Tony Macaroni Kilmarnock in East Ayrshire

Booked a table for 4 at 6.30 . Not a bad time as it was not too busy . Fast and friendly service and a great menu ,excellent meal, forgot to take photos by the time I remembered it was all gone ! We will be back . There is plenty of parking and it is easily accessible

I was satisfied with my visit however when paying the bill I asked the staff member do they get the tips, the staff member never advised me there was already a service charge included on my bill. I added an additional £5 for a tip without being advised of the service charge which I think is important to be informed before making any payment. I don’t mind tipping but this was disappointing and misleading, having previously worked in hospitality it’s courtesy to let a member of the public know they are already being charged a service fee.

Must be one of the nicest Toni macaroni I've had nice well kept place for both a work get together or family meal credit to the chefs my cajuin chicken pasta was perfect and the other meals that we had looked fab ..will be back again I always tip at these sort of places and left a good one well Impressed 5stars

Really accommodating as they took a large party at short notice. Food was great, as was the service.

Although the food was tasty, we were rushed to eat and ending up taking half away because the amount of servers that kept approaching, hovering and asking how things were. Felt presurred and stress so didn't get to really enjoy the experience. Apon leaving one of the many servers had asked abruptly are you going your separate ways?, we felt like that was kind of an inappropriate random question. First time ever encountered a waitress asking slightly personal questions.

Food was bland and 3 dishes were look warm at best and 1 dish was cold. Waited over 1hr 30mins for mains to arrive. Clearly forgotten about as they scrambled to cook it but still couldn't get it right. Completely messed up what was supposed to be a mother's day treat.

Great place, really tasty. Lovely friendly, helpful staff.

We have been in several times and always service and food have been very good . I will be visiting again .

Spur of the moment out of all our regular restaurants we go to in Kilmarnock decided to try out TM. Food was lovely and the young person who served us was very informative. Our fellow diners were telling us what good value it was with the discount code which reflected on how busy it was. We explained to the front of house person that we had not booked a table as it was last minute choice but she point blank refused to offer any kind of discount even though we showed her an online discount offer. Despite enjoying what we had I doubt we'll go back anytime soon as probably paid twice what everyone else paid for the same food .

Booked for 2.30 had brought my granddaughter for her first time at Tony's she was excited to say the least sat for 25 minutes no server no drinks was not as busy as Thursday less staff the than there was today we got up and left she was pretty disappointed as was I so won't be visiting there for a while had a great experience on thursday served by Paul superb service couldn't be more helpful. Staff today pretty disorganised and rude.

Coffee was disgusting . Left at the table better going to KFC Across the road .

Went here with my family on a Saturday. I expected it to be really busy but it wasn't which was a red flag. Food was mediocre at best and service was slow and a bit over the place as 2 of our orders were wrong. Ordered 2 cocktails which were flooded with ice. Unfortunately won't be returning ☹️

We got a carry out from this place . The hardest thing was trying to attract a workers attention in the carry out section as there was no one working in at this part . The workers were working on tables. Regardless of chapping very hard on the glass to attract somebody’s attention nobody could hear due to the background music being too loud. I had to come from the carry out part of the building in to the resteraunt area to let them know I had been waiting on someone coming to serve me. The carry out food was good as usual but poor service from the workers.

I have been to many Tony Macaroni restaurants this is one of the worst. We ordered our food and half of it was late. My meal was missed and not even sent to the kitchen. I spoke to one of the waiters to only be told I will put it through now - no apology or nothing. The meal took ages after my family had completely finished eating for her to ask me to package it. I spent money on this food and the service has not good enough. Do better. I rather travel to glasgow than return here again.

Great food and lovely atmosphere, the only downside is I have visited twice now and both times no tiramisu on both occasions , this desert is a main dish of Italy and you have the cheek to run out Poor service from kitchen

I've been to different Tony Macaroni restaurants in my time, with varying degrees of quality. I thought it time to try again and see if things had improved. Where they had in a lot of places, the major one was a bit of a letdown. The place in Kilmarnock has a decent vibe and the staff were nice and friendly, so there's no complaints in either of those areas. The sides were pretty good too, but my partner and I both ordered the lasagne and it was just £12 worth of bland. There was beef and tomatoes, which we'd expect, but any signs of cheese or white sauce was non existent, resulting in what equated to a Bolognese with sheets of pasta through it instead of actual pasta shells. Is it normal practice for there to be no cheese or sauce to speak of? The tomatoes were so overpowering you couldn't taste the rest of it and when we went to season our sides there wasn't even any salt in the salt shaker. I tried the one on the table next to me and it was the same. I'm not joking when I say I've eaten a lasagne out of Aldi that tasted better. For me, regardless of how nice the staff were, that's the last time I EVER go to a Tony Macaroni. If you can't even get lasagne right, what's the point? We ate it because we were paying for it, but out was the most bland food I've ever eaten at a restaurant. I feel for the good attentive staff, but that meal spoilt it. Sorry.

