Great little pub, good selection of beers, even better selection of crisps!

Excellent pub, staff fantastic, good selection of draught and bottled beers. Apparently the pizza is outstanding, however I've yet to try it - I'll be back to do so though. Cheers! Update: still awesome but still haven't tried the pizza. Staff still fantastic

Belting old school pub in the front games room and dog friendly area to rear to watch the footy and ample outdoor beergarden always choice of real ales and quality beers 🍻

We stopped here after visiting the local area garden centre, which we were not psyched about. At all. Luckily, this place saved the day because they have amazing pizza and a lovely bartender! :)

Just had 2 double Gordon's G&Ts with a slice of lime and ice, and it came to £17.80. Seems a bit obscene.

Only had a couple of drinks and sat outside in the beer garden, it was nice.

My favourite local bar. Staff are lovely and the atmosphere is good. Would love a vegan pizza as a food option and then we could eat here too!

Lovely pub. Retro decor but beautiful, like a throwback to pubs I knew in the early 80s. Most importantly, the two Wigan Brewhouse ales on were superb. So glad pubs like this still exist.

First class as always and a VERY Covid safe pub. Best boozer in Appley Bridge bar none. Their stone baked pizzas are absolutely delicious! 👍

Popped in whilst waiting for a train. Nice friendly and cosy local pub. Good range of beers, decent size, and our well behaved dog was welcome. Would come back if in the area again.

Load of customers waiting outside at 12, for the staff member to be late which lost a lot of custom unfortunately. Slow service and only pizzas on the food menu that took a while to come out

Popped in for pizza and some non alcoholic drinks, pizza and garlic bread was lush 😋, will be going back for lunch quite a lot in future. Parking can be hard work but the food more than makes up for that 😁

Smashing little village pub with a bigger reputation for homely food and good beer. Back room generally a male environmental for sports related entertainment. They have the best quiz in the Wigan area on a Tuesday night, if you’re not in by 8.30pm you’ll struggle for a seat. The regular quiz master is magic.

Better if Beer was cheaper !!!!

Friendly little pub. Very cosy. Friendly staff. Beer prices higher than you might of thought. But not outrageous. Pint I had was a tad flat. Combined with higher prices. This looses them a Star. Arrived in an evening. So can’t comment on the food.

Pit stop on the annual pub bike ride. Great pint.
