Overpriced. I'm sure it'd hard in this current economic climate, but the quality of food presented was not equivalent to the price we paid.

I was travelling for work and stopped here for lunch, didn't expect sushi where I was, the California Roll was proper lovely, the fried rice was also great.

The food was amazing and I barely managed to finish it all, with very friendly and welcoming staff. It was a new and different way to order for me. You write the number of the menu item, on a list and give the list to a staff member at the counter when you're ready. Very quiet, apart from the kitchen sounds, It was only myself and a friend who were eating inside. There were no wall designs or decorations. This didn't ruin the experience, but it was noticeable. The bathroom didn't feel very clean.

Fantastic chicken curry! Quick service and great sushi not super expensive either. You can get a meal for 3 for about 40 pounds and that's with sides! Will miss this place.

We often order take away (the past 5 years) there and we absolutely love it. The staff is always nice, the portions are good, the quality is 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. They always make sure they separate vegetarian and non vegetarian in the take away boxes (we never asked but actually it is really good that way). Always a good service. We will carry on ordering there.

I was super not in the mood for Chinese food. When I say i’m glad my wife convinced me to eat there, I mean it. I had a duck plate and my wife had fried rice. We also got some sushi. The food was soooooo good! I was taken by surprise. The father/owner sat and chatted with us for a bit. Service was great. Do yourself a favor and grab lunch or dinner here. Trust me when I say it’s wayyyy worth it!

One of my favorite restaurants ever. The chicken curry is amazing and the sushi tastes really fresh. I was recommended here by a friend and so was he. An absolute hidden gem of a restaurant. Small and limited seating. The walls are covered in doodles by customers who have come and gone and loved it.

I had a craving for sushi and found this little gem in Beck Row! The food was amazing! Great quality and excellent service. Cannot recommend enough.

If you're craving authentic Japanese food then look no further! The food is excellent and affordably priced, not to mention friendly and welcoming staff/ service. I got the gyoza and miso soup and it hit all the right notes 🍜🤤. Will definitely be back here again! Would recommend!👍🏽

Great sushi for a good price! We've eaten here several times and love their sushi as well as the other options. It's a very small sitting area, but we have been able to get a table each time with very little wait. We will return as they have great quality fish and good prices.

Probably some of the nicest, most friendly people serving some of the best quality sushi I’ve had in the UK. A small but fiery business, they are always busy- but the quality never drops. We will really miss them when we PCS to Alaska, but absolutely will not forget them!

I loved there honey chicken and chocolate mochi balls.

We had beef udon, ebi sushi, shrimp fried rice, orange chicken, egg drop soup, and crab rangoons all for 50 pounds and the portions were large and delicious! Parking and seating is limited , but you can also do takeout. We will be back.

Fantastic food and very friendly and fast staff. We tried the California Maki and the Crispy Chicken Maki, both were great. We also had some Edmame as an appetizer and they were also delicious. The food was actually so good that after we ate there, we had to grab some more to take home and that was also Fantastic!!! Definitely a must try!!!

Delicious sushi! The hot & sour soup and egg drop soup was tremendous! Very fast service and friendly staff. Would highly recommend. Plan to visit there again.

Lovely little place. If you want a quiet place to enjoy some ramen or sushi, this is definitely the place. What I love the most is the wall is covered in customer drawn pictures of various cartoons, animes and more. Its wonderful. I typically order takeaway because my family would fill the table space available. Go to favorites are the: #35, Soft Shell Crab Maki #44, Rainbow Maki

Great little place to satisfy some cravings. I enjoyed my Japanese Chicken Curry for sure! The California Roll and the Meat Gyoza were also rather delectable! My wife also enjoyed the sirloin steak with teriyaki sauce. Will be returning for more of their yummy food. Pork Katsu Curry is also on point! The edamame never disappoints either. My wife really likes the spicy beef ramen they have added to the menu. My daughter's favorite is the prawn crackers dipped in curry sauce!

Best Sushi since I moved here!!

A big disappointment. I wanted to go eat sushi, arrived at around 8pm and asked if there was still a seat available (the restaurant was not even half full) and the overwhelmed and unfriendly staff said that I should come at 9:30pm. Slightly confused, I asked again and was confirmed that it was the right time. By the way, I was offered to wait 1.5 hours in the restaurant?????? Then why can't you serve me? I came back around 9:20pm and the staff was cleaning up and the kitchen was closed. This is a huge cheek! Disappointing, incompetent and unfriendly staff. You shouldn't support something like that. I sent more than 40 minutes on the bike, only to end up not even having food. Shame on you.I would prefer to give zero stars...

Really lovely staff. Service and food is amazing! Bit of a travel for me but definitely worth it! Definitely would recommend.

