Boojum in Belfast

Have stopped going here due to certain staff being very unfriendly and the chaotic atmosphere when it's busy. It's usually very busy so messy serving area, overworked staff, feel rushed and mistakes are made (and not dealt with in an acceptable way).

Food was good and staff friendly

This was the first time as a family we tried authentic 😘🖤🤍🤍🖤🇨🇺🇨🇷🇮🇱🇵🇸😘🇵🇷 Tex MaaaaaHeeeeToooo food. The only thing 😉 about this franchise and the other one across the Border into the Republic of Uppity Anglo-Indians. Is that the dishes are always lukewarm. As a eat in meal. order never arrived. app didn't update - stuck at order received till it updated in the app 90mins later to order delivered. no contact information for the driver or the company (just eat) to contact to sort this. ended up getting no food as my lunch break was over. possibly one of the worst service experiences I have had and I will not use this app again. I expect a full refund and an apology would also be in order.

the burrito would've been nicer if it had of been edible. We asked for sour cream but instead got a burrito swimming in salsa rota and the red chili's were there to prove it. Used to order all the time, thought we'd try it again. Won't be back.

Queued up ordered my food got all the good stuff on it got to till told sorry we don’t take cash and refused my payment in cash as I had no card on me very disappointing service to get all the way to till o sorry no cash it’s legal tender Absolute disgrace

told it was going to be delivered by around 6:10 then i didn't recieve it till 6:40. food was cold and burrito ripped. was called and told my courier was here, he was not, then i was left on hold for a good while. the delivery time was constantly fluctuating and took fair too long.

Staff not overly interested in customer service at all and workstations are usually a total mess. They are very conservative with their toppings and when questioned you’ll just get told to pay for extra despite the original portion being scarce. Can never hang your hat on the quality of the food either - sometimes itll be grand. Nowhere near the same care or quality, just a bit of a disaster.

been going her for a few year's, the price of food has nearly doubled and portion size halved, the food is good for what you get, staff need customer service training, as not very pleasant

This Boojum is definitely one of the freshest in Belfast.

Would call in here quite often, but not any more...unsure if you ever read these Maxie (I went to school with you), but this is the last business you'll ever get from me. Inconsistent food and portion size from a staff team that don't give a toss for the most part and the final straw was the pathetic size of burrito I was given for almost £9 today, almost half the weight / size of the usual order. If you have trainees that can't roll a burrito properly, don't put them on the main fillings station or at least have someone checking that they're not putting a pathetic amount of main ingredients in to regular customers' orders...because they won't be customers anymore.

Food was great, but I don't see the point in paying extra for dips with the tortillas if you don't even get them.

This was indeed the nicest meal that has ever entered my mouth hole. My body yearns for mexican rice and hot salsa. The new honey chicken so playful yet elegant. You are a bunch of woke haters on this site. Boojum is the work of god and each worker a servant of the almighty. Has been and always will be the pinnacle of south belfast.

Long time boojum fan but the whole experience has went noticeably down hill in recent years. Long queues in store with staff having to make takeaway orders in front of waiting customers. Rude staff telling waiting customers to wait outside instead of queuing inside as it’s “blocking seats”. Emphasis on telling and not asking politely. All whilst they can’t even service enough waiting customers to fill other seats not blocked by queue.

It was almost £30 for two of us... Very tasty but too expensive

They mixed up the order by putting fillings from burrito into bowl and the bowl into burrito. Didn't add guacamole or extra pork which was paid for. It was a pickup order that wasn't ready at the time, we were waiting in the shop 5 minutes before they said they didn't have hot Honey chicken which we also paid extra for. Disappointing as it was a treat after having been on a diet :(

Raging!! I ordered a bowl and burrito and what arrived was a disgrace. Half a bowl basically mainly rice and a skinny pathetic looking burrito. £20 (including one drink) absolutely ridiculous. The staff were more interested in chatting. Won’t be back to this boojum.

I specified in the order instructions to not include beans in my order, i received beans in my order which made it uneatable as Im allergic to beans

No more than a spoonful of chilli in the burrito bowl and the pork burrito had little pork both were mainly rice cant even be bothered opening other meal so disappointed £45 for mainly rice never again

Food took over an hour to get here and obviously had been sitting in the warming cabinet most of the time as the bowl was a melted pile of slop when it finally got here. Lid off the Queso had melted flat and half the Queso was down the side of the bowl

wrong order received, when I rang boojum they took a "not our problem" approach and blamed the just eat delivery driver. refused to reimburse me or send out the correct meal. have placed complaints to both boojum and just eat for poor customer service.

If I could leave no starts I would. DIDNT TURN UP. MANAGER TOLD ME TO CONTACT Just eat as there was nothing he could do because the driver must have stolen it.

Not as good as used to be. Sometimes not very warm and the quality of the likes of sour cream has went downhill. Very runny unlike proper thick sour cream.

