An amazing Burrito, a big thank you to Ruby for talking to us out in the food court, showing us the menu and helping to make the decision to go to Tortilla. It was absolutely the right choice and a taste sensation:)

No idea how they’re still open. Big fan of Tortilla so was excited to see them arrive in derby, but nothing but disappointment. Every delivery we’ve had has been incorrect , no exaggeration.. every single one… and even when you go to the store the staff are just completely useless. Such a shame, after giving them many many chances despite getting it wrong every time we’ll no longer even entertain the idea of ordering from here. The delivery we’ve just had, not only were the meats wrong in both our orders, but the rice was rock hard.. wasn’t anywhere near cooked and everything we said to leave out the orders was included and things we paid for as extras weren’t even in there .. Absolutely terrible place, they need to change, and quick.

It was still new when I visited but the food was really good.

Burrito not taste like burrito was wet tortilla not recommended to expensive Costco selling better burrito and for this price you get 4 of them.

Tasty burritos need to try more there

The ingredients used are superb, the meat was perfect, everything tasted fresh, the sauces, rice and beans tasted great. There was plenty of choice for toppings and ingredients and Quality ingredients were used, the food was great and service was friendly and fast. The price was reasonable. Would definitely reccomend.

PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE VEGETARIAN/VEGAN!!! I've been here once before and the burrito was amazing! I came here again last Friday and had the absolute opposite experience.. I ordered beans, veggies, sour cream, cheese and medium hot sauce. After a few bites I bit something that had the consistency of chicken chunks. I thought it might be veggie chicken pieces so just took/spat those bits out cause I didn't want to risk it. Near the end I tasted something hard and spat it out... It was a bone ... I have never had this kind of experience from any other fast food chain and was absolutely disgusted. I even asked the person serving me if things were veggie and they said yes so it's even more of a pis*take. I will NEVER be going here again and will tell all my veggie friends to avoid. Edit: omg completely forgot to add- one of the people serving me fished out what looked like a small chocolate bar shaped thing out of the refried beans pot (idk if it was plastic or smth) which I thought was weird but thought nothing really of it at the time

Nice food enjoyed it. Qesadilla portions could be bigger as they were Elf size portions, burritos were massive though.

Overpriced! For a small burrito cost around £10 they charged every filling they put in wrap.

Went for lunch today. Queue was smaller than everywhere else so I was a little bit sceptical - but the staff were really fast to serve us! Great food too!

Fast customer service even during the busy lunch time rush. Worker was very polite too. Burrito was VERY full and tasty. Brownie was lovely!

Overly priced just to get soggy, messy and tasteless burritos. Absolutely terrible. Burritos mainly filled with rice and hardly any meat, not to mention they missed out the cheese in the burritos, which we ordered (it's such an important component it made them taste bland without it). Do not recommend whatsoever it is not worth the money. There are far more superior Mexican takeaways in Derby.

Mitchell made me, the best burrito I’ve ever had from tortilla. He is an intuitive salesman (will get the cheese sauce every time now). If it wasn’t weird I’d have asked for his shift pattern and made sure I only come in on those days.

Love this place! The food is so good, I go here almost everyday. Excellent customer service and great vibes.

The first girl that served me was really polite. She wore gloves on both hands as she started prepping my order. Then she passed it on to a second person who handled my food, wrapped the burrito and put it in foil wearing only one glove 🤢 I had no idea what she had been touching beforehand, so when the burrito was fully prepped and passed to me, I paid and left. As I was on my lunch break I didn't have time to wait around to discuss the issue and try to get a refund, so when I got back to work I threw the burrito away. Cleanliness and sanitation should be at the forefront of any food place, and to handle food with your bare hands is vile.

Different options with and without the wrap. Standard prices but there are lots of options which are all "extra" so a medium burrito can be really expensive for what it is. Does serve alcohols as well and seated area is communal in the food hall.

So disappointed , a menu that was really small portions and advertised at £7 ended costing £10 Go to panchos burritos in Manchester that’s a good one

Great service from the Derby team! Greeted on arrival by Mitchell! Went through the whole process throughly. Then Lyndz took over my order and continued down to the where I choose the cold fillings. My order was finished by a guy called Phil. Really great service from start to finish. Can't wait to return! Really enjoyed my burrito 🌮 🌯

I was looking forward to a burrito at Tortilla having picked up a menu on their opening day. However, having opted for roast veg version and selecting my rice and bean options, I was then told there were no vegetables! And then, shock horror, no guacamole 🥑☹️ So just rice and beans for me!

Brilliant experience at the brand new Derby Tortilla! The pressure of opening at a weekend and being thrown in head first, the staff were still kind and courteous and the food was fantastic. Very happy Tortilla have come to Derby - I’ll definitely be back.

Food was nice but many extra 1 pounds top ups. Need to either consider giving free or reduce to 50p.

Went with my parents for the free opening. Glad it was free as none of us we would pay for a meal there. It wasn't hot in temperature but hot in spice. Very filling which is good but went cold too quickly - ate it in the food court so should have stayed hotter. The entertainment was loud so I couldn't hear what the staff were saying to me. Staff seemed nice.

I usually go to the one in Birmingham when I'm there, now the one in derby is open I have one alot closer. The food is delicious and the staff were polite. For it being opening day and the queues went down pretty fast and the entertainment was awesome!

Really tasty burrito- even more so as it was free on their grand opening! Loved the mariachi guys too. Burrito was a bit messy but to be expected and made up for how good it tasted
