Popped in here for some food while waiting for The Smashing Pumpkins & Weezer gig. Chips were perfect, crisp on the outside and soft in the middle. The lady serving recommended I had the Irish curry sauce, so glad I listened to her. Me and my partner have not stopped thinking about it since we left!

Not going again-ever! Enormous queues, two staff. Don't expect your customers to invest in you if you refuse to invest in them.

Service used to be rapid on match day. Not enough staff on now and long queues develop.

Food wasn't nice we got rice and curry no taste to it at all fish didn't even taste like fish. Definitely wouldn't eat from here again

It's just disgusting. it's called Mr Mac's now but they still want to use Tony's stadium chippy which it isn't and had a very good name with fantastic food. We've been here a few times (3) since it changed hands and the food is consistent.... rubbish and tasteless, we always have fish and chips, the fish today was awful, it was watery, no taste, really didn't taste like cod, and the chips.. underdone and just awful. They've put a sign up saying 'don't have a go at the staff about the prices then they give some dubious examples of price increases, They've also taken down the price list. I know this place only gets busy on match days but when you do come to the Etihad STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. There are better fish and chip shops within a short distance!!!!

Can't fault this chipy, food is well cooked and a good selection. update it's now under new management and you can tell, i had fish and peas the fish was nothing to write home about and the peas were disgusting, the wife had meat pie chips and curry the only good thing was the pie, sadly i will not be going back. come back Tony pleeeeese

When you ask for salt and vinegar make sure you put enough on so the customer can taste it. Chips hard property reheated from last night's left overs. Won't be going here again.

Really good traditional chippy. Amazing pies, (Greenhalgh's) their cheese and onion is spot on. Nice fish and chips ),ate their alot over the years, now ordering on uber eats.

Without doubt the best chippy in Droylsden, maybe even Tameside as a whole. Don't get fooled by the long queues before a Man City game. The staff are super fast and you always end up getting served as quickly as possible. Price is good too. If you need further proof just check out how many people sit on the wall outside eating their takeaways. It's well worth a cold bum!

Pie was a bit iffy for me but overall 3 out of 5. Very busy and more expensive than others but it is right outside the ground so what can you expect. I didn't leave any so good for me!