Absolutely no structure when you arrive, no signage to tell you where to collect your order, you just have to stand awkwardly at the till until someone decides to come near you which doesn’t happen often. Complete shambles of a place. The staff are like robots, hardly any effort made to acknowledge you when you arrive or when talking to you. Finally after making eye contact with a staff member, I’m told my order is being prepped, even though the pickup time was well past now - why wouldn’t the order already be sitting ready to collect? Is that not the whole point of ordering online to avoid the wait and to beat the queue? After a long wait watching half of Belfast come in, queue up, receive their order and eat it, I head home with my food. Just when I get home I realise of course they have got one of the orders completely wrong. I mean how difficult can it be to read the order of the docket and make it? That was not the case this time, it wasn’t too busy and there was well enough staff working for this to happen. Food is absolutely unreal but there’s one dark haired guy who always looks so fed up and like he doesn’t want to be there when he’s working and it lets the place down. Other than that would recommend.

Terrible Customer Service Experience Date: Sunday 31 March 2024 Time: 20:35-20.45pm approximately. Branch: Boojum, Lisburn Road, Belfast. I had a terrible experience with one of the staff at Boojum , Lisburn Road, Belfast . Staff was very rude to start with and continued making things difficult when we were trying to order 3 burrito bowls takeaway. After few secs I took exception as I couldn't take any more of his behaviour and asked if i can speak to the Manager. I was initially told that the manager is on break, i told that i will wait and also asked for the complaining procedure. Offending employee further went on to use the 'F' word as well when we declined to continue with our order due to his behavior and waiting for the manager. I am sure all these are captured in your CCTV. After a few minutes one person from behind the counter came up and told that his name is Ross and he is the manager. I gave him the details of the incident and asked the complaining procedure and also asked to give the name of the employee so that i can refer it in my complaint. I was initially told that they cant give the names which was very surprising. I asked the person claiming to be manager of any proof to show that he was the actual manager as something didn't add up for me but was told that they don't have anything of this sort. If you watch your CCTV cameras for the date and time mentioned , you should get the offending employee details and his behaviour. Incidences like these in front of kids (11 year old and 8 year old) is unacceptable at this time and age. Sincerely hope some action is taken on the offending employee. I am happy to give further information about the incidence if you need.

Delivery was late and food was disappointing

2 items left off the order. Guacamole in the bowl, sour cream in the burrito. Meals dry as a result.

Delivery kept being delayed, got order 2 hours after order placed. Boojum very nice when called however, thank u for ur patience!

Food is brilliant but when you order online, they fully mess up the order. There have been several instances of this happening. Once they added chicken to my order when it was strictly mentioned that it is a pure vegetarian. They never fulfill their online order and when brought up with them, the staff is fully incompetent in dealing with the issue. Step up, you’ve got good food but learn to deliver it right.

My deliver is saying delivered at 16.05, it was due to be delivered at 13.45, shocking

Wraps are usually never very well wrapped. Always pay for extra sour cream and cheese and never get it. Food is tasty just needs a bit more care taken when preparing it so the wraps are more evenly distributed

Place has become very unpredictable. One time you'll go in and portions, food and staff are good Other days, tbh it's quite off putting Staff can be abrupt, won't listen and at times the portions are well below what they should be an mostly because they can't be arsed getting another tub of what ever was ordered. Plus the whole point and function of collecting at a time is... To collect at a time. Not to get there and watch sometimes up to 5 people be served an not a care or acknowledgement given. Just left standing like a twt

Top notch food. There for my child so her oppinion. Mexican isn't for me but it is a quality product that they serve.

MORE MEAT ON A BUTCHERS KNIFE. The food here used to be something and now it's all just rice with essence of meat. The extra beef I paid for was clearly pocketed because that was just a pathetic amount I received. I also stood in a queue for ages while they stopped serving actual customers in the restaurant and started to serve their just eat orders. Disgraceful service and the food is now rubbish. How the mighty have fallen. I'll stick with Indian food and Chinese food.

Was nice but not as good as it used to be. Staff aren’t particularly friendly and was very expensive. Got 2 kids portions (charged per item), one bowl and 3 drinks £26! Nice vibe in the restaurant but difficult to be parked nearby.

Great quality burrito fillings but sometimes they are rolled poorly and disintegrate, unlike superior Guapo burritos

While lacking the uniqueness it once had, boojum still maintains its quality. Friendly staff and decently full burritos as well as easy access. For convenience I would pick boojum but always have a look for your local burrito shop first. Atmosphere is nice if a little cramped but location is nice.

Ordered a burrito bowl from the Lisburn Road store this afternoon- absolutely disgusted when halfway through, I find an extremely long hair in the food.

Answer your phone!!! Especially if you're going to be 1hour late with a delivery. Making like it's deliveroos fault when your're the ones that are backed up and late to give out the food! and of course too busy to be professional enough to Answer the dam phone! Unacceptable.. cold quesedillas just great!

Ordered for Collection on a Friday after 6pm to minimise queuing in store as the place was busy enough. There is no structure to the collection system apart from to walk in and stand at the till until one of the staff acknowledges your presence which on top of, staff were a bit cheeky. The burrito bowl was not great at all considering the order was over £15, was 90% rice, barely any meat and no extras added which were paid for and not received. Won’t be back 👍

Never really have a bad thing to say about boojum, always had good service, I don’t often sit in so can’t speak much to the atmosphere. My one criticism would be that I wish the meat where seasoned a bit more. I like the meat don’t get me wrong but I feel they could be better. Apart from that I love the place and I will always be back for more. It’s a staple of Belfast.
