Super friendly pub, great atmosphere and a good duke box.

My kind of place. Great night after a bothy trip.. A level pool table 🥇 And what a duke box... S.L.A.Y.E.R -Motorhead - AC/DC - Metallica - Iron Maiden absolutely brilliant.

Really enjoyed my time there. Friendly bar staff and customers with a brilliant juke-box. Possibly the best bar in Dumfries. Good view of the river Nith. Security top notch with conscientious local people. If you are solo drinking I would recommend. David J.

First visit today, 28 may. Clean and tidy. Beautiful pint of Tartan. (Old school that is) Kim was very welcoming, cheerful. . Being a former licencee I was impressed . (One small gripe, music too loud for an afternoon drink) Will return. Thankyou KIM for your warm hospitality.

If you want a drink before you get the bus home from the sands then ideal. Take a window seat, have a drink and watch for it coming rather than stand waiting in the bus stance. No sure if its been recently decorated but looked very fresh and tidy. Even got a pool table to help pass the time.

Music too loud. Staff very cheerful and polite. Prices are excellent. Only gave it one star because of the music.
