinate and organise the arrangements. Everyone kept talking about how good the food was. I can’t get across in this message how good the food is. Feels good to support a small independent business trying to hard. All the food Full of flavour. Get the dosa’s they were incredible!

Never fails to deliver, the food at Travelcore is so varied, interesting and delicious, portion sizes are generous and staff couldn't do more! I recommend the fish fry which is my personal favourite starter and if you like prawns the Neeruli is out of this world for main!!! Try all of the breads too, all so different and delicious. Thanks again Travencore, we'll be back again soon!

We are a group of nine that came to Scotland for gold and whiskey/scotch tasting. We made reservations kinda last minute. We walked into a busy Tuesday evening crowd. We thought we would have to wait. They had everything arranged for us right when we got there. The service was awesome and the food was even better. Great experience!! I took home leftovers and they even made more rice for me to take home. Great experience... thank you!

Attentive fast service, asked for slightly hotter curry (madras) on one of their specials and they delivered exactly as requested (unlike some curry houses that get confused between madras and phaal)- excellent fresh food!

Superb flavoursome food. Each dish was excellent. Generous portions, amazing flavours. Takes me back to my time in India with the authenticity of the flavours. Great service and a nice environment. Will be a new favourite for sure.

Best Indian in Aberdeen. Hands down. South Indian style so no British-indian-restaurant style food but you will definitely find something to enjoy here.

Extremely disappointed with the lentil fritters (uzhunnu/medu vada). They were nothing like the authentic version — filled with carrots, completely lacking in spices, and tasted absolutely horrible. There was no flavour at all. It felt like eating bland dough. Total waste of money. Definitely wouldn’t order again.

What a lovely place to eat! Such friendly and knowledgeable staff helped make the choice of food easy- I went for the non veg Thali and was so impressed- fresh and flavourful. Highly recommended.

Excellent South Indian restaurant. Delicious food including various superb fish curries. Great veggie choice. Lovely staff. Only other people eating there were of Indian descent, always a good sign. And good value too. £82 for 4 of us, including drinks. And we were stuffed!

Absolutely superb meal. We went for lunch. I had a vegan curry with okra and my husband had mutter panneer. We also had some very awesome pancakes. The service and atmosphere were excellent and the food was lovely. Will definitely go back.

This is the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. Myself and partner went in at 7pm and got a table for two, we were sat down immediately then ignored for 15 minutes before we were given menus and asked if we wanted drinks. We ordered a small starter to share and two mains, two rices and a bread. The starter arrived pretty quickly but after over an hour (not exaggerating) I approached the server to ask where our food was. It was slightly busy but there was still empty tables and during the hour since we had order tables had come in, got their food and left. Anyway I mentioned we’d been waiting over an hour and where was the food, I was told oh yeah sorry don’t worry it’s on our way. After the table next to us which had come in at the same time as I approached the server got their mains I went up again and asked where the food was. The server apologised and was vague about when it was arriving, then the manager (I’m assuming) came out and said it’s busy and foods on our way. I said we don’t want it and we are leaving, I offered to pay for the drinks and starter which they gave us for free. We were one hour and 45 minutes and ruined our evening as we had plans to do something which left us very little time to do as we were still hungry and went elsewhere. What’s worse is due to our work schedule this was our valentines night we were having a week early and our entire plans were ruined. The restaurant itself had nice decor and the other tables food smelt and looked nice but I can’t confirm whether that was the case. Personally I will never try this place again because the service and experience was abysmal and there are lots of other restaurants in Aberdeen worth your time and money.

Served stale chicken biryani. Chicken was in a bad shape and when we raised this to the server she said sorry the person in the kitchen is new. Thats all!! No service hospitality courtesy of offering a replacement of dish or discount on the dish just a sorry for the plight of their kitchen. Kindly adjust... brilliant... shame!!

If you are looking to have authentic Kerala cuisine, look no further. Love their seafood platter and all the dishes. Easy table booking. Good customer service.

Kerala food was delicious, I highly recommend it! Service was great and fast. It was pretty packed, so maybe make a reservation. We ordered ahead and picked it up. Parking was a bit tough, but we risked parking on a side street to grab our food.
