Ordered on deliveroo two days ago. This is BY FAR the best quality Caribbean food I’ve ever had in London. The jerk chicken is prepared extremely fresh bbq style. Very very very impressed.

terrible customer service i don’t recommend it

The place was recommended to us by a friend. We went there and were told we had to wait 25 mins for our order if we ordered, we agreed and ordered 2 portions of jerk chicken. We went back within the allotted timeframe only to be told that she had one chicken left and we would need to wait 45 mins more for the next one. Strange when we had already ordered and paid for chicken that was already on the grill about 30 mins ago. So clearly they sold our food to other people. Customer service gets a zero from me, but the food was good! She did give us some freebies to try to compensate but what she did was unacceptable.

If I had a choice of rating this it would be a 0 , but google didn’t give me a choice to, so it’s a 1 star from me! This restaurant is really bad at executing the basic skill with human communication. Spoke to lady this afternoon over the phone to order lunch however I was abruptly spoken over by her telling to come collect with the 5minutes of ordering. I went to collect and I saw a drink in the fridge and asked her if I could have it meaning pay for it in the side, I was then told that it only comes with certain meals. I just gave her the money and walked out . Never in my life was I treated this bad. 0 star for this establishment!

Their food is amazing, but no customer service skills at all. I went there one evening and met an extremely angry man chef who was rude and seemed like he was on his period or going through the menopause. I ordered my food once he went to the kitchen I walked off without saying anything. I made him prepare the food for no reason. I Would rather spend money where I am valued as a customer.

Get orders wrong most of the time be careful when using uber.

I made an order of oxtail with rice and peas alongside brow stew chicken and Jerk chicken. I had some and left some over so I could eat it in the morning to my suprise the rice and peas was spoilt. I could tell the rice and peas did not cook on the same day I ordered it. The meat was nice.

Really needs modernising. The food was good! Slightly pricey as no drink was included.

The food is lovely and reasonably priced. Customer service is on point big up the the young ladies at the front of house you are greatly appreciated and the chefs to I enjoy my food every time without fail so thankyou all :) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Came here to this take away on the way home for an event. Restaurant staff were lovely and very helpful in pointing out popular dishes. We came near closing so most things were sold out but we were able to order quite a selection. We had the large jerk chicken with rice and beans, the ox tail with rice and beans, Festival (sweet donut like fried bread), coleslaw, Mac and cheese, fried chicken with mild sauce (other options include bbq, moderate spicy). The smokiness of the jerk chicken was so delicious. Oxtail was fall off the bone. We also tried the pineapple punch which tasted like pins colada and the Guinness punch (acquired taste). Overall even the customers were so friendly and just made the atmosphere fitting for authentic Caribbean cuisine.

After reading the reviews I was very sceptic 🤨 about trying there food 🥘 and if I’m honest cos I’m serious about my food especially caribbean food and I will tell you the customer service was amazing and the lady that worked today 23/07/23 you was polite and courteous even when I changed my order she even told me how long will be cos they had to cook the plantains which wasn’t the problem as I hate cooked plantain’s from 10am in the morning 🙄the food taste nice and well cooked the oxtail was tender till the bones can even chew 😊not gonna lie ain’t had that from a Jamaican restaurant in years only thing them need is stools for the restaurant for one or 2 people could sit and eat. Other than that great food and great service.

Used to go here years ago and it wasn't perfect but I was never put off from returning. Having not used them for a quute soke time I recently returned several times in the spate of a month and I am not a meat eater so I cannot comment on the jerk or most of what is served here. However the service needs work especially via phone; my word it is poor. "The line is not working properly so I cannot hear you, you have to come in and make your order", this after confirming that they have what I want on the very same line, in the very same conversation. This is what happens every time. I feel it is their default response to telephone orders for collection, and irrsepective of whatever they are trying to mitigate against, it is poor!! Inside the shop itself, the service is a level better but there is work to be done here too. I want to support Black businesses but dare I say, do not take your customer base for granted. Personally, the best thing about here is the music.

The food tastes good and I usually have a good experience, but… I Ordered a Large Oxtail (Cost me £13) and in return I got a container of rice and steamed veg… and a tiny portion of oxtail. Disgraceful.

One of the staff is lovely but rest quite rude. After running a Caribbean restaurant for a few years I must say this is extremely disappointing second time ordering curry mutton. Second time dry as a leather boot. Serving it with rice is pointless as it's all dry no sauce at all

Worst establishments I have ever tried to order from, lady who picks up the phone was the worst person I’ve ever spoken too. Do not go through the stress of ordering from here. I cant even taste the food because she didn’t want to place the order and then proceeds to block my phone number.

Terrible service very rude, dirty, food tasted stale and the chips tasted like fish, because they were fried in dirty oil.

Havent had this place in years, fancied some jerk so thought I would order as I dont live in commuting distance anymore. Good points: - portion or rice and jerk plenty - food arrived hot - food was fresh and well seasoned. - Authentic flavours Some things that need to be worked on: - jerk was a little soft, didnt have the pan crunch to it - the coleslaw size to meal size is laughable (it was in sauce container) - more sustainable packaging - festivals are very soft more of a cakey texture (personal preference) Overall loved it, price likkle high but the cost of every ah rise up.

I can’t recommend this place enough! The grub is top notch! Proper authentic flavours. Everything on the menu is 10/10 I’m being absolutely serious! It never misses, every time it hits and scores! Seen this place on insta, recognised it (I'm not local) & thought I'd try it for brunch. Well I've kissed a few (a lot) preverbal Caribbean takeaway frogs across London, however this one turned out to be a beautiful festival, jerk chicken & pattie mistress that I would come back to again. The lamb pattie was meaty the pastry was flakey but held together nicely, the festival had just come out of the dutchie (great timing) crispy/ crunchy on the outside fluffy & light in the middle. I was only going light brunch but the lady serving this am was friendly, courteous & approachable convinced me to try a little piece of jerk chicken (pride in their food) on the house which was really good. Great service it was much appreciated & I will be back. Lickle tip: can you try fit cornmeal/ homnie corn porridge on the menu please!

