This place is amazing for dates 5 stars I loved it so much and it’s quite fancy but not to much there food is so good I recommed

Went for dinner with my mum and dad, Food was really nice... Edit: its shut down now 🙁, nearest one is Kilmarnock... shame.

Was awful. The pasta was pathetic. Ordered a king prawn dish and got frozen crayfish tails... I don't understand how anyone thought nobody would notice that. Meant to be an Italian restaurant that specialises in pasta and all the pasta dishes were piss poor. Waiting 45 minutes for a kids ice cream. Mac cheese (you'd think calling it Tony macaroni) would be their signature dish but it was plane macaroni pasta with melted cheese on it with no sauce... very strange considering its a "authentic Italian" that specialises in pasta... party of 12, not a single person or child finished any of it. Was in there for 3 hours and that was only mains plus 3 kid ice creams. Was only us plus another table of 2. Safe to say, no chance of return custom. Probably the worst food etc I've had in Scotland. Would of been safer and better buying a ready meal. Tony clearly hates macaroni or this guff wouldnt have been served up.

Staff were lovely but the gluten-free options were a joke. They only had gluten-free penne which they just substituted for the regular pasta. The carbonara didn’t stick well to the penne so it was penne in a garlic soup with nice ham.

Lovely warm welcome, coffee offered right away, order taken by such a nice young man, this was a positive experience we will return due to this experience large portions excellent value for money

Went for family meal only problem was soup not hot enough everything else great. great service from Emily couldn't do enough would come back for service.

This is only my second visit to a Tony Macaroni and both times I've enjoyed the food greatly. On Saturday night I enjoyed the Spaghetti Pollo Picante which I'll definitely be having again. Great portions well cooked. We were served by lovely friendly staff. Shout out to girl with pierced nose who was our server. Excellent customer service from her as well as a good laugh. I'll def be back (I've only deducted a point because the chips were slightly undercooked.)

Went to irvine restaurant last night with my daughter and grandson . Emily was our waitress she was very attentive and her service was impeccable as this is hard to find nowadays we were really impressed food was excellent and not too long to wait. First in a long time I've eaten a 3 course meal honestly a homely and friendly place x my grandson was a bit teary at first as he had just woke up Emily went out of her way to make him feel special so a special mention for her xxx

Didn't like the salmon pasta it was very tasteless and bland for my liking.

The restaurant was very cold, not great value for money. Also don't like how they are adding service charge now as default.

Food was very tasty. Better than other of the same name. Staff very attentive. Thoroughly enjoyed the experiance. It was warm enough to take off the coat and relax.

We normally go to Tony's in Glasgow & Largs which are always great but popped into the irvine branch for a quick lunch as we were out for the day. I got the penne arrabiata which is usually fool proof but not sure if the cook had a load of chilli's left that needed used up but my lunch was barely edible it was so hot. We had also got the garlic bread but it tasted odd with a strange aftertaste. The waitress was lovely but don't think I could be enticed to go back

9 of us went for my sons birthday. Food was great, staff were very attentive and nothing was too much hassle. Definitely recommend.

Food was tasteless not seasoned...really not in to the standard of the Largs Tony Macaroni which we visited and thought was exceptional. Drinks took an age to come to us. 2 girls who attended to our table were polite and extremely helpful. The food was really poor pasta was under cooked and bland chips with kids meals were soggy

Absolutely delicious food and great service

Ordered 2 pizzas for takeaway. Toppings not cooked with pizza, base burnt, chicken disgusting and by the time I drove the 3 minutes home the pizza was cold. Phoned and offered to collect 2 fresh pizzas or 2 free pizzas. Hard pass on both. Won't be visiting again

Not anywhere near as good as it used to be. Pasta overcooked, sauce very craggy. A slightly fancy cafe now. Restaurant also very dingy and not very clean.

Went here tonight with my family and the food was lovely! Especially the Tiramisu - unreal! Our server Chloe was lovely too, a credit to your branch. Will defo be back!

What can you say, like all Tony's places food very good, staff friendly and helpful. Prices if you order before 5:30 PM adults portions same price as kids. How can you not like it.

Wee blonde (Megan/Morgan) needs an attitude adjustment. Very rude and abrupt, heard her swearing at the bar. Food was fine but won’t be back. Train your staff!!

Nice environment with enough friendly staff and the food is excellent. I had spaghetti Carbonara from the lunch menu with garlic bread..all was exc6but I only got the bread as I expected a small lunchtime portion.. I was wrong it was a very filling tasty portion

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the food was not very warm and when I explained why I didn't finish my meal I felt my complaint was not really accepted and brushed away.

Over garlicky non toasted burger bun straight from the freezer, nothing actually wrong with the food, just uninspired and poor quality your average cafeteria food nothing more than that.

Half a piece of chicken with about 90 mushrooms in a tasteless sauce. Hot plate garnished with a lettuce leaf and a cherry tomato. Mixed veg was cold looked like puke. Garlic bread was like 6 quid for 2 tiny pieces. Absolute crap. Service slow.

