It’s a spoons. As expected. Lovely location by the canal side. Close to the Merry Hill shopping centre

Only popped in for coffee so no comment about food only 2 staff at the bar and both coffee machines needed emptying .refilling and cleaning . Wasn't that impressed .at all

A great place to grab a outdoor table in summer. Wouldn’t bother in winter as inside has all the atmosphere of a works canteen.

Quite busy, I guess as it's one of the cheapest places to eat and drink. We only had a couple of drinks there, so can't comment on the food, but it seemed to be standard Wetherspoons fare.

Just been served by Jamie. That man has talent, personality and lovely smile. Customer service second to none. He needs a payrise.

Probably one of the best spoons I've been to. Good atmosphere, staff are incredibly friendly, food takes its time but is always fresh and delicious. Didn't catch the names of the staff but the gent with the beard was particularly friendly. Keep up the good work!

Best local spoons by far, and on the canal. Set your expectations accordingly, and you'll be very pleased.

Came for pre-work food whilst covering another store, absolutely banging food both days. Bringing the other half at the weekend so he can re-live his youth!! A very well-run Wetherspoons.

A bijou Spoons, easy to walk straight past. Prices at the top end of the Spoons pricing scale but always good to find toilets on the ground floor.

I recently visited the Waterfront Inn with a friend, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was vibrant, and we enjoyed spending most of our time outside, thanks to the lovely weather. I appreciated that all necessary safety precautions were in place, which made us feel comfortable. It was also great to see baby seats available, indicating that the venue is family-friendly. The restrooms were clean, a definite plus for any establishment. The bartender was polite and attentive, although we did have a brief wait of about 5 to 10 minutes at the bar the price of the drinks are very reasonable. I noticed that there was table service as well, and the staff regularly walked around to clear empty glasses, which kept the space tidy. The view of the waterfront was absolutely beautiful, adding to the overall charm of the place. It's worth noting that the inn is located in a mall-like setting, which is convenient. However, I did find it a bit surprising that there was no visible security presence. Lastly, I noticed signs indicating a zero-tolerance policy for drugs, which is reassuring. Overall, I highly recommend the Waterfront Inn for its great atmosphere, cleanliness, and friendly service. I look forward to returning!

Went in for a quick meal after work amd was left waiting for over an hour with no sign of food or drink ordered from off the app. Once I asked the staff if they had received my order they accepted that they had indeed received this order, for some reason which they did not seem to have any idea why it was not even in the process of being made for me. If I had not of said anything I would of been waiting for my food indefinitely. I NEVER write a review for anywhere but this took the biscuit. Only saving grace was the lovely lady that sorted it out with the brown hair who was very apologetic and understanding. Order was brought to me eventually after 2 hours amd an item missing which I had to ask for further this was them relayed to me that I would not be receiving. Very poor service even by wetherspoon standards.

I had fish and chips surprised that they actually gave me the fish as obviously over cooked no fish under batter absolutely disgusting I should have sent it back as soon as she gave it me But my son and daughter in law were paying so i didn't want to make a fuss but honestly Worst food I've ever had any weather spoons Will never go back And no salt either Service wasn't great Nobody asked if our meals ok Rotten 👎

Coffee unlimited refills, canal view + full English really low prices No frills food and drink outside seats great if you're on a bike and need a pit stop unlimited coffee and tea currently £1.77 . Staff great 👍

Full English before a dog walk down the canal to the 10 locks. Shame all of these pubs don't allow dogs. Not even outside!

Me and my partner normally have breakfast and a couple of drinks on a weekend, but we decided to have something to eat last night. I had the ham and eggs she had, fish and chips. When her fish came back, it was clearly overcooked and dry. To be honest, the kitchen staff was overrun because the place was packed but the the manager noticed that her fish was overcooked and said change it if he hadn't of, my partner would of put up with it. and the meal replacement was delicious like it has always been in the past. What I'm trying to say is that the manager and staff at the time couldn't do enough for us, and thanks for seeing an unusual below your standard meal. Thank you

I was here with my daughter for lunch.. this particular spoons is in my opinion the better one in the area. The food is cooked 100 times better and there is no riff raff here. The staff are polite and friendly.

Visited at 2pm on a Saturday Large sections of the menu unavailable/out of stock. Toilets totally disgusting. My partner visited the ladies and she said they were horrendous too! Clearly not maintained and checked as the schedule suggests.

It's a nice Spoons. The staff are incredible and the service great. Tends to be a slightly older crowd. The food isn't as good as other spoons in the area. And it doesn't come out together as well as some local spoons either. The atmosphere is great. Relaxed and not too loud. We've been with a big party of 16 twice recently and would prefer this place to any locally if they got the food a bit better. The only other issue is the amount of smokers directly outside the doors. It's impossible to enter or exit without inhaling the great clouds of smoke. It's really bad. I know it's a pub, but times have changed and a great many people do not want to walk through second hand smoke.

A standard Witherspoon's. Very busy. Service good, food quality about right for the price paid. Drinks good. With the number of people there, the noise level was quite high.

Has the atmosphere of a regulars pub. Only ordered the chicken wing's small plate which arrived swiftly hot.

The staff are always pleasant and polite, Jamie, Alan, Gemma and "B" are brilliant at making the guests feel welcome and comfortable. We have children with additional needs and this location is perfect for wheelchair access with convenient parking close by. The selection of drinks is always great and the staff are always willing to let you try before you buy. The food is always hot and as fresh as you would expect, and they are always willing to make the kids meals just as they want them. The location is among the best in the Wetherspoon's portfolio in our opinion, next to a lovely canal marina where the sun sets over the water opposite the outdoor seating area. Many thanks to all the staff for making this pub one of our favourites in the area.

