Great little pub outside Trent Bridge cricket ground.I would highly recommend.

Lovely little pub, smack opposite The Trent Bridge Inn, Lana the young lady that served us our drinks and food, was extremely polite, professional and courteous. The food was exceptional, definitely homemade and cooked to order We'll definitely be going back 👌🏽

Holy moly this place is offering on the website 3 courses for £30 over Christmas for a couple of people, so clicked on the book now link and booked for Christmas day, which it let me do no problem- only to get an email a few days later asking for £280 quid from a bloke called owen 🤣 erm I don't think so, what insanely ridiculous prices- and maybe stop misleading customers with your customers with the prices. Avoid

Really nice bar with exceptional food, staff welcoming efficient and friendly. We will definitely be making a return visit and would highly recommend this establishment.

It was nice to sit outside. The entire frontage was opened up for a great duo. The singer had a lovely voice. The atmoshere was very relaxed, and the service was great. An enjoyable time was had.

Ordered chicken tender loaded fries, came without the chicken because they apparently were low because it was busy and still charged full price.

The staff in the William Gunn are without doubt the best in Bridgford. They always go out of their way, even when it's packed for cricket or football - always smiling and chatty and unpretentious 😁 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We called for a meal tonight, food a little pricey but very nice, service fantastic 3 girls rotating bar & service all brilliant! We would definitely come again, lovely atmosphere and people, there are not many bars like this! Enjoy!

Great little place with plenty to offer. I didn't particularly like the cheese sauce on the loaded fries but everything else was perfect.

Nice Sunday lunch - good quality ingredients and portion size. Been a few times for drinks and always a nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

More of a sports viewing environment than a regular pub, food is lush. on a hot day the outdoor seating catches the sun perfectly.

Frist time visit on Sunday.staff very friendly made you very welcome.even had a chap walking round and if he seen your glass nearly empty he asked if you wanted another drink then fetch it for you.will definitely be returning..

Cracking evening with Fothers interviewing former Forest player Chris Bart-Williams who came across very well with some good tales of the 90’s version of NFFC. Great looking venue with decent drinks menu. The steak pie was fantastic so will definitely return to try some more of the menu. Congrats to Tom and the team for coming up with yet another great venue in Nottingham. Their track record is unrivalled in this area. Look forward to some more of the Fothers and Friends evenings.

This pub is outstanding. It is really modern and it has only been open a few months. I went for Sunday lunch with my dad and I have to say it was outstanding. It was really tasty and delicious. I had a cauliflower cheese as a side order and this was really nice. Then I had to finish off with the sticky Toffee Pudding with custard for dessert. We'll what can I say it definitely got my taste buds going and it was superb. I would definitely recommend it to everybody x x

Popped in around last Orders, so didn't get much time here. Nice spot, good selection of beers and lots of TVs showing sport. Will definitely return earlier in the evening.

I came here while on holiday from Boston, US. We came in because it looked very inviting and modern. the staff were very friendly, made us feel welcome, when we came they had a staff shortage and we waited awhile for food but the staff kept us well informed and gave us drinks on the house. The food was so good- better than what i’ve had in America, I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

It was Steak night, 2 steaks and a bottle of wine for £30. Steaks were cooked perfectly as were the sides. Excellent value for money. Lovely staff. Friendly and very helpful. Great addition to West Bridgford. Definitely be back

Stylish and pleasant modern pub in Nottingham, close to Trent Bridge Stadium and the river Trent. The pub owners say that they have 2 or 3 cask ales on all the time (see reply), maybe it was too late in the evening (I had just left the Robin Hood Beer Festival) or I didn't look close enough, because I didn't see them. If you're looking for a place to hang out and relax and can abide by mostly lagers on offer, The William Gunn is actually very nice - especially the outside seating area on a mild autumn afternoon. Friendly staff.

Popped in for lunch unexpectedly and so glad I did. I'm a bit of a Sport memorabilia geek so loved all that, but I digress. The food was superb. A lovely roast, but my choice of the Burger was superb and I know my burgers! Very friendly staff and love the traditional feel it has. Deserves to be a success, will definitely be going back.

Went with my Mum as it's a new venue in town - really enjoyed it, lovely staff and even enjoyed a drink outside in the evening sunshine ☀️

Great range of locally brewed beers plus plenty of tasty food options available.

Lovely bar, but not a good selection on lagers only 3 Carling, Staropram, Madri could do with Peroni and/or Heineken as well
