Yet another terrific evening in the Troff with food provided by White Elephant, drinks in the garden to start then inside for a very relaxing dinner, no rushing here you just need to sit back and enjoy.

Sitting in the garden with a bottle of wine and enjoying one of their sharing boards with excellent service from the staff, they are always so welcoming and friendly, what a great way to spend a Friday evening.

First visit to this brilliant little bar/ cafe and we will definitely be back. We had the Pepperoni Pizza and the Spicy Chicken Flatbread and a portion of skinny fries both were delicious and served in the beautifully decorated dining room. Had a great pint of Fallout IPA ale and partner had a nice Pinot Grigio. Couldn't fault the service and warm welcome. Highly recommended.

I'm not one for giving out bad reviews but the service on 25th Feb 2022 was dreadful. We waited over an hour for a pizza, chicken shawarma and a small Italian salad...in the end we gave up and left. We had been recommended by some friends who have eaten here on a couple of occasions and spoke very highly of the food...it was just a shame we didn't get a chance to experience it. At no time did anyone come and say that there was going to be a long wait for food...if they had we may have stayed. On the plus side we didn't have to pay for the pint of Shiny Lager or the Shiny Fallout IPA.

We had fabulous meals and the quality was good. The weather was good and there was plenty of room to sit outside and eat with our Dalmatians.

We did not stay at this property but booked a small (naturally at the moment) wake. We had afternoon tea which was superb. The staff, and particularly Zoe and Rob could not have been more helpful and took all the stress out of a difficult day. We had booked the garden and when it became clear the weather might not be good they immediately contacted us to offer putting up gazebos - as it happened the weather was atrocious and as our numbers were low they moved us inside - this included getting a disabled ramp at short notice for my mother in law. Thank you so much and we will see you again soon for one of your excellent lunches.

Sitting in the Garden enjoying a Gentleman's Tea menu with a few pints of Shiny Tap IPA, what a great way to spend an evening and also have the chance to chat to other customers. Rob and his staff provide an excellent service and its such a relaxing area that you do not want to leave. The food is first class and thank you Nabs for looking after us.

My partner and I had “posh kebabs” take away. Tempeh and Cajun chicken. We didn’t imagine they would be so filling but they were. And just so tasty! Such high quality food and tastes. And we had a garlic flatbread with it which was just so delicious. We highly recommend this local business who obviously know what they’re doing.

A brief note to congratulate The Coach House for providing our small party with an excellent meal and service last Saturday. The menu provides a great choice of meals whilst being a small range of alternatives. The food was cooked and presented to the highest of standards, enhanced by friendly and helpful service. Thank you, shall be back.

At last managed to get to the Troff but only for Coffee and Cake. Full Covid19 procedures in place before entering and then shown to a table in this small cafe/bistro, dining area is clean, tidy and well laid out with a small menu. Friday and Saturday evenings are bistro time and the menu changes weekly, it looks fabulous so will have to try it out but you are advised to book. Service from the staff on entering is very friendly and welcoming with excellent service throughout.
