The food here is usually excellent; however I wouldn't recommend eating ceviche since I got food poisoning by it.

A little treasure spot in a heart of Islington!!! We are 2 coriander haters, in this place we ate all the coriander sauce and licked our knives . Super delicious food. Very friendly staff. And of course their wine!!!. The best choice for rainy day in London!!!

We went here for our anniversary. Brilliant restaurant and very authentic Peruvian food my wife (who is Peruvian) and myself were very impressed with the anticuchos, with the little Peruvian corn, which tasted just like those you get in Peru. We also loved the Chicha morada which we missed so much and is basically impossible to get here. With the music and decoration for a small moment we forgot we were in London and thought we were again in Lima 🇵🇪

The food is excellent and the cocktails are amazing.

Pricey for what you get but authentic. Service for paying the bill was very very slow (40 minutes from first person paid to last person paid)

Visited with friends for catch up dinner. My food was tasty, although the size was a touch small for the price point. The coffee is great. The service however was quite slow and all our food came out at different times (with pretty large gaps). I think improved service will increase the all round experience.

Great peruvian restaurant. Unlike my other favorite spot in elephant and castle. This one has a proper "restaurant" vibe while the e&c one is more home style. The food here is great. Good sized portions and great variety of dishes. Their dessert options feel a bit short but their mains are great!

Amazing and authentic food - the lomo saltado is soooooo good, brought back so many fond memories of Peru. The fritter dessert in hot honey was also delicious. The people who work there are lovely and are clearly passionate about the food. Had such a lovely birthday dinner here.

The food at the restaurant was delicious, no doubt, but the overall experience left much to be desired. The place was cramped, the heat was on overdrive, and the noise level was off the charts – felt like a party I didn't sign up for. Add to that the service, which was disappointingly slow. A culinary gem, but I left with a headache and a lukewarm impression. Save yourself the headache and find a place with both good food and a shred of decency.

Quite simple one of the best, authentic Peruvian restaurants in London. The team are all Peruvian and a large part of the clientele are too. As you would expect, the pisco sours were excellent and all the food was amazing. It brought back lots of great memories of my mum's cooking. Highly recommended.

The ambiance is inviting, the staff is friendly, and the food is superb.

For starters, had Yuca Balls and traditional Ceviche (to be honest, I’ve been in other Peruvian restaurants in other countries and the ceviche and yuca on this one was pretty below average based on previous experiences) (not bad at all just below average). For main I order a lomo saltado, once again nothing espectacular; it didn’t taste like they used a lot of fire power while cooking in the wok (more like steemed). Once again not a bad experience just I guess they could improve the food. 35-40gbp per person is about right

Excellent customer service. Don Cesar was very kind and professional. The place atmosphere was very cosy and it made me feel if I had step back in Peruvian restaurant in Peru. As a Peruvian I can say the food was delicious, specially the 'Causa Limeña' and 'Ají de Gallina' and the presentation of the dishes were impeccable. Even my English hubby wanted more of the 'Lomo saltado'! Lovely place to go with family and friends. I would recommend it a thousand times!

The ceviche here was excellent (I had the 'Tradicional' as a main dish). Not only the quality of the ingredients, but the leche de Tigre, the presentation of the dish, the type of corn and sweet potato that were used. The service was excellent. Kind, not intrusive, but somehow always there. If I could sell my house and move to be closer to this restaurant, and had enough money to come every night, I would. I have no hesitation bringing Peruvian friends here. I can see this restaurant gets consistently high ratings, and with good reason. I admit that I have been lucky enough to live in Peru, so for me the lighting felt appropriate and very comfortable. The TV with Peruvian shows (an early Tuesday evening meal) added to that genuine Latino atmosphere.

Great food and great service. We had a wide selection of dishes and it was all good and very authentic (it got a Peruvian’s seal of approval). They catered well for vegetarians too. The one thing missing was genuine Inka Cola.

It was not my first time here, but now I brought some English friends that had never had Peruvian food. They all enjoyed the experience very much! Particular dishes that they loved were the tamales, Chicharron and Lomo Saltado, also the huancaina sauce!

The ceviche was okay but not particularly outstanding nor was the lamb and seafood platter. It wasn’t as flavorful as I had imagined. I have never been to Peru, hence there isn’t any standard to base on but I have had much better Peruvian food in Spain surprisingly.

What a great night of good all peruvian hospitality and food for our birthdays , and to top it all two peruvian musicians who came to dine did a impromptu gig for us all. We love peruvian food having spent some in Lima Peru so know the their food quality was nearly same which we have had when we were there, we recommend them a try to give insight on authentic peruvian food.

Amazing food! The Anticuchos is one of the best meat dishes I've ever had. The waiter/owner was super friendly and very quick. We almost didn't have to wait for our food. This is one of those restaurants who just have everything sorted out and perfected. You can't skip this place if you're nearby or you'll regret.

What a gem! Came in on a whim with no reservation on a Sunday evening, got seated immediately by the lovely manager. We had some pisco sours which were delicious. We started with ceviches which were surprisingly generous in portion and perfectly balanced in flavour, they definitely don’t skimp out on the fish! We had two mains, the chicharron and the spicy seafood stew, both were excellent and again very generous. I was really impressed by how soft the squid was. Would absolutely come back, especially for the pisco and the ceviche. It has a real authentic vibe and the staff is incredibly welcoming. Loved it!

The expirence was delight 10out of 10. The waiter do good so professional and the Owner Oscar treat as like if we go there every week. The food so fresh and good I am so glad to find places like that. We have enjoy it all the service was the best tha girl who serve as take the time to explaint about the plates. Was are firts expirence. The prize was about £30 each but we enjoy every single minute there. In general good services and food great.

Ive been many times now, it’s consistently delicious! Authentic Peruvian ingredients, big portions, friendly staff. Traditional dishes with no tinkering. Easily my favourite restaurant.