I have eaten here a dozen times since 2018. The food is consistently above average - excellent. The prices are fair too. Always worth ordering. Service has been a hit or miss. There is no question that regulars get preferred treatment. It nearly impacted the decision to go back, but now that we are recognized, the attitudes are gone. There are not a lot of eating options in the village, but no matter, we have had food from many Chinese restaurants across the UK and for the most part, this place can contend with the best on offer, elsewhere. I absolutely recommend! Just be forewarned that if you aren't a regular, it may take a few tries before you feel the service equals the food quality. The people working there do value the loyalty of their regular customers, above all else.

I ate the food so quickly that I didn't even get to take a picture. The sushi here is better than anywhere else in town! I had the crispy chicken maki and I couldn't get enough! I almost came back the next day for another sushi order! The vegetable spring rolls were alright, not too oily. I was a little sad that the chicken curry didn't come with potatoes and carrots (or any veggies at all), but the chicken was so crispy and yummy. I'll be back for more sushi soon!

The chicken tori curry sauce is almost identical to cocos curry but the chicken is dry. The sushi was fantastic! Overall a great sushi place.

The staff are very friendly. The food is always fresh and delicious and prepared very quickly. They also have the best crab Rangoon around.

Delicious and made to order. I would certainly eat here again.

First, I would really call this a sushi place. A majority of their menu was just regular dishes with very little sushi options. Second, we arrived and ordered and were sitting waiting. Maybe around 10 minutes later a group of 4 guys walked in and ordered. As we're sitting and waiting they ended up getting served all of their food. This included rolls and plates piled high with food. We were confused since we arrived way before them and only ordered 4 small rolls yet they had rolls AND piles of food coming out. When my husband went to ask what was going on they acted confused and apparently had put the orders in the wrong order or something. After about 35-40 minutes we finally received our food after they finished serving the other table. Thirdly, the customer service was extremely lacking. When you go up to order the guy just looks at you without saying anything and you can barely hear him when he does talk. Lastly, the sushi wasn't even good. It was practically tasteless. I'd recommend sumo sushi in mildenhall if you're going to get sushi. This place is horrible.

Everything I've tried from them is outstanding.

We got curious about this place so we decided to try after going to the Undley Pumpkin Patch. The sushi and the yakiudon were great. However the donburi and the pork katsu meal were over-powered by the gravy/sauce. The butterfly shrimp and the pork katsu were over-deep-fried. They have a wall full of order pad paper with sketches of various characters. My kids enjoyed getting their drawings in the order paper displayed on the wall.

Is not Japan but it is pretty close. Great food and service. For those that have live in Japan, get use to new standards 😉

Love this place! Sushi is great, their Katsu Curry is amazing and their customer service it good. Their delivery on popular night can take too long but to be expected considering their aren't a lot of good sushi options in the area

OMG!! This is the place to go if you want fresh sushi. Every time I go there serious pounds is spend in there because thats how great they are. Clean place, the service is quick. If you waiting your order you can admire the art that people have posted on the location's wall, you will have a good time. Very small place to eat, but I recomend just take your order to go eat and pass out in your house. I invite you to go there and tell me about your experience.

I've lived in the UK for about 2 years before moving back to the States and this was by far the best place to eat in Mildenhall. They have variety of dishes if you didn't just want sushi, their prices are much more affordable than most restaurants nearby, and they had excellent customer service. My friends and I would eat here every weekend and the quality of their food was on point everytime.

We’ve visited oysy sushi on many occasions and we’ve noticed last night in particular it really has gone down hill. Portion sizes still amazing, quality of the food & care really poor. Watery wasabi (don’t know how this can be) Poor care of rolls. Provided with no chopsticks or ginger. Very poor and very down hill. Very disappointed, I would have called to say but I didn’t want any sort of refund. Shame

Wife loves the place. They have the best softshell crab salad.

My wife and I went here for a quick bite to eat and were initially optimistic. The reviews were mostly good and the staff was friendly. We ordered the combo fried rice, a hand roll, and a dragon roll. The meat in the fried rice was way over cooked so it was dry, tough, and flavorless. There were no veggies in the rice (nevermind the picture on the menu) and the seasoning tasted like it was just soy sauce. The hand roll was bland, and the dragon roll tasted like it went past it's prime a week ago. We were still hungry, but decided we would rather stay hungry than order anything else. Judging by the food alone I would rate this place one star, but the staff was friendly and the service was speedy. The notepad papers with customer drawings all over the walls give it a fun feel, so there's definitely potential. But the food was sadly just bad.

This place should be ashamed of themselves, ordered the Japanese pork curry with the salad and all I have to say is wow it's bad. The meat was so dry and nasty that's probably because you pulled the meat straight out the freezer and try to cook it. I have had authentic Japanese curry and this place is not where near the taste. It's like their not even trying.

My daughter is a big fan of sushi and when we moved into Beck Row we were amazed to find this little Sushi Restaurant almost on our doorstep. She says it is first class, good value and very friendly service.
