Visited today for a table of 12 of us, food was amazing, blonde lady who was taking orders was lovely, think she’s a manager and If she’s not she defo should be. Compliments to the chef I’m a big moaner when it comes to food, I couldn’t fault a thing, best sticky toffee pudding I’ve come across. We will be back

Great Sunday lunch with all the trimmings served by lovely friendly staff.

We met with Family here this month, and decided to meet for Lunch instead of dinner. Love,this venue, food has always been brilliant, and pleased to report nothing has changed still as great as ever. Alan and his team do a sterling job in this village pub/restaurant, there is a new look menu with some really tasty additions There are a couple of different things to mention, they now do a dedicated children's menu offering really good value for money food. Also something different is a fixed priced menu, this offers either a 1 course, 2 course or 3 courses, this is priced £10, £15 & £19-95 respectively. We plumped for the 2 courses and was more than happy with our choice, I had the Cod, chips and mushy peas served with Tartar sauce. My wife went for Alan's home Quiche, which was Leek and Roquefort cheese, served with salad and a choice of potatoes. She said the Quiche was absolutely gorgeous with crumbly pastry, all homemade as is all there food here, so be patient it is worth that little extra wait. There is a good selection of beers and wines, also 0 alcohol drinks for the drivers This venue needs to be used more by people or we could lose it, this would be a crying shame as there are not many independent venues around now offering this standard of food and service at such good value. Would highly recommend a visit, and yes we will be returning soon.

Awful! Such a disappointing experience. The service was terrible, the food not much better. I heard the owner/ chef mention he has had bail out the pub out with his pension. Personally, I would wrap up the pub and enjoy retirement.

First time and not our last as we have already booked for Sunday lunch later this month from starters to desserts our plates were empty . The only regret is we didn't visit sooner.

Popped in for a meal and drinks with friends. Staff were excellent and very accommodating and the quality of the food was outstanding.

This is our 3rd Visit and more than impressed with the Atmosphere and Menu something for everyone and presentation and taste are outstanding 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 but the staff are exceptional and make you feel so welcome we love it and any excuse we will be back, definitely want to try the Sunday Lunch next.

We went for a meal on Saturday night after passing this pub on many occasions and we wasn't disappointed the food was amazing and a lovely atmosphere in the pub aswell. Definitely will go back

Good pub food from a large menu with lunch & broader options. Our group of 13 were served quickly and amazingly all dishes arrived together. Portion sizes were good and the food tasty.

Honestly one of the finest places to sit and chill and enjoy really, really good food. I booked to go with 7 others on Friday the 31st of May, it was the first time that any of us had been. Long story short, it was A1. We were served promptly, the staff were pleasant and talkative with a sense of humour and most importantly the food was well priced and absolutely lovely. Top marks from us 👍🏼

Ate here 2 couples Saturday night 10/2. Great choice from the large menu and some good old traditional food cooked to a high standard. Loved the liver and bacon with mash and pudding sponge with strawberry jam on top with coconut flakes and to cap it all pink custard, took me back to school dinners!!, Beer good also and well priced. Food was nice for a Sunday roast. Service a little slow but wouldn't be important is wasn't in a rush.

You must visit this lovely pub/restaurant… food 10/10.service 10/10.atmosphere 10/10. Staff and owners were so friendly and welcoming.lovely varied menu,the ribeye steak I ordered was cooked to perfection.. my wife had a steak Stilton & mushroom pie… amazing (her words) get yourselves along to the white heart… you will not be disappointed🫡 we will be going back very soon.we even had a fuss of the owners dogs before we left ❤️

We had good company and good food and the waitresses were very attentive and friendly and as a bonus so was William the boxer dog. 1 negative from my partner there was no vegetarian menu otherwise full marks and we will return.

We've been here for lunch in the past. but found the service very slow and food not as good this time

We came to The White Hart to celebrate a family birthday. We were a party of 10. The welcome, service from all of the staff was superb. Then the food came out... it was fresh, homemade and delicious. Most of us went for the roast dinners in some variety. Really generous portions, homely and all 10 of us went home talking about how lovely the meal was. It is so rare to find a restaurant like this in Northamptonshire. I would hands down recommend and we will be coming back to try the rest of the menu! Thank you all at The White Hart!