Waited 40 minutes on our food. I had seen a calzon pizza sitting under there hot light waiting on a waiter for atleast 15 mins and sunrise surprise it was mine. It was cold and as tough as an old boot. The manager looked well stressed and was even in the kitchen at one point. Spent 100 pounds on a below average meal. It was a visit for my daughters birthday or I would have complained. Sorry will not be back

The menu was incredibly confusing but what we did manage to understand was definitely worth it.

Lovely staff. Pizza lovely and reasonable priced but over the top prices for extra toppings.

Had a great family meal at Tony Macaroni. Main dishes are well priced on the Presto menu.

The atmosphere was great, service was amazing, unfortunately the pasta I had was too salty.

Myself, partner and my son came yesterday. The food was very bland. I had lasagne and could tell it was cheap and was just microwaved and their was no garlic bread or anything with it. You only just get the lasagne. No taste and unappetising. My partner had stuffed crust pizza and was the same, bland. And the stuff crust was not good at all, almost like cheap cheese has been melted and put in and my sons wasn't upto much either. And since last night my son and me have been very unwell. Think management need to go in and reevaluate their food and how it is prepared. Won't be back.

Just had an order from this place, food was cold, ordered spaghetti bolognase and garlic bread, the garlic bread was literally just bread and didn’t taste a thing like garlic and the spaghetti bolognaise tasted disgusting and very similar to an Asda ready meal or the tinned heinz one, won’t be ordering again, complete waste of money and over priced for what it is

Just received an order through just eat, I got spaghetti bolognese which was look warm and had no flavour to it what so ever. It tasted like a cheap own brand you would get from any supermarket or tinned heinz bolognese. The garlic bread was rock solid and no taste of garlic at all. Don't waste your money

Good service and welcome. I am starting to see the limitations in the menu, but if you are looking for local Italian dishes and affordable prices, it is good.

Having previously visited other Tony Macoroni venue's we were looking forward to coming here but we were disappointed. Soup was tastless and lacking in seasoning. Meatballs were overcooked and garlic bread was near burnt. Don't think we will be back. Also 6.5% service charge automatically added to bill then when you pay by card they ask if you want to pay a 10,14 ir 30 % tip . . . . . I Don't think so.

The best pizzas in Ayrshire! We love our food, and it’s hard to get a nice pizza. The pizza chef did a wonderful job with our order. Especially with a Vegan/ Diary Free pizza! I was so happy to get a delicious mean. Highly recommend, everyone had big smiles on their faces and the staff were lovely.

Food was OK. Over use of garlic on some grey soggy mushrooms and none on the anaemic garlic chips we ordered. Couldn't stop laughing at the prawn cocktail. It was lettuce with a couple of prawns. Nearly £20 for some boiled rice and a few prawns. For the prices they charge you wouldn't think would serve frozen chips. Wish went over to the Chinese buffet. Should have known wouldn't be up to much when place was empty on Friday night

Great place with fast service and lovely food.

Staff were lovely and it was clean however the food was disgusting I had a pool of oil at the bottom of my plate and the pizza tasted like cleaning products

It's ok. It's expensive for what it is. In the photo is two plates of macaroni kids and adults portions were pretty much the same size, adult portion was far too small

One of the staff setting a table dropped a knife picked it up and put it down on the table,the manager picked up 2 ice creams by putting a forefinger in one tub and a thumb in the other sorry won't be back

Honestly wish I never bothered we went here for Mothers day. My mum ordered the chorizo pizza and couldn't find the chorizo the staff said that it was diced very fine and under the cheese, you would think the main ingredients of a pizza would be the star not hidden under cheese with no taste. My dad bought the cajun pasta and the portion size was half the size of my 4 year olds £7 macaroni cheese and he was charged £13 not a tiny bit of garnish or 1 slice of garlic bread it was a disgrace considering what pasta actually costs. We all had fries which were half cooked so most of them got left. All In all extremely disappointing, it also took 15 mins for my daughter to receive 1 scoop of ice-cream. After all the disappointment the bill came to £90 which they added a service charge 🤔 The one in kilmarnock reminds me of Frankie and Bennys and they didn't last long.

First time there at a Toni Macaonis, wll definately try again

First time at a Tony Macaroni and will not be rushing back. Can not fault the service, just the food. My pasta was lacking taste and the wifes burger was bone dry. It fell into one of those places that, "filled a hole". Went in with high expectations, but left in disapointment.

