I ordered salt and pepper chicken wings and Sichuan squid at night, both were delicious! Originally, I was a little worried because there were no Chinese reviews, haha, but it tastes very good~

Best Chinese takeaway I've ever had in London. The szechuan beef was particularly delicious. Looking forward to ordering again.

DO NOT ORDER TAKEAWAY! Ordered from this place through Uber Eats, they took over 1.5h to deliver and in the end all we received was 2 out of the 6 items ordered and the driver saying they cancelled the rest!

While the food was good and portions acceptable for the price, the store itself is in desperate need of a renovation. I only had a brief look at the kitchen area (downstairs) from the top of the stairwell, but it looked reasonably hygienic. I recommend doing takeout or delivery for this establishment.

I've been eating here for mor ethan 5 years and they cook fresh food. But if you're not happy with something call them and they will sort it. Over the years only twice I've had issues and both times they have been amazing. Also if you have taste like me for example I like stuff bit more spicy let them know and they will accommodate!!! I really recommend their wholesome food ❤️

My favourite Chinese takeaway. Always ready in good time, delicious food, and very reasonably priced. It is a good mix of Chinese takeaway classics but also some Chinese dishes you only get in restaurants. E.g. the fish fragrant aubergines 😍. The curry sauce is perfectly balanced, not too sweet, not too salty, just right. Crispy duck pancakes are also fab. I would avoid the salt and pepper chips, there wasn't enough salt and pepper seasoning for me but it's impossible to get good salt n pepper chips outside the north!

Top Chef is fast becoming my go to Asian take away food for Stratford area,the shop is not flash but the service from phone ordering or instore is amazingly friendly,the prices & servings are great(personal favs is salt & chilli,roast duck or black bean!)can’t wait for my next visit,it’s just so yummy!MENU from dec’2023

Ordered food from Uber Eats. Food was delivered earlier than the time given (which was good). But there wasn’t much flavour in what I ordered. The food was ok, just not seasoned enough: Special fried rice Special chow mein Sweet & sour chicken balls Now, you can’t call a sauce sweet and sour without the sour. It tasted more sweet and wasn’t tangy as sweet and sour sauce should be. This is why I havs given 3 stars.

I order mix meat with rice. Charge me 8.50£. Half was vegetables. It was ready in less than 5 min. I was coming there lot, she knew i am not checking my food. Make sure you check what inside every time!!!

First time in my life that bbq sauce tasted salty, it was so annoying as the portions seemed good, also the chicken was extremely dry. The rice was decent though but unfortunately seeing the quality of the meat and sauce couldn’t feel comfortable eating it. (Edited review from 2021 to correct typos)

I live locally and have always walked past this place but never eaten from here until today. Pork with bamboo and mushroom was very good, all vegetables tasted fresh and crunchy. Chowmein on first glance didn't look appetizing, but oh my, it was very delicious. Overall loved the service and food!! Will definitely be coming back!!

Very nice family owned business. This is our goto Chinese place. Food is tasty and service is consistently great. The lady on the counter is a gem on customer service.

Egg fried rice has no egg it’s just browned rice, dry and hard, this has been the case too many times. Also they don’t wrap the food properly so sauce ends up in the cling film and bag. They say sorry but make no changes the next time will be the same.

The veg was fresh, but both the Singapore noodles and the vegetable curry were very bland, which was a shame. No sauce for the spring rolls.

I work away from home and I was stopping in Stratford, I didn’t want Maccys or KFC so I came across this place on Uber eats, after reading good reviews I placed and order… well I wasn’t disappointed with what I had.. very tasty food and good portions, I’ll be ordering again when in Stratford 👍🏻👍🏻

I wanted some Chinese food after my work & I went here. I ordered Bean Curd & Mixed Vegetable Soup & noodles. As you can see there was hair in the soup & the lady didn’t give me any cutlery. I am confused if the hair is part of the food. When I call the shop to inform that the lady told me that “ you don’t have any spoons at home?”. How incredible is her answer. I don’t know what to say. I went to other stores for cutlery.The noodles is tasteless and feels like it was made before head. The service is awful. I wanted some Chinese food not Chinese street treatments.

A1...Every dish that I have ordered from Top chef have been top class. My usual order is the house special chow mein, the amazing beef szechuan style and whatever takes my fancy.....The staff are always so polite, no decent comparisons within miles.

The box meal are a delight. Just had salt and pepper chicken with chilli and Singapore noodle and it was heavenly

I ordered as a new customer today. When I ordered the food I asked how long it would be and was told 45 minutes. I waited one hour and called them back to be informed that the delivery driver had left 18 minutes ago. Another 15 minutes passed before the delivery driver arrived at which point I said you may as well take the food back as it's cold because you left the shop over 30 minutes ago. The woman I talked to on the phone hung up on me twice. Wow this is how new customers are treated.

First time ordering from Top Chef. The food arrived within 1/2 an hour. It was hot, fresh and good portion sizes. The only negative is, it could do with a tad more flavour. Positives are, chicken balls and pork fried rice were not at all greasy, I've had some really greasy chicken balls and rice before. I would order from them again.

My first time trying out Top Chef food and they would get 10 stars there food is faultless, tasty and amazing. Definitely is my new go to and I highly recommend Top Chef to everyone. Salt n Pepper prawns and fried rice is the best. Thanks again Top Chef From Angie :)

Ordered on New Year's day - really friendly service from a family run business, food was brilliant (plenty of vegan/veggie options too) and on time. Recommended!

We ordered from Top Chef about 6 months ago and the food was horrible. we found out they had new owners so decided to give them another go and I can honestly say, I am genuinely amazed at the flavour and quality of the food. Always piping hot when it arrives, the ribs just fall off the bone and melt in your mouth, if you're not ordering from here then you're missing out, your belly deserves this food.

Don't know how this place as got any good reviews maybe they paid people or wrote it themselves . chicken wings fried in OLD oil dry no salt and pepper like I asked for. The ribs OMG dry greasy. I genuinely cannot believe this is their half roasted duck. So disgusting and the portion is like zero duck meat but duck bones! And it costs 17 pounds!

I order from this place regularly. Salt and pepper chicken is nice and crispy. Satay chicken skewer is a bit dry but the sauce is tasty. Can't fault for the cheap price and generous portion.

I don't understand the bad reviews here. We live opposite and collect food fairly regularly. The food is not overly oiled or greasy, the portions are great and they have a great range of veggie options. I'd recommend the tofu and black bean OR the singapore style noodles. The chips are also excellent, some of the best in the area (no joke).

Absolutely fuming, orderd at 6:45 and before I ordered I went into the shop to ask how long devlivery takes as I’m waiting to go out. Gentleman working stated 30 mins. Ordered at 6:45pm and asked how long it’ll be, he stated 40 mins and I said that’s fine. 40 mins past and I phone he said another 15 minutes. Phone back 15 minutes later and he said another 15 minutes. IM STILL WAITING - ABSOLOUTE JOKE AND I HAVENT EVEN BEEN OUT
