Finally visited and can't wait to return. Wonderful service from really friendly staff. Delicious Thai lunch. Sitting by the river in the sun. What more could you want. It's just such a lovely spot. Search it out, it's worth it. But there's only a couple more days of the season. We'll have to be patient and wait for the spring to return. Can't wait!

What a lovely find! Difficult to find though so please search out you won't be disappointed. You can only go so far in your car, under a broken bridge then have to walk the rest of the way but not too far. Just keep walking! Come to a boat yard then the cafe is set beside the river, so peaceful. Cafe had a lovely selection of cakes and savory with proper china teapot and cups. Not too overpriced. Very friendly pleasant staff. Hopefully much business is generated by people arriving by boat. But please support if arriving by land too.

What a great little find and what a warm welcome. The setting is peaceful and set on the river. The coffee is very good and so too the food. We will be returning to try a Thai lunch. We are waiting for another warm and sunny day to enjoy being there even more.

Hard to find, down a bumpy track and across manual gated rail crossing but worth it. Great open spot by the river, nice traditional cafe food plus a Thai curry if you fancy . Ferry to whitlingham broad. Parking available. Toilet in a trailer caravan up steps.

Lovely setting by the river and a good experience getting there.Start off on an unmade bumpy road, then open gates and drive over railway lines then about half a mile through trees. But when you get there lovely coffee served by friendly lady. Will be back when the sun shines to sit outside and watch the boats go passed while having coffee and cake.

Great food, friendly staff. Step access at the front is a little difficult but well worth the effort

Great food, great value and great service from Dan. Hubby and I had sausage and bacon roll each cooked to our individual tastes, tea the same (how would you like it...strong, milky etc etc). Nothing was too much trouble and while cooking the locally sourced products to perfection he made a point of chatting. What a find - just shame that we were away for the weekend and do not live nearby. Thoroughly recommend.

Called in by chance when visiting Hoveton today. Had a cream scone and very good coffee. Proprietor very chatty and informative. There was a great selection of cakes and pastries as well as cooked food and proper coffee not just the machine varieties that many cafes use these days. Will call in again when passing this way.

We discovered Prima Rosa by chance when cycling to Salhouse Broad. We popped in for a coffee and stayed for nearly 2 hours. My daughters were enchanted by all the sparkly things and the cakes were amazing. The cakes were so good that we went out of our way on our next ride to pick up supplies for the day.

We have been away on holiday for 3 weeks, came back and the first thing we did…. Order a proper pizza from James and MJ. Just the best pizza you will eat.
