Tried tonight for the first time very good portion size and food was amazing thank you will be back .

We drove past and the smell was lovely so we knew we just had to try it. We ordered a pork and a chicken wrap. They were absolutely delicious. The meats had such a good flavour and both had a very nice portion of meat in them. Best souvlaki I've had outside of Greece! We will definitely be coming back its 10/10!

I just wanted to leave a review here as well, I already left one on Deliveroo. I have not physically been, but I have ordered and the food is spectacular! So fresh and delicious and the meat cooked perfectly. I loovveee the spicy feta dip too!! Also, I just put another order through Deliveroo for tonight and I did it 15 mins before closing time. I just want to apologise for this, I know how rude it is! But my partner and I love your food and he is a nurse and worked a 12 hour shift today, finishing at 7:30 PM so wanted him to have the food as fresh as possible. He really wanted to eat your food tonight!! This will definitely not happen again. We apologise, I know how inconsiderate this is! Once again, we love your food!! So happy to have you here in Norwich, you have no idea!!

The food is amazing, I’m very glad that we can finally have an original Greek souvlaki and Skepasti in Norwich. Everything we tried so far is delicious. We definitely recommend !!!

I've spent a fair bit of time in Greece, and I've had gyros a few times in Athens. These guys make absolutely authentic Greek street food: fresh and delicious. Do yourself a favour and give them a try.

I went here on my six form lunch break, and got halloumi souvlaki, It was AMAZING, the food was delicious and hot, both me and my friend thought it was great and reasonably priced, definitely coming again

Great food. The spicy feta dip is especially good. Plus the guys there where really nice. There was an issue with paying by card but they where really good at dealing with it. Will definitely go back. Don’t be put off by the location amazing food.

Big portions, very tasty food, both the meat and vegetarian options. Friendly staff that explained the menu. The baclava was also delicious. Don't expect fast food as everything is made to order, so a little wait is normal. Cards are accepted.

Wonderful food - totally authentic and so well priced. Don't let its car park location put you off, it's better than a lot of restaurants!

Saw this canteen online and just had to try, so glad we did. 30 minute drive and we had Pork Gyros, Baklava and Sour Cherry Loux, it was absolutely fantastic. All super authentic flavours, great quality, very friendly people and value for money.The photos are the Baklava and Loux as others have posted the Gyros before. We will definitely be going again, a genuine taste of Greece 👌

You might think you had souvlaki when you ordered from some other eastern-mediterranean restaurant. You didn't. This is the real deal - souvlaki exactly as in Greece, and GReat Gyros Canteen is the only place in Norwich to find it.

Everyone at work have been raving about this place and today I finally got the chance to try one. Completely lived up to the hype. Absolutely amazing flavours, very reasonably priced and filled me up nicely on my lunch break. The chap running it is ever so friendly. 100% will be back.

You get a good portion for your money. And it was really tasty, hot and fresh!

FINALLY... Some original Gyros taste. I couldn't find anything similar in this city. I am Greek too and this Pitta Gyros made me feel so nostalgic of my country's tastes. Excellent job and very friendly customer service. Totally worth it 👌

Honestly brilliant, first time trying this after a friend's recommendation and frankly if it wasn't for trying to be somewhat healthy, I'd be here everyday. Great food, great service and people and a good price.

Genuine gyros! Finally found a proper gyros at home, no need to wait til our next trip to Greece! I had the pork pitta gyros and will be back to sample the rest of the menu! The couple who served me were very friendly. I'm looking forward to going back! Sorry no photos to add as I scoffed it too quick!

Don't let the location fool you, you'd struggle to find a better gyros in Norwich. I went for the halloumi gyros and I was not disappointed, every thing from the bread to the sauce and even the fresh tomatoes they used. Even though I'm a vegetarian the meat looked very appetising.

A hidden gem! Absolutely great food, real Greek traditional food. Nice portion sizes and the people who cook are from Greece. A taste of Greece without getting on a plane.

I adore this place. Their wraps are incredible, I've tried the chicken, meatball and sausage and they're all amazing. I was reluctant to try anything else but had Skepasti on my last visit and did not regret it. It's delicious and a is really a full meal. I'm delighted to have this nearby. Service is excellent, it's run by a lovely couple. Best place for food for miles around.

I have not been back home (Athens Greece) for a couple of months so I thought I would try out the Great Gyros Canteen and I am very pleased that I did the σουβλάκι was excellent. So much so that I will be making the 45 minute journey from King's Lynn on a regular basis for no other reason than to get a taste of home. Μπράβο παιδιά και ευχαριστώ πολύ.

Best quick lunch you can have in the area. The food is prepared with notorious care and quality resulting in an excellent Gyros of generous portion. The pork Gyros is specifically tender and succulent. For my first time trying Greek food I was very impressed will come often here. Excellent customer service.

If you want authentic Greek souvlaki in Norwich, this is the place to go. The chicken gyro is my favourite - it's so flavourful and juicy. And the staff are always so friendly. I highly recommend it!