As always the customer service is second to none. The food was served in a timely manner. The staff were friendly and engaging. A first rate selection of wine, beer, lager, cider, soft drinks and hot drinks. This is a relatively small Wetherspoon. It it well presented, clean and tidy. The toilets are clean. There is also an outdoor seating area. This Wetherspoon is well worth a visit when visiting the Black Country for a bite to eat and a drink at a very reasonable price.

When we eventually found this pub, we enjoyed well cooked and served meals and drinks. Pub very busy with lunchtime drinkers. Staff were excellent and so hard working.

This place is not what it used to be, staff is really rude and careless. No customer service what so ever. No longer coming here.

I have been coming here for a number of years, ive got good relationships with a few of the staff as well as the manager but today was unbelievable. 27 degrees outside, i order a pint and asked for a glass to be placed in the fridge/freezer for my next drink as we all know in 27 degrees drinks dont stay cold for long. The person serving me said yes and even asked… a San Miguel glass to which i replied yes thank you. Come to order my 2nd pint the person serving, after I've said a staff member has put a glass in the fridge for me she replied they haven't so i politely said okay dont worry about pouring it as i wasn't interested in a pint which would go warm in 2 minutes. Got me a pint from a competitor who had a nice cold glass from the fridge on this hot day and went to sit with my friends at Wetherspoons where we were originally. Got asked to moved i politely ignored as i didn't want a confrontation about a simple ask. After which i politely told the staff i would have a word with the manager as this did not seem like good customer service nor did i feel cater for bearing in mind i asked for a really simple thing to be done. The staff then began to be really rude and show alot of anger and even said i dont care about your cold glass why do you even need it cold. The staff also began to say she didnt say yes to putting a glass in the fridge to which i pretty much walked out as i could see a endless spiral of arguments happening. Honestly im really disappointed mainly in how i was treated if i was told we cannot put a glass in the fridge in the first place i would have been able to choose my next move but that was not the case i was told it was okay and then treated like trash after wards bearing in mind i’m a loyal customer. When paying a premium price for a lager i would have though such a simple ask wouldnt have been a problem as anywhere else i go it isnt. The rudeness from the staff as well as trying to say i was being abusive towards them when i asked the one staff to remain calm during our conversation as she was getting quiet angry and abusive towards me while i was getting my point across is unbelievable as this place was a comfort spot. I hope this issue can be resolved by the management and proper training for the staff can be implemented.

For a cheap quickie after shopping/work etc Fine. Too much traffic on the car park between you and the canal to be “waterside” so “Waterfront” is 💯% apt 👍

Not great, clearly short staffed. Wine served in a half pint glass. Tables not cleared.

Bar was covered with drink and as I walked in sleeve and keys got wet as we placed our orders. Asked the bartender young girl for napkins who ignored me and was more bothered about pouring the drink in. Quite rude. By the time she'd done the drink I used tissues out of my bag. Pub tables grubby and not clean.

Popped in for a quick bite before shopping. The pizza was very disappointing...no rocket and barely cooked.....how can you go wrong with a pizza ???

Have only started coming here in the last 12 months, I don’t come here very often but never had any issues. I only ever come here very late at night, but it’s always tidy and the floor staff are always zooming around busy, the ones behind the bar are super welcoming and very efficient (ones that stand out are the alt bloke with the fringe and the younger lady with long dyed red/burgundy hair) Never eaten here due to the time I visit but experiences have been great. Door staff are hot on ID so carry it with you, I’ve been asked once before and I’m old as the hills 🤣 just their way of complying though so just carry your ID and you won’t have an issue.

Had a couple of drinks outside. Looks like there used to be heaters but none now. Other customers friendly, but not in your face. Staff friendly too. Can't beat Spoons prices for drinks. The following morning had a full English. It was fine... In fact faultless for the price paid. However, no brown sauce and the pub was very stuffy.

We didn't stop for food as it was a bit cramped, not the sitting out side weather the staff were not too acomadating either , I wish that if you don't aim to please or it's just a job ,then don't work in a pub or shop , I've worked with the public most of my working life so , I get why staff can be abit off but we are not all the same .

Much tinier than the usual wetherspoons. Barman both capable and charming who took my order very efficiently. Comfortable outdoor seating and food was just what we expect. Service was outstanding. The rest was very good.

DRUG TAKING HERE.... Food is ok, nice location good beer. However the clientele is somewhat to be desired blatant drug use was observed two nights running.

Some of the food is over twice the price of other wetherspoons in the area for no discernable reason, it tastes the same as other wetherspoons.

A busy and lively Wetherspoons, offering all the usual drinks and meals you'd expect from this chain pub. There is limited parking available very close by, some charged, or plenty of free parking just a couple of minutes walk away. A great location, next to the canal basin with a large outdoor seating area making it an ideal place to enjoy a pint during warmer weather. Inside is an open plan layout, with a few cosy booths along the wall opposite the bar. Food and drink was ordered on the app and arrived at the table promptly and with a friendly smile from the staff.

Really impressed with free parking right outside the pub. We went on the Friday lunchtime of half- term and it wasn't too busy. Friendly and efficient service. The food arrived quickly, tasted good and was great value for money. Toilets were well-stocked, clean and on the ground level (which makes a change!!). The pub is a short walk from the lovely Delph Locks. Strongly recommend the pub (& the locks walk)