Well Well Well. I am so impressed firstly I was told about it by a friend who said try it and tell me your opinion. I thought she was been bias cos she likes eating out. BUT she mentioned firstly how FRIENDLY the staff were then she mentioned the food. I was sceptical because I've noticed the majority of carribean/jamaican food place are aggressive and rude. I was going to turn around and I thought why not try based on her review. Trust me when I say this is by far the best service I have ever received from a Jamaican shop. I then went in my car and tasted the food. My goodness this is the real deal, everything was fresh, I lick off me finger clean. I've recommended to all my family and friends. I even had to tell of one for making me drive past this shop to go harlesden several times to get food that was not in this category 😆 Keep up the good work JERK CENTRE, with that attitude alone people will always come. My other friend agree it was the best jerk chicken him taste from a restaurant. He is a typical yard man who dont eat from nobody. I wanted to turn the car around and buy out the shop but I did feel too shame. 😆 anyone give a negative then either you are a Top chef serving buckingham palace or you have mental health issues. 😉 ok one lickle negative the delay,. But that certainly never put me off.

Ordered medium mutton soup on a Sunday and was surprised it was very tasty and had just been freshly cooked. My curry mutton and rice and peas was tasty and plenty. Both meals cost £13 very good value for money. Was impressed and will be back. Oh my goodness must add the customer services was spot on really polite helpful and approachable. I'm a happy customer.

Order came with no drink (£4.50 ginger beer) ordered jerk lamb got roast lamb with gravy ( spicy) nothing jerk about it .. plenty of rice and peas tho … beef patty was good 7/10 ps gutted I didn’t believe the other reviews £23 down and hungry!!!

A decent Caribbean place that does good portions of jerk. The food is well worth the drive to purchase onsite. The staff are helpful enough to give you guidance on how to flavour the food to your taste. The drinks fridge is also stacked with a choice of Caribbean fruit juices and canned beverages.

The food is freshly cooked, seasoned perfectly and the portions are generous. I love the jetk chicken, the roasted seabass stuffed with callaloo, red peas soup, oxtail, curried mutton, steamed vegetables, macaroni cheese and patties. I cannot wait to try more items on the menu. The service, like the food, is really good. The staff are always welcoming, warm and professional.

great chicken, great Jamaican food.

Very disappointed with the Jerk Lamb. There was nothing "jerk" about it. The lamb was basically boiled and cooked down. I thought it would of been cooked on the jerk pan or something similar. Not happy to have paid £10 for that. Jerk chicken was nice, just a little burned.

I order food from Deliveroo, After waiting for 45 mints the restaurant called, been told that one of the item was finished 30 mints before I place an order. I will not order anything’s from this place it’s scam

I am totally unimpressed with the service and the length of time that myself and a few other customers had to wait. After we had ordered our meals to get the food the quality was very poor. I will most certainly not be returning there again. If you have about 45 minutes to 1 hour to wait then you be fine good luck .

One of my new favourite Jamaican restaurants. Very friendly and attentive staff. Good value for money and reasonable portion size. I would highly recommend the Jerk Chicken (on it's own or as a meal). If you are a soup fan, I would recommend the Red Peas Vegetable Soup.

Always exceptional customer service with great tasting food. Only place my daughter and I eat Caribbean food in the area. I definitely recommend especially the jerk lamb.

Food is definitely good. I've had the jerk chicken and fry dumplins a couple of times and it's been great each time. Food is fresh and tastes amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Cool Running Jerk centre, good place for Jerk chicken and lamb however you can only go to the shop to order there no phone delivery service.

What can I honestly say 1.. there went above and beyond to fulfill my needs for a beautiful meal to celebrate my birthday with a few friends the jerk was amazing the mutton was beautiful the akee and salt fish was lush. Thank you so much I know for future to call up and pre book are food due to waiting long but even so travelling back to amersham the food was still warm and was certainly worth the wait. Made my order via ubereats for a disabled individual. Waited 45 minutes for 2 soups and a ginger beer only to be told by uber that they didn't have the food and the restaurant tried contacting me (somehow uber could call me but not the restaurant?). Poor service and sad to say its typical. Huge waste of time

I am a regular customer here they have changed up everything here the chicken was dry and after asking for the sauce plenty of times I paid £50 after complaining and getting the sauce my food was cold they refunded £10 I brought many of my friends here and will never come back here again. They fell off not as good as it used to be !

best BBQ i had. the portion are decent as well and the food is wholesome as you will feel filled with the meat. also do not try their hottest sauce if you are not into spicy food. for the lovers of spicy try it and you are hooked. customer service is also great. they are always ready for banter. if you feel like they are expensive. then go to the cheap general chicken shop franchise. If you want good food don't want to cook and feel filled this is the place

Very good portions of authentic tasty, carribean healthy food and drink.. We bought three £7 main meals, 4 sides, 4 deserts and some extra portions of jerk chicken and it fed 5 of us with some still over in the trayat the end. 1 spent £40 for 3 adults and 2 kids not bad at all...

The food is delicious here but the service can be very slow at times especially in the evenings. The Jerk Chicken is tasty and the mac & cheese is nice but not always freshly cooked which is just lazy other then that food is decent.

Loved the dinner box friendly staff. Shop could do with with a refit and entrance mat cleaned as it's an eye sore
