I visited Thurst last week as I was trying to stay local & didn’t fancy a busy town cafe. The sausage roll I had was delicious & service was excellent! I will be coming back with other friends from the Bury area!

Went here for lunch last week. Fantastic little place with plenty of space for children to run around and play. Had a tasty tuna melt toastie and they did half sized children’s sandwiches. Iced latte too was lovely. Great place to sit and relax with inviting seats inside and out and friendly service. Highly recommend!

We love Thurst coffee shop and often meet here with our children and friends. Vonnie is wonderful and my little boy always loves chatting to her! We love the cakes and sausage rolls, there is plenty to choose from and all really reasonably priced. There’s a lovely, big, outside area with shaded benches, and equipment for the children to play on. We have been back since lockdown and there’s lots of safety measures in place. Well worth a visit!

The cakes are legendary, and coffee is provided by local roastery Crude Coffee. Vonnie is super friendly and well liked by customers. A choice of sandwiches, jacket potatoes and gluten free options. Recently they have started offering non-dairy alternative milk. If you are looking for somewhere to come with the family or just to sit with your laptop, it's a nice space. Great value too. DISCLAIMER: I am a trustee at the New Green centre and I've had a hand in the redecorating and decor of the coffee shop, although I've used it several times as a customer and will come back again. I have nothing to do with the day-to-day running.

Wonderful welcome and a beautifully crafted, amazingly tasty meal…. sheer artistry. Created with care and just the right amount of imagination so that the flavours could all be enjoyed! Clearly made from fresh ingredients and with pride & skill. Thank you Frankie and your team! So, so good!

Visited on Mother's Day, and it was a lovely treat. We sat upstairs where it was nice and quiet. The pancake selection of both saboury and sweet was fantastic and the fact they can offer GF and vegan options too is great. Our lovely waitress also said they could adapt many of the others on the list too. We also ordered milkshakes (so great!) but next time I'm trying the hot chocolate. In fact I want to try the whole menu so I'll definitely be coming back on repeat. Such a unique little place, love it!
