This is a lovely, inviting Italian restaurant. I was served by the manager and really enjoyed the carbonara and garlic bread that I ordered. He advised me that they make this the traditional way , ie without any cream , it was really delicious especially with the Parmesan cheese and a little black pepper.

From the outside this newly opened restaurant doesn’t look much at first. Bare white walls with a row of plastic plants hanging down from a high shelf. There’s no typical scenic murals, wine bottles and grapes hanging from the ceiling. There’s no Italian flags or oil paintings of Italian resorts on the walls. But don’t be deceived! This restaurant focuses on SERVICE and FOOD and WOW - it was superb. The service from the start was faultless and our hosts were brilliant. We had an 80th Bday meal with 15 of us and they looked after us like family. The food was delicious. Starters were great and the house Sicilian wine was superb. The fresh Sea Bream with tomato and caper sauce with potatoes was again absolutely delicious. In fact the best fish I’ve ever had. The lasagna looked nice too as did the risotto which is usually my favourite meal. I saw the pizzas from the other tables and they were big and authentic. Good luck for the future Topolino and staff, I’ll definitely be back and recommend you. Thank you again for looking after my mum and all of us.

Amazing service, Mario and Angelo were so charming and really lovely to my son (3), it made his holiday. The atmosphere overall was good, as was the food, but it was the service that elevated it from the surrounding restaurants and made our experience very special and truly memorable. I couldn't recommend it more highly.

The restaurant owner and team are absolute stars. Nothing is too much trouble, from food & wine recommendations to the fantastic service. You're always made to feel welcome! I've visited lots of times for lunch and dinner, the starter and main dishes are delicious, also the wine list is amazing, we continue to recommend to all our friends.

Hit and miss on food but staff very friendly. Starters were good but we feel are a little bit pricey. We had the calamari and bruschetta. For mains I had seafood pasta which was good, the lasagna was okay and a little bit dry. The T bone steak was massive but was a bit rare than what was ordered. Because it was thick, it was probably tricky to cook as it was toor are on the inside. The lamb cuts were good and the side veggies were food too.

Amazing! The best Italian food I have had in Hove, no need to waste your time going anywhere else in the city. This food is home made and delicious! Lovely place, staff cannot do enough!

We got a warm welcome from the restaurant manager and the own, we ordered starters and mains couses, delicious taste amazing food, see photos attach, and also had 3 pints beer and bottle of wine. Great value.

We had a delicious meal here. The scallop, pumpkin puree with black caviar was sublime. My main a lasagna was excellent although it could have been a tad hotter. Excellent service. We washed it done with two bottles of chianti. Finishing with a Port. Will definitely return.

I had a lovely meal here with family. We all really enjoyed the food especially the garlic doughballs, chicken milanese & spaghetti carbonara. The waiters were really friendly & chatty. Will definitely visit again soon.

I thought the pasta was truly terrible … tough, tasteless, and very hot … I didn’t see a chef in the kitchen and thought food might have been microwaved…I have had lovely Italian food in Hove … but not at Topolino.

Best in hove the top the food was delicious the chef was alfonso good chef the food fresh home made gnocchi with salmon was to die for and meat lasagna was delicious tri mi sui was like eating in naples but actually in hove the head waiter was in hove offered a drink on the house good service very busy well done topolino will be back

We really enjoyed our first visit here. The restaurant was so clean and modern yet comfortable and homely. The staff were so attentive and really made us feel relaxed. They were kind and welcome to the children. Service was quick. The food was delicious, very tasty indeed. We highly recommend, really delicious food with lovely staff who made us comfortable!!!

Great menu that has everything you would expect at an Italian restaurant! Food was delicious came relatively quick considering there was a large group being served before us. We were served by Sabrina who was brilliant. She definitely deserves recognition! We will definitely be back.

Visiting Brighton with family and we were walking on Church Street where we found Topolino. The food was amazing. Grilled octopus for starter was great and the seafood spaghetti was excellent. The staff are so cheerful and pleasant. A great evening was had by all.

Very tasty seafood spaghetti and excellent friendly service. Lovely interior and plenty more dishes to try next time. So I will definitely go back to try the rest.
