The jerk here is so tasty. You can choose sweet ,spicy or extra hot - so it works for all palate’s. Love this with festival ! And not to mention the Mac and cheese - it’s heavenly The goat curry was okay - my favourite is the cheesy beef patty - the pastry is so delicious ! But don’t wait till the end of the day to order a patty as you may not get the one your after! I’ll be back to order again very soon

I usually order from here all the time but the last two orders have been terrible. Burnt sour tasting clearly off patty on my last order and now I am sick and ordered chicken soup - my chicken soup is missing they didn’t even bother calling to let me know or offer a replacement! This place is only going downhill I am so disappointed

Good food. Sometimes chicken is a bit on the burnt side, but it's better than being on the not cooked side I guess haha

Me and my octogenarian parents waited 20 mins while they cooked the food fresh. Mum was happy with waiting for that reason ie knowing the food was cooked properly. They gave us 2 complementary bottles of drink. I didnt know till i got to my car. Mum and Dad love their food and expect to make this a regular thing.

Unfortunately my experience wasn't pleasant when it came to the food . My order was Jerk Chicken with rice and Peas , festival, plantain, mutton soup and red pea soup. Pros- The jerk chicken and rice was a decent size. The plantain portain was also a good size portion. Cons- The jerk Chicken had next to no flavour and the same with the rice . The soups was both water with no flavour with some carrots and potatoes no meat or red peas (soup should not be water ) Plantain had no colour and was under cooked I did not receive my festivals. Be careful if they are out of the item they will scam you out of money!!!! This shop lied to Uber eats and said that I called them to cancel my order when in fact I did not they was out of mutton soup so I substituted it for chicken soup guess they was out of that too but instead of doing what a normal decent person would do and cancel the order through the restaurant they decided to lie and pin it on me I would honestly love to see proof of me calling the restaurant to cancel … oh wait there isn’t any because I simply didn’t. SO I’VE BEEN CHARGED because apparently they were already preparing my NONEXISTENT ORDER. They have just lost a loyal customer

Plantain is very young and tender - not ripened fully. Mac and cheese is literally cheesy pasta - not like back home at all. And most egregious - You forgot my coleslaw - I can't eat curry mutton without cole slaw! :-( Wasted money today.

Ordered a loud of food went out and bought breads and all to go with the food told to come back in 15-20 min after I’ve already paid then told nothing was left when I came back,piss take!! Jokes,never got wings and plus last time I had shattered bone through out my food Avoid as I will never give any business here again!!!

I've ordered from here many of occasions, however on this date the food didn't taste quite the same? I noticed on tracking the rider that he had been in and around Park Royal, making two stops,one on Abbey Road before getting to me. I did wonder how the food was still piping hot? Maybe he used another microwave at a different location to keep it so hot?! The container the food came in was burnt, some what. NOT blaming the restaurant, but the delivery.

Delivery man left my food by the side road he was not there when came out to get my food! I can not eat food left outside I’m not a fox that’s nasty and I want a refund! You keep hiring people that don’t care

The place was recommended to us by a friend. We went there and were told we had to wait 25 mins for our order if we ordered, we agreed and ordered 2 portions of jerk chicken. We went back within the allotted timeframe only to be told that she had one chicken left and we would need to wait 45 mins more for the next one. Strange when we had already ordered and paid for chicken that was already on the grill about 30 mins ago. So clearly they sold our food to other people. Customer service gets a zero from me, but the food was good! She did give us some freebies to try to compensate but what she did was unacceptable.

If I had a choice of rating this it would be a 0 , but google didn’t give me a choice to, so it’s a 1 star from me! This restaurant is really bad at executing the basic skill with human communication. Spoke to lady this afternoon over the phone to order lunch however I was abruptly spoken over by her telling to come collect with the 5minutes of ordering. I went to collect and I saw a drink in the fridge and asked her if I could have it meaning pay for it in the side, I was then told that it only comes with certain meals. I just gave her the money and walked out . Never in my life was I treated this bad. 0 star for this establishment!

Their food is amazing, but no customer service skills at all. I went there one evening and met an extremely angry man chef who was rude and seemed like he was on his period or going through the menopause. I ordered my food once he went to the kitchen I walked off without saying anything. I made him prepare the food for no reason. I Would rather spend money where I am valued as a customer.

Driver did two deliveries I saw on the map then comes to me last and food is cold. Absolutely not acceptable. Driver states just eat gave him two orders!!! Why use just eat if you have to wait over and hour for your food!

I was pleased at the food we got and the time, which is why I know I will be ordering again with them soon.

