The Twig in Cotswold

Walk here up the Coln valley from Coln St Alwyn. Turn right just before the hollow oak and over a little footbridge. Follow the path to Bibury. Have a nice coffee & cake in this pleasant little cafe. Walk back for lunch at the New Inn. Gloucestershire at its best.

Best sandwich I have ever had… cannot stop thinking about it. I had a mixed pepper focaccia sandwich toasted… it exceeded expectations. Super cozy cafe with lovely staff & good coffee.

We visited for a drink and pastry. Both at reasonable prices and a very quaint location. Dog friendly and free wifi - would deffo recommend stopping by

Passed through Bibury earlier today and called in for a bite of lunch. Things seemed to be adrift, we ordered a granola pot, a toastie and two slices of cake. 20 minutes later and after asking three times the toastie and the cake arrived. It wasn't that busy. This place should be a license to print money but the two lads on duty today need to get to grips with service. Extra star given for the Misfits tattoo in the Cotswolds. 138.

This is a super little cafe. We only called in for a coffee and cake half way through a walk, but my husband spotted the sausage rolls. I had a delicious Portuguese custard tart, and he had to have a sausage roll. According to him it was the best he has ever eaten! The staff were friendly and efficient.

Great coffee! Best I had in the Cotswolds. Cakes and sandwiches looked great too although I didn’t have one. Not much room to sit in but welcoming none the less.
