Great night of good wine, good food and fabulous company in the lovely atmosphere of The Wine Press. Only slight negative was the very cold draught every time the door opened.

Fantastic place. Popped in for a beer late afternoon. Really nice. Went back same evening same for food and drinks as menu and atmosphere really appealing. Food was fantastic, service excellent. Prices reasonable for the quality/quantity. Really friendly staff, really welcoming and as we left, gave pointers for other venues. Really nice place and well worth a visit.

Cosy, great selection of wine and beers. Can get crowded. Wine is very good, but can be expensive. Food is not to my taste (not an antipasti fan) but Mrs T tells me it's tasty enough.

This seemed to be the place that all the local design folks come to gather after work. VERY busy at around 5:30 on a weekday. The baked camembert was amazing, and the drinks were BEAUTIFULLY done.

Cracking bar offering a decent pint of 71 Brewery lager and a multitude of wine options. The food on offer looks excellent also. Well worth the visit.

Great place just to chill out with bottle of cabernay sauvignon and watch the world go by. Had a sharing charcuterie platter plus couple of bar snacks which were excellent.

What a find! Adored this place, the range of drinks and beautiful decor. We arrived quite late and were met with welcoming, helpful staff and delicious bar snacks. The selection of bread and dipping oils is recommended.

Amazing place to sit outside and enjoy a glass, venu seems like it would be a little cramped on a busy night but hard to say with it being a wine bar. The menu of wines is great, tried 4 different glasses and all had very individual flavour profiles. Well worth stopping by

Lovely place and GREAT staff team. Seems like a beautiful, happy place to work. Certainly a great place to chill and you can take your dog. That says it all for me.

This place is very nice & I think it may be dog friendly. Lovely selection of drinks & food. I would say that the food is a bit on the pricey side for what you get. I will definitely go back but next time, I'll eat first. The service is very good, the staff are all very friendly.

First visit in a long time on a very busy Friday evening. Managed to get the last two seats at the bar , friendly welcome from barmaid, ordered our bottle of wine and enjoyed our visit. The male server was kept very busy taking table orders for drinks and food platters. Great friendly atmosphere, hopefully will return again very soon , and manage to sit in their outside seating area, weather permitting. :)

First time I visited this bar. Clean and pretty spacious considering the amount of tables. Staff were polite, attentive and friendly.

Fabulous! Great service, first class wine and the tastiest Charcuterie board. What’s not to love. Definitely worth a visit.

Tried a few different taster wines from automatic machine. Great idea if you don't know what you want. Also had a sharing board. Very tasty.

Not difficult to find with the place being on the river front in Dundee - but a great find while on an overnight stay in the city. Nice venue, great staff. Good selection of wine and some nibbles.

Perfect place for couples and women alone. Wonderful wine and excellent tapas style nibbles. I feel happy, secure and at home in this bar. Also very dog friendly.

Great bar with a do it yourself wine dispenser so you can try wines for £2 ish. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere, did not have food but looked good.

Dog friendly usually, but I felt the last time I was in I wasn't as welcomed as usual n and it put me off going back. Staff are usually very nice maybe just an off night

This was my first time visiting, my wife had been before and spoke positively about it. We were wandering along the Waterfront of Dundee and stopped by for a glass of Fizz. A nice selection of wines and a busy bar, with a fantastic atmosphere and great setting near the waterfront developments.

Excellent place for lunch and a few drinks. All Covid precautions adhered to. Young and very pleasant staff. I always pop in here when visiting my daughter in Dundee. Food excellent, craft beer on draft. Only downside was we had a prepaid mastercard which they could not accept as they didn't have a reader for it. Other than that all great.

Great place to eat and drink whilst visiting Dundee. Fantastic selection of wine and beers with lovely friendly staff, who always love to fuss over our dogs.

Went in for a quiet drink on a wet day but found that one patron felt he had to shout his conversation louder than the music so we could hear nothing but him. Staff should be more attentive to this, especially given how quiet the place was, not many people in. The fare seemed OK and felt it was quite pricey for Dundee.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere, pies and soup were excellent. Fantastic place for lunch catching up with old friends.

Love this place. Really nice atmosphere and the food platters are really nice. As the name suggests it has an excellent wine selection but a few nice beers as well.

Popped in for a couple of drinks for my birthday and got a wee cup cake and a rendition of happy birthday. 😄

Absolutely lovely wine bar, with particularly friendly people, good food of a platter/tapas style and some exceptionally well-chosen wines in an enomatic machine, as well as the bar which also had very good local beers. It always has music to add atmosphere - a bit louder but well-judged and not intrusive in the evening, and softer at lunchtime when it is usually quieter.

Lovely place for a pre dinner wine, if your unsure which to choose just ask the bar staff who are more than happy and on hand to help you decide. The tables and bar were kept clean the whole time we were there even when it happened to get a bit more busier.

We were recommended this place and were glad that we went. Friendly staff, nice food and so many different wines. You can try different wines in a 25ml glass for about £1 which is a nice touch.

Best wine bar in the city with great sharing boards

This Wine bar is very well run. I went there and met my clients for a wedding that I will organise for them next year and we were served from 2 waitresses very kind and polite . There is a very good size of parking space just outside of the bar and that is a great deal too.. The music was not aloud and that was just the great things for us to talk about the catering . Fantastic !

Great place to catch up with friends and get a bite to eat. Customers are very friendly with sharing tables and a feeling of just mucking in to find somewhere to sit and relax. Great choice of self-service wine or from the bar staff who know about the wine on offer and are willing to help out as needed.

Fantastic little spot, ideal for a wine in the afternoon with some friends.
