Stopped in here on the way home, its an actual pub on the train station platform... funny as, the bar tender was friendly and they did a good pint, what's not to like

Got stuck here when the trains were being terrible for 5 hours and was very grateful for a drink. Jamie was an absolute legend, helped out myself and the other passengers, and made our time much better than it would have been. Really appreciated the friendly service and a nice pub to wait in.

Stopped here after a recent visit to Grantham and RAF Cranwell. Lovely little bar with a great range of drinks. The lady behind the bar was lovely even sharing pictures of the renovation she did with her husband. Whilst I noticed hot snacks were available I did not have any so can't really comment on that. However I will be back if ever in Grantham again for sure.

£3.80 for a pint, in 2024 you struggle to find them prices!! Well worth a visit!

Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Much cheaper than going into the train station. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars, is I only grabbed 2 cans of coke. Hopefully at the end of my journey I will pop in for a beer

Absolutely loved it. Its tiny but has a decent range of beers and is right on the platform. Perfect if you've got an hour to kill and nowhere to go.

After years of changing train at Grantham station with noting to note, I finally found the micro bar. Platform side refreshment, fine cask and friendly staff. Open later than usual, making my bank holiday.

Me and my son always have a half here before he gets the train. Always friendly staff. Nice place and good they have outside seating, front and back. However, question marks on the barrels as tables.....only criticism.

Always great to stop off and grab a beer before we catch the train, or to take with you...

Quick stop while waiting for the rail replacement bus, very friendly and helpful barman. Would drop by again if I had time between trains.

Nice little pub which is accessible from both the platform and car park area of the station. There’s a decent enough range of drinks on tap and a full range of spirits. A small fire keeps the place warm in the winter and there’s plenty of seating given the size of the place, including some stools at the bar. There’s a selection of books on the window sill, some fun signs on the walls and even a couple of kids toys in the corner. Service is quick and friendly, prices decent given the location and even a selection of snacks and sandwiches. Great little bar.

I love dropping in here on the way home. Decent beer. Try the Whistle Stop which is brewed locally, cheers!

When the trains are an absolute show and you are stuck in grantham this is an absolute life saver…

All stations should have such a pub serving well kept cask ale for tiresome transfers. Really a lovely place, no air about it and a good mix of regulars and transferring strangers like me. Highly recommend a visit.

Really nice pub at the station. Really good range of ales, craft and lagers plus wine and spirits. I didn't eat but they also looked to do a nice selection of sandwiches, sausage rolls, pasties and soup. Staff were really friendly, prices were very reasonable and overall a nice atmosphere. Will definitely visit when passing through the station again.

Perfect to stop and wait for connecting train. Drinks available to suit all. Was kept well clean and seemingly well managed! Prices reasonable too.

Brilliant pub, had an hour to change at Grantham. What a find great beer, nice seating area out the back and the landlord was a nice fella(although somewhat hungover).

Great little spot with a good selection of beers, bar snacks (scampi fries are always an excellent indicator!) and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Wish I’d popped in sooner!!

What a fantastic little pub, on the station platform you can see all the east coast trains go by while having a lovely pint how cool is that. Landlords were out of this world, with trivia questions get the question right in 10 seconds and your pint is half price. Don't let the micro in the name put you off, seating inside and out try it next time you are at Grantham train station

What a diamond of a bar offering refreshments to weary travellers ,good selection of beers (even vegan) at surprisingly cheap prices ,but the main thing is the welcoming atmosphere ,I'd miss a train for this one 😉

Always loved popping in for a quick pint or two between trains every fortnight and never had a bad word to say, until today ! Walked in and no response from the bar staff because he had his face in his phone, order my usual pint and was told there was a £5 minimum for using card payments ( ridiculous ) I use my phone for all my payments so I couldn’t pop to the cash machine as instructed, then I was asked to make up the £5 by buying crisps, nuts or even a pastie. I didn’t want crisps, nuts or a pastie, just a nice pint before my next train. Putting a limit on card payments is business suicide, it’s wrong and extremely embarrassing for the customers who just want to enjoy a nice pint in a lovely venue without being held to ransom over a ridiculous £5 card limit, i walked out as I had no other means of payment but card and was most certainly not being told I have to spend £5 when I shouldn’t have to.

Lovely cosy place to have a drink whether waiting for your train or just passing by. Friendly staff, very welcoming, plus it had a nice variety of drinks on offer.

Super friendly staff in a peaceful environment, that is dog friendly and serves a good food pint. The only downside is the long walk to the toilets.

Superb little pub on the station serving a variety of ales. Friendly knowledgeable barman. Great outside seating area right on the platform, ideal to take your pint straight onto the London.

For such a small space the pub has a decent selection of on-tap drinks. Male staff friendly and professional, the female staff member is obnoxious with no understanding of boundaries.