Had a fantastic Sunday lunch with my pearents ,all homemade and fresh vegetables. Been a few times before in the week and had food off the normal menu this was also homemade . Couldn't fault anything. Kitchen staff check to make sure everything OK with your meal. Nigel is the front of house and knows how to look after his customers and makes eveyone feel welcome, All the staff are fantastic. We will be back again soon

We were here for my sister in laws 50th birthday meal there was 11 of us all food was fantastic and all staff made us feel welcome

Was visiting in a group so atmosphere was already set. Food was ordered and arrived quickly and all was tasty. I wish I had gone for the puddings as these looked and smelled so tasty too

8 of us enjoyed a Sunday lunch. Could not fault anything. Extremely friendly staff without being imposing. Took home goodie bag and take away dessert.

Huge thank you to the owner! I broke down just past the pub and he sorted me out with cable ties and was really welcoming and friendly. Can't say anything on the alcohol or the food but I'm sure it's just as good as everything else (and good luck with the planning permission 🤞 )

Perfect food , perfectly priced

Sunday dinner has to be the worst I’ve ever eaten. After ordering it was on the table 2 minutes later which is alarming. For the price you expect some effort. All the food was bland, soft boiled veg, black potatoes, chewy meat. Not the place for Sunday roast! Disappointing

Still can’t believe that we love 8 mins drive down the road and haven’t previously visited. Such a lovely welcome and atmosphere! Food was amazing and service is second to none. Sam and Nigel are wonderful! We will officially be regulars!!!

Brilliant place staff excellent food fab well stocked wine cellar plus nice selection of gins and other spirits .plus all the puddings are home made in the kitchen . décor is very calming and beautiful done ..plenty of comfortable seating in the bar area and restaurant .on Sundays they do a most tasty Sunday roast.and also have veggie options on the menu .A visit is well worth it as all food is local seasonal and fresh ..many thank to all staff who made our visit special,will visit again

This pub has everything! Well cooked food, excellent ales, caring service, and a relaxing atmosphere. 14 of us enjoyed an excellent lunch today. Definitely one of the best pubs in the area. Looking forward to our next visit!

had my 2nd visit to the white hart last Friday with my team from work for our late Xmas meal. This really is a super place to visit, all the staff are so friendly, helpful while still professional. We spoilt ourselves with 3 courses which were all delicious - sweet chilli beef/ Italian style cod finishing with a wonderful sultans-rum sponge & custard Yes we all rolled home with over stuffed tummy’s but the food & surroundings were fab. Thank you again to Alan, Wendy, Chloe & team, can’t wait to visit again, will certainly be recommending to all our clients 😄

Visited on Wednesday 4th January for an evening meal and we were definitely not disappointed. The Stilton and Chestnut pate was amazing and the Leek and Cheese bake was delicious. Excellent value for money too. I will be returning very soon.

Always cracking food and good portion sizes. We have literally just got home from a delicious meal! I had the beef bourginon which was so tasty and the meat, of which there was plenty, just melted in your mouth. Proper, “home cooked” (but better!) food and lovely staff. Oh and the icing on the cake for me…they have 2 gorgeous boxer dogs keeping watch behind the bar and I can’t resist giving them some fuss when we visit.

Went for lunch, had Gammon steak and a pint of local Northampton ale it was very good. Friendly atmosphere and made to feel welcome.

Managed to get a table for 5 at very short notice and it was so worth the half an hour drive to get there . Staff were very welcoming and attentive . Food is absolutely delicious , generous portions. We will definitely be back soon . Thank you for a wonderful evening.

A most convivial evening meal was enjoyed in this warm, friendly pub. The food was delicious and the service was efficient and unobtrusive. The leisurely pace of the meal was perfect. Well worth a visit, but do book!

Great food, roast lamb was just wonderful. Staff attentive without being annoying. Polite and very helpful. Prices are reasonable and large portions. Would highly recommend. All 7 plates were clean when they went back to the kitchen.

Fantastic lovely friendly pub/restaurant. We came last minute, no booking and they accommodated us and our dog. They even cooked Snoopy (our dog) a sausage and gave us some kibble as we were later than we had planned. They also have the most adorable Boxer dogs William and Jim. Recommend this place, so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Food is lovely too.