Food was a great quality, could see it being prepared fresh in front of you. Servers are lovely as well

The food was just OK. Realitively cheap and cheerful, but I wouldnt rush back. Portions are far too big and wasteful. I know that's part of the advertising of Italian food there and that you can bag it up and take it home but would rather smaller portions and give the extra to people that need it instead of likely wasting a lot per table, as didn't hear anyone want to take theirs home. Was also pretty quiet for a Saturday night.

Had the seafood linguine and was quite disappointed. Seemed to lack flavour and 3 of the Mussels were off. My wife had a risotto and again lacked flavour.

Ordered some burgers about 6 months ago & although a bit pricey was amazing, quality meat, delicious ingredients & proper cheese! Last night decided to treat the wee man to something a step up from McD's & ordered a cheeseburger & hamburger. Was like night & day compared to last time. Found 2 bits of gristle in my burger & a thimble amount of cheese plus the lettuce was going brown!! Sadly TM has done what a lot of restaurants are doing now by increasing prices but using inferior ingredients/products to make a profit. Please save your money because have had better burgers at half the price!!

Have ordered before with no issue, food was always tasty. This time however when the food finally arrived (about an hour) later it was cold. By cold I mean stone cold, pizza was hard around the edges, chips were soggy and hard at the same time and pasta had turned totally stodgy. The food had definitely been made when we ordered and lying there until a driver was available I’m assuming. When googling the telephone number to report the inedible food, we seen the restaurant actually closed 2 minutes after our order was placed! Unfortunate as the food had to go straight in the bin, total waste of money.

Excellent service, staff were very attentive, food was great as always in this restaurant. This place is am excellent restaurant to go to and all the staff are so pleasant, overall 5 stars.

I went with my 2 children and a friend. First they took a while to get and order and the restaurant wasn’t full. Then they took about 45 min to an hour to bring the food. My children where starving and the pizza I order for them was awful barely had cheese. I will not recommend this restaurant if you go with small children.

We went for dinner tonight Thursday 24 February 2022 @ 6:15pm The food was amazing, piping hot and fresh. The staff were soooo friendly and super efficient. BRILLIANT SIZE PORTIONS.

It was OK. Dessert was much nicer than main.

Amazing olives as well as pasta. Olives coated in delicious spicy sauce that made my mouth water like a fountain. Mash potats were fine. Bit loud however with beasts you call children screaming but still enjoyed it with my collegue Pluto. Would go again.

Decent portion sizes. Masks worn below noses.. what's the point? Editing for fairness after owners reply. The food is really good and the portion sizes are better than you'd expect from the chain style restaurant. I'd much rather spend my money here than a Frankie & Bennies, for example. We visited again since my original post and again, masks worn, by what I think is the manager, under his nose. Either wear it or don't wear it, it sets a bad example when worn incorrectly.

Staff are always lovely and friendly service is fantastic, so is the food ! If you love garlic you must get the garlic chips

Was ok for the 50% off January deal.

Restaurant managed to squeeze us in for our meal with no booking which was great! Staff were friendly and attentive. Only fault was there was no penne pasta for our dish but we were offered an alternative which was fine. Our oldest son's main was not ready at with the rest of the mains but this was taken off the bill. We will be back again .

Was quite quiet, had pasta was very chewy no sauce for carbonara, was very greasy.

When travelling to mainland, stopped in here for lunch with my daughters and grand daughter. Staff were helpful and accommodated us with some changes to ingredients in our mains. Food was tasty and portions were huge, thankfully they are happy to Box up uneaten food to take home. I dont like food waste.

Very enjoyable, certainly put a lot on the plate, friendly staff and a nice atmosphere.

I have eaten in most Tony Macs around this area(Largs,Braehead) and Irvine which is by far the best of all these 3. Delicious minestrone soup and large portions. We had the Jimmy style and had to ask for what we had left to take away/ pizza and garlic chips. Keep up the good work everyone, especially Luke, well done mate.

Was surprised they have a massive sign saying breakfast but they have stopped doing breakfast... To me there was nothing on the menu that I thought was breakfast or a light snack....so I got a starter portion of calamari and a starter portion of pate on toast with a coffee. Pate seemed to be scraped on then scraped off....but you could taste it and it was well presented with salad and onion dressing The calamari was superb 👍 but not as good as the coffee which has to be the best in Irvine The staff where all pleasant and smiley without being annoyingly overly attentive . Needs a bigger typeface menu ... it was very small and needs breakfast type items. One of the staff pointed out the reason they gave up on breakfast is it did not have a good response, I get that but look at the surrounding restaurants that you cant get into at breakfast time....they all have brunch type things on their menus and a typeface people can read. In short I enjoyed my not breakfast and will go back when wanting a bigger meal or just for the coffee alone ...to me its that good

I Thought The Food Was Excellent But The Chicken In My Chicken Burger Was Very Bland Could Of Done With A Sauce Or Marinated.

Went here for lunch food was great and the service was fantastic staff were friendly and helpful, highly recommended for a quick good value meal.
