The Wadsley Fryer in Sheffield

Just had fish, chips, peas, breadcake and sausage from here. It was utterly disappointing. I live 5 minutes away. When I was home all of the food was cold. The fish was soggy. I had to put it in the microwave. I was probably served yesterdays leftovers that were not heated up fully. This is a real shame. A few years ago, we used to come here every week and it was great. We won't be coming again, it has gone downhill.

Like warm chips warmed up from yesterday I think expensive not much to choose from looks like Greeks have taken over didn't enjoy my lunch

Just the most delicious food I've had in a long time. The chips are fantastic. The mushy peas are super tasty, which is lacking in most other chip shops. I was lucky enough to be able to sample a chicken gyro on the last day of sale. I'm really sad that I'll not get another chance because it was the most amazing gyro I've had outside of Rhodes but I understand that it's not financially viable to keep selling them. Looking forward to trying the halloumi tray!
