nicest cooked breakfast I have had in a cafe for a long time, the portion size was really good and the ingredients tasted fresh and were cooked very well, I would definitely recommend. the coffee was also great and the servers were really friendly

Super gluten-free, coeliac-friendly fayre, I had smoked salmon with cream cheese sandwich served with salad n coleslaw 👌... photo shows only half - too good to not eat straight away 😊

Sandwich was great, and very good gluten free options. Espresso was a nice flavour although more pressure while tamping would have created a better crema.

I had a fantastic experience at Forde’s! The coffee was rich and flavourful. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This is definitely my new go-to spot for a great cup of coffee. Highly recommend!

We regularly go to Ford's. Every time we get an excellent service and the lunch time coffee and panini is always excellent. The best salad 🥗 accompaniment that we have found. Pleasant staff too😎

Me, my partner and my kids come here all the time and it have never let us down. You are spoilt for choice with coffee is West Bridgford but the reason we always come here is the brilliant staff and in particular the owner!

Went in for just for a coffee but had a delicious bacon cob as well...really clean and comfy and staff are really friendly and nice.......definitely going to go back rather than Costa or Nero......highly recommended.

Delicious New Yorker sandwich for lunch. Oat milk flat white was perfect. Service was exceptional. Definitely a bright spot on the high street so dominated by corporate chains. Keep it up guys!!

Nice place but a bit cramped. Nice sandwiches, sweet staff. Don't sit near the door though. In winter at any rate. Most of their customers don't close the door, not giving a scooby doo about the old geezer sitting in the draft. There is no closer on the door so it relies on good manners and sadly, 9 out of 10 of their customers don't have them.

When working in Nottingham, we found this place looking for lunch, having been a couple places in the area. The food was so nice we didn't bother to try anywhere else after the fact. The staff and manager in particular are absolutely fantastic and so friendly. We always come when we are in the area.

We went for lunch and had the New Yorker sandwich on ciabatta. Oh my goodness it was amazing. Lovely friendly staff and it was nice and warm in there too.

Nobody ever clears the tables and after ordering at the counter (2 coffees), the wait was over 5 minutes. So many staff but no organisation. Been several times and, if anything, it gets worse. The cakes are lovely but they're bought in!

It was my first time at this lovely cafe. A warm and cosy place. The ambience was unique- a nice independent where locals were valued as I observed the manager and staff be friendly and welcoming. I really enjoyed my gluten free toasted sandwich and pot of tea. A real gem of a place. Look forward to visiting soon!

My favourite spot in Bridgford, this review really is overdue. The staff are excellent, the food is very tasty and served promptly and the cafe area is clean and well looked after. The coffee itself deserves a mention as it has a "clean" taste; it has never been served burnt and it's obvious they take care of their coffee machine. In my photo is a mocha and the New Yorker (pastrami, Swiss cheese, gherkins, mustard)

Brilliant independent cafe with caring and friendly staff - I popped in for a panini and latte which were both served fresh by a staff member called Sami. She was extremely helpful with checking my dietary needs and made a beautiful coffee (see photo attached!). Would highly recommend this spot for a quick bite to eat or some high quality coffee. Will definitely be dining here again in the future!

Love this place, I try to drop by at least once a week. The staff are friendly and fantastic as is Peri, the owner. Great sandwiches, excellent coffee, you can even get a Greek coffee if you ask nicely. Family run, chilled vibe, I'd highly recommend Fordes.

Lovely, friendly staff. Great service. Just disappointed with the ‘tomato’ soup - it was definitely Heinz and not homemade 😔 so felt a bit ‘ripped off’. Salad and ham/cheese croissant both good and cakes looked amazing though we didn’t try one. Cater well for my GF daughter.

Family came from Leicester looking for a quick spot to have a hot drink and stumbled across this lovely family own buisness. Staff were so friendly! Drinks we're amazing and the brownies and chocolate torte was to die for . We went in 5 mins before they were going to close and staff still had smiling faces and made us feel welcome and gave us chocolate torte to take home how kind of them ! Will definitely be coming back 🥰

Just got my first Magic Bag from Forde's via the Too Good to Go App! So lovely to see establishments trying to help reduce food wastage! The pastries I got were delicious and the staff were so lovely. Would definitely recommend.

Ordered from the too good to go app Had egg custard and some other thing I literally have no idea what it was bit tasted good. The egg custard was the best I've tasted. I paid £3 for my order which is great. But £9 (the price it's meant to be ) was a bit too much to pay for 4 cakes

After a tense 5 a side tournament between two bitter rivals, both teams came together to settle their differences over a late lunch at Forde’s Coffee. West Bridgeford has plenty of establishments to eat at, but it has to be said the Forde’s coffee is the best. Great staff, lovely food and a tidy decor - you won’t be disappointed stopping here - fully recommend!!

Had a flat white and a piece of the new vegan chocolate banana bread which were both excellent. Staff were lovely and generously offered us a complimentary coffee as the card machine was down, will definitely be coming back again.

I have just visited Fordes following the covid closure. Staff are welcoming and knowledgeable, are always happy to see you and chat. My favourite sandwich- toasted panini Brie, mixed peppers and red onion chutney. Yummy!! Coffee always excellent quality, the barista really know their beans ( pun intended)! Can highly recommend the dark chocolate brownie ( little cocoa nibs inside) - absolutely delicious 😋😋 Lovely to see you open again Will definitely be returning 👍

A friend and I went for our first trip here in a while as lockdown had put paid to our visits and unfortunately the original Fordes eventually closed for good. The new Fordes didn’t disappoint and the makeover it’s had during closure is lovely, fresh new flooring and sumptuous wall colour really sets the tone and the green tea and coffee and food we had were all lovely! The new owner has done a great job all round and I would recommend anyone to pay a visit here, especially as the prices are so good and you don’t feel ripped off because of the location. Once the new chairs and tables arrive it’ll be a five star review 👍🏻😊

Great coffee great service! The super dark brownie was out of this world, but was very hard to not order every cake on display as they all looked delicious!

Love it here. They have a great selections of sandwiches or theres the option of homemade soup or jacket potatoes. Gluten free and dairy free options available. Very helpful and friendly staff. It's a lovely place to sit and eat lunch and watch the world go by

Good service, good choice, good food.

Reasonable price and good quality. I had a New Yorker baguette and an Americano. Very happy with the speed of service and seating space. The environment is warm and dry, which is extremely comfortable while having breakfast.

Arranged to collect an order between 4-5pm; arrived at 4:04pm and they were closed!

I love it here it is amazing food and I had my buffet from Sarah the owner of Fordes. Everyone at my party said that the food was superb. The atmosphere is great always buzzing. My favourite is the coronation chicken it is the best in Nottingham!!!!
