Tin Can Pizza in Newport

The Meat Feast pizza was amazing! We really enjoyed it, however, the chicken wings were dreadful. The wings had no flavour whatsoever, I’m assuming they’re not seasoned, they were also covered in oil. Would definitely order again but would consider ordering different sides.

Ordered a few times for delivery but this time we picked up.. pizza was amazing as always.. but the guys at pick up were so friendly and helpful was well deserved of a 5* review!!

Amazing pizza at affordable prices. Delivery is reasonable. Always comes perfectly cooked, never cold. The tin can pizza is delicious. I also requested garlic and herb dip and my wish was granted!

Ordered 2 pizza's, One was cooked lovely and cut, the other was not cut at all and looked a bit aneamic. Might not bother again

Was the first time using this vender, when typically I go for their neighbouring Tin Can Kitchen. My pizza, was delicious without a doubt would order again. The lack of stars was for the "gluten free" base pizza, which came out like a shop bought £1.99 pizza - foe the same price as mine, being £10-11. It was completely underwhelming for the price. It does state on their website its a personal sized pizza, but nothing about the pizza itself looked pleasing which was a shame. I felt let down by that option, and felt it could have offered more to gluten free options

Catered for us and you smashed it, got to the venue on time and food was amazing. Thank you guys for the service, everyone loved the food.

The pizza is delicious! My little boy just said "Ring the pizza man and tell him it was amazing!" I have to agree! The fries are also so delicious! Its not our first visit and it won't be our last xx

Big fan of the great pizza (and sides) they do, had the festive pizza this week (chicken, bacon, stuffing, cranberry and dipping gravy). While many festive items can be gimmicky - this was a truly lovely and balanced pizza

Pizza was fully loaded and tasty but the chicken wings were a disappointment, not much flavour and looked anaemic, chips were tasty but arrived cold, ordered for a certain time but arrived 20 mins early, brownie a bit disappointing too.

Pizza is my favourite food. I have perused pizza parlour's across the world. Al Forno's makes GOOD pizza.

Ordered a load of pizzas for a staff party and they were all cooked to perfection. Amazing service from start to finish, would highly recommend and will certainly be ordering again!

Delicious pizzas, best about, love the deals that they do, great value for money, food always arrives fresh and piping hot within its allocated time slot, staff have always been nothing but polite, welcoming, friendly & helpful, never had a bad meal, prices are more than reasonable, especially for a proper pizza! highly recommend!

Tried their margherita pizza with pineapple (I'm a fussy sod), their herby fries and a warm gooey chocolate brownie. The dough tasted really nice and fresh, fries were awesome, very well seasoned and crispy, the only let down was the brownie, it tasted overcooked (almost burnt), still managed to eat most of it but other than the brownie it was all very nice, will order again 👍

Ordered a pizza from Al Forno (geppetto - yum) and a crispy chicken burger from Tin Can Kitchen (with a gluten free roll). Excellent value for money! Really impressed. Friendly staff, great service - will definitely be back.

DO NOT ORDER AND WASTE YOUR MONEY. The staff, inc the owner, Barry, are extremely unhelpful and rude. I got hung up on, lied to and they clearly did not want to look into my complaint. I'm all for supporting small businesses but not those who treat customers like they did with me. To food isn't that great anyway! We had the meatball pizza which was chewy and the chicken strips were bone dry. We wanted to give it another chance but after speaking to Barry, no chance! The reply below from the owner wasn't there and would naturally defend Barry. Your website isn't clear and the staff members I spoke to didn't have a clue. They said there's no charge under 3 miles. We live less than 3 miles. I called back to say that and the person said it was 1 mile and then hung up on me. Like I said to Barry, the £2 charge doesn't bother me. I'm happy to pay it but when I'm spoke to, lied to (that Barry had just popped out and then miraculously available two seconds later) and hung up on when querying this is really out of order hence the review. Barry was patronising and not helpful. Just because you know someone for 20 years doesn't mean they don't change. You weren't there during the conversation. Also, as mentioned above, the pizza and chicken pieces weren't great the first time we ordered from you but thought we'd give you another go but definitely not after this.

Incredible food and fantastic service! I would highly recommend! This will be a regular haunt, that's for sure.

After seriously enjoying the evening menu on several occasions, decided to pop over and try the new daytime menu. Got the chicken parmesan and the meatball marinara subs and I have to say I haven't eaten anything that nice in some time. Give it a go, if you can. It's banging.

I had a chicken pizza with herby parmesan fries and chicken bites. The pizza was great, and the fries and chicken bites didn’t last that long! Domino’s is sacked, it’s Al Forno all the way!

Had three large pizzas, chips and garlic bread. Would have taken pictures and posted them but the pizzas did not last long the kids loved them that much. The pigs in blankets pizza was amazing and the most popular with my kids. The herby chips were really good as well. I think they are actually better than the season fries at the TCK. The pizza dough was really good and definitely make Al Forno stand out from the competition.

Pizza was boiling hot and smelt amazing. Unfortunately the pizza and garlic pizza bread were tasteless and extremely doughy. The herb fries were ok but the Parmesan & Herb fries was like eating a spoonful of flour with every chip. I was looking forward to eating here as tin can kitchen is so amazing but unfortunately it was a huge letdown

Excellent pizza. By far the best pizza I’ve had in Newport. You can judge a pizzeria by how good it’s margarita is and this surpassed any expectations! Large enough to feed a couple, tasty enough to have to yourself. The herb fries were a surprise joy and would highly recommend as a side. Perfect take away.

Banging pizza from the Tin Can kitchen boys. Popped up for a burger and was enticed into trying the new pizza. Great job!
