Tilla Balti & Tandoori Takeaway in Redditch

Amazing food and quick. Whilst we were waiting they gave us some food from the kitchen which was a lovely touch, will definitely order again!

Highly recommend, hadn’t had one from there for about 20 years, visiting our mom at Church Road. Still as good! Delivery driver asked if I’d used them before. I said I had but not for a long time. Impressed with big portions, including Nan bread! My family will be getting a takeaway very soon & using as there regular curry house. Takeaway only or you can collect yourself. Will certainly be getting another one on my next visit.

Ordered from here beginning of November after hearing good reviews. Order was ok very greasy.. ordered a cheese naan... received at GARLIC naan. Second order from them last night ordered a large order over £50... again ordered cheese naan and received garlic!! My curry was also tasteless..they also only sent us 2 rice when we ordered three... when called to tell them they said they’d bring us another but claimed we didn’t order three and that they’d be charging for the rice although we had ordered three and had our order wrote down... the cheek of it yet we had tipped them for there service in the first place! We received Two popadoms complimentary... TWO on an over £50 order which I thought was extremely poor. Most curry houses would give you a bag full with dip, even a beer etc... First two visits and safe to say last night was the last.

For a real curry lover this place is not what you want. This place is for people that are just tipping their toes into an Indian and looking for a basic meal. No real flavour or taste but the worst thing is low quality meat and veg. When asked to customise a little and add some heat they just add chilli powder (think bad stomach and toilet time!!!) rather than dry spices and green chilli which is much tastier and better for you. There is another restaurant up the road that does takeaways which are much better in my view.

Always good food reasonably good with time taken to deliver, has put up prices and for a takeaway now getting expensive but a good sheik starter and chicken madras curry

We had a takeaway from here a few nights ago. I had a Spinach & Mince Balti, My wife and son both had Korma. This was the first time we had visited this curry house but it certainly will not be the last. This was the tastiest curry I have ever been served. I would recommend this establishment to anyone. Consistently great food - one per week for over 10 years means I’ve checked more than 500 dishes and never had a bad one. Spot on!!

Been coming here for over 20 years and am rarely disappointed. Food is always freshly cooked to order and the Chicken Tikka is the best in Redditch area. Staff always polite and helpful if you fancy a change from “the usual”. Highly recommended

Have been coming here on and off for 15 years and never had a bad meal until now. We ordered prawn sag baltis and a vegetable biryani and all were very watery indeed. The prawn sag Balti was also starved of prawns. And although it was still tasty, I might be tempted to try elsewhere next time - something I haven't contemplated before. Common Tilla, let's get back to your old standards which were much better than this!

The food is good here although following my visit this evening I thought the prawns had thinned out somewhat in the prawn and spinach Balti. This is place is just a takeaway and not a restaurant which means that the food is good value. We’ve been coming here for years and I can’t recall having a bad meal.

I stopped ordering food from here as it lacked taste. I stayed away for a couple of years and returned having had a recommendation. After a few tries I find it’s much improved, the food has a lovely flavour and is good value for money.

We have tried many take aways in Redditch but always go back to Tilla, it is in our opinion the best

Hemos estado utilizando'stilla para los últimos 12 meses, y han sido siempre muy satisfechos. La comida siempre es cálido y de alto nivel. Las pakoras son especialmente sabrosos de pollo junto con algunos de sus platos más caliente. De vez en cuando también nos pide el nuevo opciones vegetarianas que son de alta calidad.Mientras'stilla es nada para ver desde fuera, la comida es excelente y vale la pena probar

He estado aquí muchas veces a lo largo de los años y siempre he tenido una buena experiencia. Ha sido dirigido por el mismo propietario durante este tiempo y siempre amable y cortés. Mi plato favorito es el de gambas y espinacas biryani. Recientemente tuve el langostino y pollo balti, que nuevamente fue excelente. Algunos más gambas podría haber sido muy bonito. Este establecimiento no es un restaurante y no tienen estos gastos generales y, por lo tanto, la comida es buena relación calidad-precio. Es poco probable que iría a ningún otro lado si quería un curry para llevar en Redditch.

Este llevar ha sido llevado por el mismo chico de 20 años por lo menos, a mi entender. Eso dice mucho, pero la comida aquí es sin duda el mejor Balti y Tandoori he probado por millas. Es un "DEBE" para la familia cuando están de visita desde Londres, e insisten vale la pena viajar desde Londres.

I had several different meals whilst working away from home, all of which were fine. Chef will adjust any dish to your liking, my favourite was the Makhan Chicken which I had made slightly spicier.

This is a great takeaway serving all kinds of Indian food. If its not on the menu they will try and cook what it is that you desire.

Best traditional curry in the area. No fancy frills - curry as it should be! Very big portion size and they'll accommodate any requests for specials. The tikka dhansak is the best I've ever had. Excellent service and fast delivery service.