As always with Cool Runnings, the food was wonderful and tasted delicious. The only issue I have, is with the mixed meat wrap, I thought the pineapple was going to be separate from the wrap but that's me making an issue out of nothing, as this food wrap still tasted nice. My only beef is with the so-called discount I have, worth more than £19. I've yet to have this placed on any food I've ordered since, from Cool Runnings.

I made an order of oxtail with rice and peas alongside brow stew chicken and Jerk chicken. I had some and left some over so I could eat it in the morning to my suprise the rice and peas was spoilt. I could tell the rice and peas did not cook on the same day I ordered it. The meat was nice.

I did not received 2x patties= £5.50 please refund asap. Also time of delivery kept changing!

Absolutely delicious food, generous portions, they always keep you informed if something you order is out of stock and ask if you want something else. Very polite and they didn't have my fried fish so gave me alternative as well as some extras. Thanks so much to the team and they are my local go to for carribean food and I definately recommend to anyone to try them you won't be disappointed.

Not so good red peas soup, worst red peas soup, does not resemble red peas soup, watery, taste bad, full of carrots, one tiny piece of potatoe, full of carrots, awful Not nice.

.I have nothing but praise for Cool Runnings food/restaurant. My family and I have always been happy with the food from this organisation. My only gripe, is to say offer some cheesecake desserts, hopefully chocolate ones!

Came here to this take away on the way home for an event. Restaurant staff were lovely and very helpful in pointing out popular dishes. We came near closing so most things were sold out but we were able to order quite a selection. We had the large jerk chicken with rice and beans, the ox tail with rice and beans, Festival (sweet donut like fried bread), coleslaw, Mac and cheese, fried chicken with mild sauce (other options include bbq, moderate spicy). The smokiness of the jerk chicken was so delicious. Oxtail was fall off the bone. We also tried the pineapple punch which tasted like pins colada and the Guinness punch (acquired taste). Overall even the customers were so friendly and just made the atmosphere fitting for authentic Caribbean cuisine.

Quality meals, excellent service and generous portions. Highly recommend them

Took ages but was worth the wait

I normally enjoy my food from here, but this time around I am not sure what happened. The chicken soup flavours was great, but might as well call it vegetable soup as there was more bone than chicken. The portion of plantain was not cooked/fried properly was very yellow dripping in oil & my brown stew chicken meal was drenched in sauce with boney chicken. Was There a change in the kitchen? I don’t know, but something was off & I was very disappointed especially when hungry.

After reading the reviews I was very sceptic 🤨 about trying there food 🥘 and if I’m honest cos I’m serious about my food especially caribbean food and I will tell you the customer service was amazing and the lady that worked today 23/07/23 you was polite and courteous even when I changed my order she even told me how long will be cos they had to cook the plantains which wasn’t the problem as I hate cooked plantain’s from 10am in the morning 🙄the food taste nice and well cooked the oxtail was tender till the bones can even chew 😊not gonna lie ain’t had that from a Jamaican restaurant in years only thing them need is stools for the restaurant for one or 2 people could sit and eat. Other than that great food and great service.

It took an hour and a half to arrive and when it did, half of my order was missing. When I called the restaurant they claimed someone had called me but they didn’t. The meat is poor quality and the portions are small! It was a total waste of money

Used to go here years ago and it wasn't perfect but I was never put off from returning. Having not used them for a quute soke time I recently returned several times in the spate of a month and I am not a meat eater so I cannot comment on the jerk or most of what is served here. However the service needs work especially via phone; my word it is poor. "The line is not working properly so I cannot hear you, you have to come in and make your order", this after confirming that they have what I want on the very same line, in the very same conversation. This is what happens every time. I feel it is their default response to telephone orders for collection, and irrsepective of whatever they are trying to mitigate against, it is poor!! Inside the shop itself, the service is a level better but there is work to be done here too. I want to support Black businesses but dare I say, do not take your customer base for granted. Personally, the best thing about here is the music.

The food tastes good and I usually have a good experience, but… I Ordered a Large Oxtail (Cost me £13) and in return I got a container of rice and steamed veg… and a tiny portion of oxtail. Disgraceful.

One of the staff is lovely but rest quite rude. After running a Caribbean restaurant for a few years I must say this is extremely disappointing second time ordering curry mutton. Second time dry as a leather boot. Serving it with rice is pointless as it's all dry no sauce at all

This wasn't good at all. The plantain was undercooked, the chicken was all bones, they filled up the box with cabbage which I hate and didn't order. The brown stew was not nice at all it was thick and goopy. The festivals were not good either.. spent £50 on food just to basically throw it all in the bin. Absolutely terrible
