I used to go here a few years ago and it was fine. As everything is now automated, you don't see the meal until they have finished prepping it. I bought a saucer sized plate of tired slaw and 5 small dried chicken pieces for £8.50. It looked and tasted like student leftovers. I'll never go again.

I frequent the other branches and never had an issue but this was awful. First and last time here! I ordered the chicken and broccoli box. Service is painfully slow. Staff were not as friendly as other branches. The best part is I get back to the office with brown stale and off broccoli. I did not have time to walk back so chucked it in the bin. Surely the staff could have seen this? Are you allowed to do this? Will not go back to this branch. I know they were busy at lunchtime but this is no excuse as it could make people ill.

Es muy agradable tener un restaurante de comida rápida y saludable súper rápido y conveniente. Me adapté rápidamente al sistema de pedidos de autoservicio (no tenemos nada como esto en SA). fabulosa selección también. Sucedí que tenía la madre de todas las resacas y quería devolver algo de bondad, seleccionando un plato caliente, pollo (curry adicional) con mi colega pidiendo un plato frío, anacardo y pollo al curry. Sabrosamente salvándonos de nuestro lamentable estado. El personal fue amable, es un sistema sin efectivo, el área es moderna, limpia y lo mejor de todo es que abundan los materiales reciclados. Me encantó el concepto.

La idea DEBE funcionar. Pero mi ensalada de halloumi era bastante normal. Para ser justos, el elemento de la ensalada en sí fue lo suficientemente justo: fue principalmente el halloumi que de alguna manera han logrado hacer relativamente insípido y gomoso. ¡No estoy seguro de cómo!

I used to go to Tossed for lunch very often, but my recent visits have been disappointing. Something's not quite the same about the salads, and the recently introduced Turkey balls are inedible.

My husband and I stopped in for a quick dinner last week. We ordered at the kiosk and easily customized a bowls. Great tasty options and fast service.

I used to use Vital Ingredient before Tossed bought them. I now won’t use Tossed again. The prices have rocketed. I visited today, removing sweetcorn and adding Mozzarella to a salad costing £7.43. The price then rocketed to £9.70. This is a disgrace and equates to a few balls of Mozzarella costing approximately a 3rd of the price. On top of this you cannot order via a human and worse of all you are given a cringe inducing celebrity name to identify your order by. I want food, not a juvenile, utterly unfunny gimmick. Such a shame as the food’s good but the rip off prices and cringey ordering is awful.

An inviting lunch eatery which offers a touchscreen to order food. The concept is decent and staff and very helpful although everything is very straightforward. Receipts are fun with each being given a celebrity name that is in turn called out to pick up. The issue is the small portions of food - the Thai curry is in a mini carton which is less than adequate for lunch. The quality of the sauce was watery unfortunately. The wraps dripped with the over the top sauce. Salads were salty. The 3 meals costs in excess of 15 GBP. If you are hungry, avoid.

Tossed is part of a chain - which I have mixed feelings about in many cases - but this is a good one. It's obviously well run, and the staff are really cheery and helpful which is lacking in a lot of chains. So, no reasons to avoid this one! They specialise in salads and you order on little touch screens in the shop. I found this a tad difficult at first, but soon got used to it and the advantage is you can order just what you want without keeping a queue of people waiting while you decide I suppose! And the salads are really good - lots of variety, and everything is fresh and good quality (though the chicken is a bit watery and flavourless - I would avoid that). And having paid, the salad appears within a very short space of time, and is mixed in front of you by a helpful staff member. I've not tried any hot dishes yet, maybe I will when the heatwave in Britain eases off! It's all been carefully thought out and works well. I'll be going there again.

Tossed is my go-to for a healthy lunch when I forget to bring something in. Their food is tasty and healthy, and naturally they have loads of vegetarian options. The staff at the Clerkenwell branch are always super helpful and friendly whenever I go in. There are so many places in the area you could spend half your lunch break queueing for some food so the online ordering option is a real bonus.

The Tossed concept is very simple - order via their in-restaurant iPad menus and your meal is freshly made to order; then you can eat in or take away. Staff teams are consistently helpful (I've been to a number of their branches so feel qualified to say this), helping to make this a positive experience for local, time-poor workers, en-route travellers and those with time to kill who want to eat in and enjoy the bright decor. Tossed's hot bowls and cold salads are equally tasty and imaginative with new additions arriving frequently enough to keep regulars keen and happy. Portions are generous and, perhaps unsurprising, it looks after veggies as well as meat-lovers equally well. Worth at least visit or two, for sure!

I was super impressed with the tablet ordering and food collection process of ordering at Tossed. The food tastes great and the innuendo marketing in the place is hilarious. Recommended for a quick and healthy lunch.

Stopped here for a quick breakfast. They have a good selection of smoothies, shakes, and breakfast bowls. I had an egg combo bowl that came with scrambled eggs, pint nuts, pesto, grape tomatoes, and fresh spinach. It was a nice change from the traditional English breakfast offerings! I also tried the Strawberry Fields fresh juice which was delicious. They have tables where you can sit or just get takeaway.
