Fantastic food, outstanding staff, great selection of ales and atmosphere is electric well worth a visit

I was on a day put today with my wife, the day was gorgeous (quite good for October), we went for a hike around King Arthur's stone, and I wanted to go to a pub in Gower. I found this place on google maps and was fortunate enough to park there for lunch. I ordered the Steak pie witch was absolutely perfect, and my wife had the Cockles which were also really delightfully made. I am definitely going to be back to try other food from their menu.

Stopped for a beer and snack after our walk from Woebly Castle . Excellent atmosphere, beer and a large bowl of chips.

Absolute gem of a place. The food was exactly what we wanted/needed after a hard days graft at the beach! The service and atmosphere was welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble.

The welcome gave us such a warm welcome we came back the next day! Both lunchtimes we went for the Street Food specials board .Pulled pork bao buns , Falafels, Korean Chicken 🐔 with sweet potatoes, and Morrocan Lamb all delivered with great flavour and presentation, and at £22 pounds 💷 for 3 represented great value .Great real ales ,a Glamorgan Pitchfork, and the best Gower Gold to be found in the area.The wine list was also discerning and had a great dry Rose.Worth a detour with helpful 🍸 bar staff 😀

it's decent, the service is good it's just like your basic generic pub really, sorry don't enjoy the food tho

Sat in the beer garden as it was actually a summer's day in summer for once. Had a selection of items from the 'Street Menu'. Everything was delicious, particularly the Korean style Chicken and the beef tacos. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. Food delivered very promptly. Second time I've been recently and will definitely be going back again soon.

The worst food we’ve ever had. 2 pizzas burnt, chips were reheated. The only good part is the waitress was brilliant. When leaving heard the chef talking about why we complained. Maybe because the food was inedible.

I'm so gutted that I'm giving this rating as I booked a meal here for my wife's and I Ruby wedding anniversary meal.We arrived and was shown to our table by a polite and friendly girl and ordered two drinks that was 7 pm within mins we had our drinks and ordered our food which arrived by 7.20, within 15mins we had finished the meal cause my steak was very hard to eat and my wife eat snout a quarter of her gammon and put the rest in a paper towel and then in her bag.So we waited for about 20 mins for a waitress to ask us if ether we wanted dessert or the bill but saw no one. In the end we got up went downstairs payed for the meal and left we wasn't even asked if everything was OK. So would I hope back not if was free.

We stayed in a lovely AirBnB and popped down for dinner one night. Super friendly staff, great menu and the food we ordered was lovely. Highly recommended

We are staying at Nant Y Wrach Farm CL site and Diane the owner recommended The Welcome Inn so have just done the short walk to try it. Arrived at 5pm and on a Tuesday found a busy village pub which did not disappoint. Thank You for a nice meal well presented and a nice welcome 👍

Sunday dinner was excellent, friendly locals and good atmosphere. Had problems parking but waited until a space was available. It was worth the wait!

A fab stop after a muddy walk. Dog freindly as well. The food was lovely. Tastiest pub food we have had in a long time. Piping hot and freshly cooked. Had cockles to start, followed by the turkey burger with all the Christmas trimmings . My wife had the lamb shank with mash. Both full of flavour . It was lovely and warm in there as well.

Really great pub, good beer selection & nice wines. Food has never disappointed and often there specials sell out. Good local products used. Only downside is parking at popular times like Sunday lunch or Saturday night can be tricky and you might need to park up the Hill. But it's worth it. Staff are always helpful.

Really enjoyed our lunch here. We braved the elements and sat outside despite it being a bit chilly and overcast. However the food and drinks made up for the weather with excellent, ribs, steak and cod and chips. The scampi was a bit ‘manufactured’ with more batter than fish but still passable. Good Guinness and beer and a very pleasant lunch altogether. The service was pleasant and prompt.

Had a lovely meal. 🦀 and prawn cocktail for starters. Followed by rib eye steak. The steak was fantastic. The staff were very attentive . Sat outside as the weather had turned sunny 🌞. A most enjoyable meal.

One of the best pies I’ve ever had!

Sat outside in the beer garden on a lovely day. My friend and I shared a full rack of ribs which were tasty but a bit dry. They could have had a lot more BBQ sauce with them. The chips were lovely, the cole slaw was homemade and very nice 😋

Fabulous! It's a busy pub so can get a bit loud for easy conversation. Having said that, it is no surprise it is busy - the food is delicious, staff are friendly and welcoming, it's a nice place to go for a drink or a meal. The food we had today was incredible, mouth watering. Will certainly be back for more.

Unbelievably overpriced food. £17 for the driest burger you could put together yourself after a 5 minute shop in Tesco’s. If you going to serve that kind of quality of food, please be fair with your pricing.

Popped in after a long walk for a quick drink and ended up staying for lunch. Food was hot, fresh and very tasty, barman was really friendly and helpful. Really looking forward to visiting again soon.

Staff were welcoming willing to help you. Good choice of food on menu and food is brilliant, highly recommended. Price a little expensive but worth the extra for nicely cooked food.

Not the best experience, wouldn’t go there again and even if you book for a large group they do not have the seating to accommodate, we were put on table with Radom people and the food was not nice stop being greedy and stop over booking, i’m not the one to moan but you’re not helping yourselves, The reviews I’ve already read about this place is insane how many more people you going todo it to before you learn

Expensive, I thought £16 for one course of sunday lunch. Long queues at the bar. Lovely views at the back of the salt marsh.

Nice place to eat, always accommodating, don't have to book either, we turned up on Sunday whilst out on our bikes not expecting a table, but no problems.

Lovely pub, friendly staff, great atmosphere and even better food. We visited whilst on holiday and they accommodated a group of 13 on the day. We had a member of the group that was dairy intolerant and the waitress was very familiar with the menu and offered great options. Had the BBQ chicken melt, it was very tasty, the best I had in a long time.

Very limited choise for vegans. It was annoying as we had phoned and asked if they had non dairy milk . They said they had but there was none. Also food was not that great

We had Sunday lunch here. The food was delicious. The service was a little slow but it was nice as it felt relaxed.

I didn't find the staff overly friendly (ironically for a pub called Welcome), and the shared nacho's we had fell well short of the quality expected for ~£13-14. Nothing on the plate seemed 'fresh', it tasted like it was all processed and out of a tin or a tube. Not an establishment we'd return to in a hurry.

Enjoyed a beer in a wonderful location, pretty village with views of the sea and a beautiful old stone church. The food looks great but haven't sampled it yet.

Booked a table here ,in the bar for added atmosphere. When we arrived no table available in bar over booked . Fair play offered a free drink which I insisted was upgraded to a bottle of wine . Table upstairs ok . Ordered food . Table became available moved to bar , excellent. 45 mins later asked when we were likely to be fed ! Staff running round like headless chickens . Eventually food arrived . Extremely under whelmed . Chillie was very watery , ribs overheated more than likely microwaved , Coleslaw was mainly fluid , wouldn’t have bothered serving it . The steak was well cooked the only decent thing on all 3 plates. The double cooked chips to be honest tasted like oven chips . If I’d known would have stayed home and cooked myself . Having worked in this industry for 13 years , I was appalled by the lack of any respect for the paying customer . We will not be paying another visit !

My food was cold and the Deputy manager.When I asked the deputy manger I said my food is cold and he said what you want me to do about it his name is Grant not coming back again 😡😡😡
