My family and I go to this cafe quite often, I've had the breakfast items, the lunch items and this little cafe is by far the best cafe I've been to. The food is always spot on and prices are great. Like even the toast is wonderfully hot and well buttered. 100% will always go here.

Comida gloriosa casera, dulces y salados, una cálida bienvenida por parte del personal y excelentes vistas del canal y de los libros de la biblioteca.

This small cafe is at the back of Failsworth Library, which is in Failsworth Town Hall. It has some outside seating , next to the Rochdale Canal. Also by the outside seating is the Failsworth Growing Hob, a small voluntary organisation growing vegetables and herbs. On the way out of the Town Hall is a "Community Fridge" where some of the Hub's produce is donated. The place was buzzing with families and children when I dropped in for coffee and cake, homemade and wholesome of course. Very friendly and helpful staff. Not to be missed if visiting Failsworth.

We decided to go for a Chinese as we headed home from Manchester. Water Lilly came up on google and we weren’t disappointed. We were greeted by friendly staff and were taken to our table without delay. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced. The three of us that went, including our 5 year old son, loved the food. Especially the char siu bao buns and variety of dim sum. Water Lilly ticked all of the boxes and we will be sure to return in the near future. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good Chinese restaurant in the Chorlton area.

We had a truly wonderful dining experience at Home Chinese Restaurant! Even though we didn’t have a reservation, we were lucky to be seated quickly. When we asked for a highchair, the staff immediately brought one for our little one. While we were looking at the menu, our toddler accidentally broke a ceramic chopstick holder. The staff were incredibly kind and patient — not only did they not blame us, they even thoughtfully switched to plastic kids’ utensils for our child afterward. Their attentiveness really warmed our hearts. We ordered the roast duck, stir-fried napa cabbage, seafood soup, and egg fried rice — all of them were absolutely delicious, especially the duck, which was crispy on the outside and tender inside. This is a place we will definitely return to. Highly recommend!