Food was okay, if not a little bland. Service was adequate, but nothing to shout out about. The atmosphere was dull and there was no "buzz" about the place. The location is ideal for a quick bite before attending the cinema (virtually next door), but I wouldn't choose to dine there otherwise after this visit.

We had lunch on Monday for 3. It was our friend's birthday. Brilliant service from very friendly and helpful staff so 5 stars to them! Also the food was great and plenty of it at their lunch prices which was amazing. We were there for 3 hours and not once did we feel hurried. Thank you Toni Macaroni - Kilmarnock! Fiona

One of the best pizzas you will get and if you go midweek and get the cheap menu it is incredible value. Highly Recommended.

We both had a lovely meal. I had mushroom risotto & hubs had spag carbonara. We shared garlic bread. Portions were massive! Yes you can have it boxed up. Adding our 2 soft drinks, we were just over £30 in total. The Sunday menu looks like a good deal. The same dishes would reduce the price by about £7 so makes sense 🇮🇹😋🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Mediocre food. Given they were busy, i give hospitality staff the benefit of the doubt when it comes to wait times etc. However the food wasnt very warm after a long wait for mains. Partner said their pasta was good, though. The young waitress we had was lovely and helpful, and was apologetic. Bar member was good too. However, the manageress was quite curt and abrupt with customers and, from what myself and my partner saw, her attitude was just as poor with her own staff members. Fair enough she was under a lot of pressure with what seemed to be an understaffed restaurant, but customer service should always be a priority and her attitude needs checking! Take some notes from your wait staff on manners. Seems to be a theme for tony macarnois.

Staff very attentive, friendly and professional. Food was lovely, piping hot, delicious. Dont like that they add on a service charge automatically .would prefer to add my own tick and this puts me off tipping!!

It was okay, just okay. They have launched in the old Frankies and Benny’s next door to the Odeon cinema, but guess what - it’s the same old same old. A tad uninspiring. The food was mediocre and felt like restaurant chain mass produced food. There was no sense of local, organic, sustainable, ethical. It’s not expensive (understandably) but it seemed clean and there is plenty of car parking. Will I be returning, sadly no!

The staff are what make this place special. I had a little problem with my meal, the manager couldn't have been nicer she took it away gave me a new one not once did I feel like an invonvenience. The food was delicious, the mussels to start are amazing, the lasagne and the meatballs were the mains we had and I would thoroughly recommend them. Thanks for the lovely experience. We'll definitely be back. Also to people visiting the resteraurant, if you have a problem tell them, they'll fix it, don't leave annoyed and then leave negative comments as this can damage businesses for no reason.

Was in last night as a large part food was rank and half FROZEN and place was freezing was wearing jackets the whole experience and the best of it was there was no compensation offered total shock first time coming and will be the last

9 dec .Was in there last night for dinner had to sit with our coat on and hold a candle for heat as there was no heating in the place my son inlaw ordered a cheese burger which the burger roll was freezing if it was just out the freezer and our pasta was dripping in grease was my first time ever there what a disappointed to say the least.

Decided to visit the brand new branch of this well known chain whilst we had friends staying with us. Restaurant was decorated in a very stylish fashion. Modern yet not cold and unwelcoming. The place still managed to feel cosy and warm despite having so many windows. A feature that can sometimes leave a premises feeling cold. The staff we interacted with were all very nice. They seemed well trained and enthusiastic. I don't know if they were all brand new but if they were you couldn't tell. They were very attentive and polite with constant smiles. Food was top notch too. We went on a Sunday and got the two courses for £12.99 deal. This was absolutely amazing value for the size and quality of the portions you got. And unlike other restaurants with similar deals, the menu for the deal was huge with plenty of choice for all appetites. The bill did come with an automatic 5% gratuity on, which is usually a habit I don't like restaurants doing, however as the amount was about what I had planned to leave anyway this was great. The staff more than deserved it. Would definitely recommend.

I've been here a few times and it's fab. The chefs are so gd at their job and the waiting staff are super helpful. Will definitely be back.

The food was absolutely amazing and very filling. The staff are very sweet and overall I have no complaints about this place. I would definitely go here again.

First time going out for dinner in a long time due to anxiety with covid19. Was expecting the worst to happen. But was welcomed with a smile and sense of belonging. Service was great was not ignored. Won a local competition for 4 people at Tony Macaroni Kilmarnock. Food was lovely, staff were very helpful and polite. Excellent customer service. Would highly recommend very reasonable prices. Looking forward to next time.
