Tinga in Wiltshire

Unfortunately on early Saturday evening we were rushed through our meal. We were advised that we had 30mins to vacate our table when 2 of our party had only just received their main course. This happened 3 times. Staff were not helpful or understanding that the delay was not down to us , it was their kitchen that caused the delay !

Delicious food, dishes a larger size than you would expect which is great! The 2-3 dishes per person is a perfect recommendation. Cocktails 10/10 - Tom makes an absolutely stupendous margarita so will be coming back. Thank you Will for your service!

Just want to say a massive thank you to Will I think his name was. Hes a real asset to your team and made us feel very welcome. We will return :)

This place is mega Pork tacos will change your life

Beautiful experience from the moment we walked in! This is such a gorgeous, colourful and creative place.. staff were lovely and helpful throughout. The cocktails were beautiful and you could not fault the food - authentic, colourful and delicious! We were also very impressed at how well priced everything was.. Would definitely recommend and look forward to coming back again! Thank you 🙏🏻

The portions are really small so you should at least order three dishes. (we were told so but weren’t really hungry) It was a festively decorated place with lots of colors and staff were cheerful too. Pina Colada was good, and other small plates were okay. but I wouldn’t go for the churros if I visit again..

Such a great restaurant and fun Mexican vibes. Very friendly service but a little slow given how quiet the restaurant was. Food was good but we were charged for a few extra tortilla chips without being advised. 12% service feel felt steep when the majority of our bill was drinks. Good cocktails and we liked the personal service that was offered on recommendations for the Tequila trolley!

Fab food, great atmosphere, reasonably priced with a terrific food and cocktail menu. The Mezcal Old Fashioned and the Chorizo Fondue were insane!! BIG shoutout to Will who made our day which had been a tough one and was such a genuine person, you are kenough, will.

The staff were lovely at Tinga, and the decorations were amazing. I ordered the non-alcoholic piña colada and it was great! However, when it came to the food, when one person on the table received the food, it took another 10 minutes for my food to arrive meaning my friends food was slightly cold by the time mine came out. When my burrito came, I was very impressed, looked and tasted good… until I chewed a chicken bone and it put me off my whole meal

Meals are small and definitely not up to it’s reputation. Would bother going. An ol elpaso kit at home would be a better idea

Tinga absolutely deserves its number 1 ranking on Tripadvisor. I've been many times but visited again this month and as ever, it didn't disappoint. Service is friendly and efficient, atmosphere great and the small plates concept works really well- lots of opportunities to try new things and share with others. Good selection of drinks too. Reasonably priced considering how expensive eating out has become in the last couple of years.

Me and my partner came here for valentines day and it was the best decision, Becky served us and she was so bubbly and had great customer service skills. The food was delicious, the restaurant in general looked so cute and the atmosphere was great - especially for date night! 100% recommend coming here :)

What a find! Absolutely loved this food beautifully made and a delight to eat. Will our waiter was a most impressive young man and really made our whole experience outstanding. So thank you Will and all the great team there next time we come to Salisbury we will most definitely return to Tinga!

We came for my sister's hen party meal and it absolutely did not disappoint. We did the bottomless brunch and everyone went out of their way to do what they could to make it the most amazing night. The food was out of this world and the cocktails were delicious. Tom and Will were outstanding throughout and after 2 hours of bottomless margaritas I am sure looking after us was not the easiest of jobs. We will definitely be back!

Our first experience of Mexican food, the staff were very helpful in steering us both through the tapas style menu. We tried a wide variety of dishes and were not disappointed in our choices. The decor is unusual, eclectic and ads to the atmosphere.

Tingas free flowing brunch was exceptional! Excellent value for money given the number of margaritas you could pack in within 2 hours, and the food never disappoints.

Had a great lunch here. Great atmosphere and very nice staff. Will deffo return soon.

Came to Tinga for dinner with the family, its actually great for children. My two, 8 and 5, loved the atmosphere and the decor. Lots of small plates to try from so they very were happy! Staff are always friendly and accommodating.

Delicious food! We've never had food here that we didn't love and crave more of! We were served by Becky who made our evening amazing! And the birthday celebrations that were put on were the cherry on the (birthday) cake

Customer service is very important to me. I am pleased to say that the service was brilliant. They were all polite, attentive and helped build a lovely atmosphere. The food was delicious. This Mexican restaurant is greatly underestimated - if anything, it's a hidden gem waiting to be discovered! The fresh ingredients used in their dishes are top-notch, and you can definitely taste the care that has gone into flavoring and seasoning each bite. The service is fantastic, adding to the overall value of the experience. While Mexican cuisine may not be my top choice, this restaurant has charmed me enough to warrant a full five-star rating. It's safe to say that this place has spiced up my expectations in the best way possible!

Called in and booked a table, they helpfully recommended free parking nearby as we aren’t local and got us booked in for that evening. Really lovely service, great food, all reasonably priced and menu was explained to us in terms of portion sizes etc. partner loved the corn on the cob and the fish tacos were gorgeous.

This was some seriously GOOD food!! I am so happy I came across it. Definitely try the chicken quesadilla and order a few salsas so worth it.

My second visit here and it was just as great as the first time. The food is absolutely delicious - highly recommend the croquetas, tacos and quesadillas! Amelia gave us perfect advice on how much would be good for our group. We are Veg/vegan/GF among the three of us and everything we chose was amazing. My fav was the black bean and cheese quesadillas.

We got recommended by a friend While the place inside is lovely decorated it was our first time there last weekend me and my wife we were so excited to try some ‘’real’ Mexican food to our upset and disappointment the food was very very overly salty my wife loves salt but even she couldn’t take it the fish tacos aswel were tasteless everything we order a lot of food 99% went to waste I understand they get busy but rushing people of there table after spending £100 very sad we won’t be returning

Great portions, flavours and cocktails off the beaten track in Salisbury. I particularly enjoyed the passion fruit margarita. I had the trio of soft tacos which I ordered with prawn and mushroom. The prawns were smoky but a bit too friendly with the charcoal for my liking but still nice.

We were a large party of 14 who had a 2 hr window to dine in. The drinks were good but, we felt very rushed into ordering our food and when it did come it was a dish here and a dish there, some people were finishing their sweets whilst some were still waiting for mains. After our 'slot' we were asked to move from our table to some nearby seating whereas we watched 4 people sit where we had been ( there were empty tables nearby too). Overall the food and drink were good but please take a look at your booking timings, if it's a big party, your guests are likely going to be spending more time and money when well catered for.
