Tortilla Belfast in Belfast

Been wanting to try this for a long time so I opted to try a burrito for lunch. The decor and atmosphere seem fine but the portion size for an £11 burrito leaves a lot to be desired. Bite after bite was just rice, bit of veg, some black beans and if you're lucky, it might taste of meat although it's difficult to say as when deconstructed, there was a small lump of meat in the middle. Looked to be about a spoon or 2. The guac and salsa were all at the bottom (hence the need to deconstruct) The tortilla wrap was very soggy and fell apart when opening it so I had to scoop it into a bowl. I would advise to get a burrito bowl rather than a wrap. That way you can instantly see if you're being short changed. I'm hoping it was a one off so will give them another shot at some point.

As the name says “Real California Burritos and Tacos “. I assure it does have Real California taste. This was a pleasure trip for my family. We are coming from California and love eating Mexican food. This place did the justice.

Amazing place. The portions are generous and nice taste, just probably a bit too salty. I love the various options, not having to pay extra for certain items is a bonus. I had gotten it delivered for the first time and they were lovely enough to leave a note along with my meal. Would recommend :)

Great location, nice food, good mixed bowls with salad, beans, rice and homemade guac. Kids options were ideal for our 9 and 5 year olds, custom made with the bits they like.

Best burrito ever and the staff are friendly

Overall the bowl was okay but there seemed to be some over cooked rice that had stuck together and burnt which made for a really strange and unexpected texture. Enjoyed the cheese sauce and nachos. Did ask for no peppers due to a severe intolerance to them but they still featured despite only requesting onions. Not sure I would order again for the price. Have had other Mexican restaurants more reasonably priced do it better.

Better and nicer than Boojum. Should offer wooden cutlery instead of metal forks. Apart from that, I'll be here again.

Everything was there and it was delicious!

My first time trying here and I ordered a vegetarian burrito bowl, even though I'm not a strict vegetarian any more. WOW! The container was full to the brim, everything was so fresh and full of flavour - even the rice, which I sometimes feel is just a 'filler' in these types of dishes. It blows the local 'burrito big-boy' (Boojum) out of the water imho. I can't wait to try other items on their exciting menu. The staff too were equally awesome as they helped me access my online purchase in order to 'collect' it cos my phone battery had died. Honestly, try out this place!

Why send ur dip is such a a small portion but in a very large container

Soooo happy my spouse and I passed this place in Belfast. Excellent fresh food, delightful employees, and better than any other Mexican food I’ve had in Ireland. Highly recommended!!

Food cold and didn't taste of much

This place is amazing! Every bite is full of flavour and you can differentiate between the different elements on your plate. I love the salsa verde, it packs a delicious punch that isn’t overpowering like some other places I’ve been too. Kate and Kevin were on the food counter when we came and service was great, they were both attentive and patient while I made up my mind. Amazing staff and a great atmosphere overall!

this is the second time I have ordered from this place it have been five star both times full of proper authentic Mexican flavour it's about 7 miles away from me but they are still delivering no worries. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ if you like your mexican food I would highly recommend this place

What a lovely find! After we had walked our feet off, my daughter and I went into Tortilla! Talk about service with a smile, total legends at the counter joking with my daughter and even letting her try bits before adding to her food. Then we sat down to eat…. Delicious! Burrito’s and nachos. Best we have had! Too filling for either of us to finish! What a lovely place! Thanks guys

Delivery was quick but I ordered a chicken salad burrito bowl that unbelievably came without any salad. Was just rice beans and chicken. Pricey enough without this. Tried ringing and no answer and no voicemail

We did not receive the correct food according to the order, we ordered 1 burrito and a burnt edges bowl. Received 2 burritos.

Been a few times foods always great and quick. Was great as usual hut had a 8minute wait on pork as well as a few minutes on sauces which isnt a good look.

Top class burritos wrapped professionally so they don't immediately fall to pieces when opened lol, friendly staff and great value for money!

The delivery was on time. The quesadilla was way way too salty and inedible because of this.

Its not good value. The hot cheese sauce was barely even lukewarm on arrival and not spicy. Quesadillas are a bit bland too.

Love this place. Wee bit dear, aye, but nicer food than any other Mexican takeaway, and they even kindly make my chorizo near-burnt when I ask them to (which is every time!).

Food was kinda lukewarm, bits of it cold. There was barely a spoonful of chilli meat in there. Portion size not good at all for the price and it was a little bland. Still hungry.

Regular Tortilla customers but our first time here and our first Tortilla since my son was diagnosed as coeliac. Staff were brilliant - everything wiped down and clean gloves used before serving. Everything on the menu is gluten free apart from the wraps and further allergy information available online. Thank you!

Went in originally wanting a beef taco, they let me know they had none left. When I was unsure what to do as I'd never tried the chicken or pork options, a member of staff immediately offered me to sample both. Another member off staff also let me try the sauce before I picked it. Staff were absolute gems and the food was really good. Edit: went in again for a second time and yet again the staff were phenomenal, my only critics would be there should be a decent bit more meat per serving and coriander should be an option, other than that great wee spot

JD was the person attending us and make us feel very welcome as a Spanish couple visiting Belfast. The food was spot on and with the price. Would recommend 10/10 We had 2 burritos and nachos to take away. The nachos topping were given in different containers for the nachos but to be soggy and the burritos on their own are enough to feed an adult.

Food was FREEZING. Driver didn’t share his delivery location. Originally told me it would be delivered at 11.55, didn’t arrive until 12.10 and was so cold :( annoying because a burrito can’t be reheated. First time trying tortilla and will definitely not be rushing back - will stick to boojum!!
