Tortilla Derby in Derby

The food was disappointing. There was just rice, tiny bit of meat and sweet sauce. Beans, cheese, sour cream, vegetables, jalapenos, pickled onions, salsa, spicy sauce WERE MISSING. It’s not what we paid for. Won’t buy from this restaurant again. Waste of money!

Always perfect with every order! Burritos are huge too! Definitely worth the price, the meal deals are really good value. Very happy and will order again! Brilliant that you have lots of plant based options too!

We paid for guacamole and had no sour cream dips with the quesadilla or shredded red onion with the burritos as ordered on the burrito. Also the food was not warm and small portions. The large burrito was the size of a regular we’ve had before from elsewhere. Very disappointing

Order Cancelled After Delivery Was Due I made an order at 19:19 for a 20:00 delivery At 20:09 my order was cancelled because they closed. So 9 minutes *after* the delivery time they cancelled my order. No warning and no resolution. Frustrating they didn't prepare the order before they closed for a 20:00 delivery.

Really dry, bland and disappointing. Seems this Derby branch can’t put a nice burrito together. For £30 the food was cold and awful quality. Will pass next time. I’ve tried the same burrito in another branch and it was made properly, this wasn’t even close. Awful.

Ordered at 12:20 didn’t arrive till 13:50, the restaurant said the just eat took it ages ago. The deliver driver said he only just picked it up

Food was STONE COLD. Congealed cheese sauce. Where were the roasted vegetables and monterey cheese? Just eat need to monitor these eateries better and offer refunds. If I had received this in restaurant, I would not of paid for it. Not good mexican.

It was my son and I first time at Tortilla, we didn't fully understand the ordering process. We are both on the autism spectrum so can find these things quite overwhelming. I explained the guy behind the counter (Mitchell) that I wasn't sure what I was doing. He walked my son and I through the whole process and assisted us all the way down the line, even though it was really busy! Amazing service! Will definitely come back!

Everything was smooth and easy with this order, courier even found my building no problem. I love that I can order a meal with no bread that is still delicious and filling (Naked Burrito) and have it delivered to me at work when I forget my lunch.

Ordered food for 12:45, never received. Tortilla said Just Eat delivery driver failed to collect food. Tortilla not bothered to inform customer - still waiting over an hour later. SHOCKING SERVICE FROM JUST EAT & TORTILLA. STAY CLEAR!

Went for lunch today. Queue was smaller than everywhere else so I was a little bit sceptical - but the staff were really fast to serve us! Great food too!

No cash payments is ridiculous. Over priced mini wraps not crunchy tacos. Extra for everything then put on my bald wrap £1.30 for a teaspoon of guacamole. Won't be coming again. Very disappointed.

I was given a regular sized option and the pork was quite fatty which I’ve never experienced from tortilla before. Usually a huge fan but a bit disappointed today with my order.

If I could give this 10 starts I would, best burrito I’ve ever had and even the churros, thank you so much, it was amazing!🫶🏼

we spent I'm my opinion alot for what we got. missing a naked burrito for a start. £10.75 hoping to be refunded. everything was leaking from the correct item that was delivered. this is why I try and avoid chained but I'm sad to say we fancied a mexican today. a shame the smaller companies were not open because I am sure it would have been made with more pride and not in a shopping centre, production line chucking it all together.

A big shout out to Ollie, Josie and Ruby for the amazing time and for treating my two kids when I came in on my birthday. The burrito was absolutely fantastic and I'll definitely be returning for some more. Josie who was the manager on the day helped me troubleshoot issues I had with signing up on the website and her manner and patience were second to none. Thank you to you all for putting a smile on my kids' face and on mine too on my birthday.

I got the wrong order, I ordered double beef but I got an order with chicken on it

What a terrible eating establishment. You pick a product off the menu and then literally even single think your asked if you would like is and extra charge. Ridiculous. Imagine going to subway and being given a cob and then charged for every item you want to put on it. Today was the first and last time I will be eating there.

Id happily say this is one of the best places for burritos and burrito bowls, i like mine fairly simple, so the option to make your own is perfect for me, you definitely have a new customer within me and im so glad i found this place, 5 stars from me easily xx

No idea how they’re still open. Big fan of Tortilla so was excited to see them arrive in derby, but nothing but disappointment. Every delivery we’ve had has been incorrect , no exaggeration.. every single one… and even when you go to the store the staff are just completely useless. Such a shame, after giving them many many chances despite getting it wrong every time we’ll no longer even entertain the idea of ordering from here. The delivery we’ve just had, not only were the meats wrong in both our orders, but the rice was rock hard.. wasn’t anywhere near cooked and everything we said to leave out the orders was included and things we paid for as extras weren’t even in there .. Absolutely terrible place, they need to change, and quick.

The ingredients used are superb, the meat was perfect, everything tasted fresh, the sauces, rice and beans tasted great. There was plenty of choice for toppings and ingredients and Quality ingredients were used, the food was great and service was friendly and fast. The price was reasonable. Would definitely reccomend.

Placed order at around 8pm was advised will be with me between 8:25-8:40pm. Got to around 8:50 and showed that the driver is waiting at the restaurant for the food to be picked up. 9:10pm still no movement and driver was still showing at the resturant. I tried to call the resturant who showed that they shut at 9pm so could not get through to them. Gave it another 10 mins so 9:20 (almost an hour an half after I placed the order) driver is still showing with no movement. No further updates. I gave up, went across the road spent £40 on another take away assuming nothing was going to happen. Got to 9:30pm and the driver shows up! In-accurate and cold! Really not fair as a consumer to be left high and dry for so long and then we receive such sub standard food. I require a full refund! We planned to have dinner as a family and your timings totally ruined my evening.

The food was never delivered and the driver never called me. He obviously couldn't find the location as I watched him drive around the area multiple times and has now just marked the food as delivered. Fire this idiot immediately.

PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE VEGETARIAN/VEGAN!!! I've been here once before and the burrito was amazing! I came here again last Friday and had the absolute opposite experience.. I ordered beans, veggies, sour cream, cheese and medium hot sauce. After a few bites I bit something that had the consistency of chicken chunks. I thought it might be veggie chicken pieces so just took/spat those bits out cause I didn't want to risk it. Near the end I tasted something hard and spat it out... It was a bone ... I have never had this kind of experience from any other fast food chain and was absolutely disgusted. I even asked the person serving me if things were veggie and they said yes so it's even more of a pis*take. I will NEVER be going here again and will tell all my veggie friends to avoid. Edit: omg completely forgot to add- one of the people serving me fished out what looked like a small chocolate bar shaped thing out of the refried beans pot (idk if it was plastic or smth) which I thought was weird but thought nothing really of it at the time

I thought the large burrito meal was quite expensive and was very disappointed when it arrived and there was barely any chicken in it. The taste was fine but not really what I ordered, only found two bits of chicken in the whole burrito.
