Very nice pub, have to agree with another reviewer though, we were in a group of 4 buying rounds and the round cost something different every time despite the exact same order. Service 7/10, atmosphere good and felt like a nice community of people.

Have to say. We were impressed as it was the first time wed been in since lock down. Great atmosphere Disc on. The only downside charged differently for the same drinks? Added 23/03/24. Called in with friends. Sat in a snug part of the pub by a small non serving bar. Found the noise overpowering, unable to chat. Why not have a part that's not rowdy. Would appeal to some clients.

Friendly bar staff, good atmosphere. Overpriced! Cheap alcohol at inflated prices. No drinks menu available. Undrinkable watered down cocktails. £4.50 for a single shot of Baileys.

The travellers is local to me. me and my wife call in a couple of times a month and really enjoy this place great atmosphere and great staff and a good selection of beers and largers at very cheap prices

I have been going in with friends since last christmas. The staff and the lady that runs the establishment are very friendly, as are the natives! Available is a good selection of drinks at very competitve prices, and the place is clean and inviting.Facilities include a pool table and multiple Tv's with live sport. There is a beer garden to the rear of the premises; that I frequent in the nice weather. Last , but not least, the toilets are clean and well maintained. Patrons are allowed to bring dogs, and I understand that children are welcome until around 7pm. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

Absolutely amazing staff in a delightful Local Pub! After my hospitalisation last Halloween, I can't praise them enough for the support that the staff have given me to enable my lunchtime visits! 🍺

Exactly what you would expect. Always been a good allround pub, slightly nibbled at the edges. A good drink

Unfortunately not 1 beer on draft!!!!.....sad really.

Drinks fair prices, large screens for sports and furniture is well kept. Bit irritated by their "No Kids Past 18.00hrs." I'd come to pick my dad up, straight from collecting my partner from work with my 10 month old son and when I arrived he'd got a full pint. So I was going to buy a pint of pop and sit and wait inside - it's cold out and keeping the car running is bad for the environment. But I guess rules are rules and the bar staff told me essentially to leave. I would understand more if it were for kids that can run around and be loud etc. But for a toddler who didn't make a peep, who isn't walking, seems a bit of an odd one to me.

Great atmosphere went to watch football with family from Ireland was made very welcome 2 fellas gave up there seat for us thank you guys

The owner of this bar is an awful woman, I am a size 10, 27 year old woman who showed her my ID to be told it doesn’t look like me, and that I must of lost weight (I was a size smaller on my passport photo) anyway, I let this slide and didn’t get offended as I don’t think anyone looks like an oil painting on there ID, I did however state that I have been abroad with the passport the rude woman who runs the bar proceeded to tell me it doesn’t look like me and said do you think that means I should serve you? I said no but I just meant border force were happy with it (used no attitude at all, absolutely hate confrontation) l did end up being allowed a drink in the end, then when I sat down, two middle aged men sat on opposite tables to me started to have a little bit of a joke (as they do, typical dad jokes) about the situation so the rude woman shouted from the other side of the bar in front of everyone is she still going on about it, she can have that drink and then leave (which I really wasn’t, I was sat quite content with my drink) I said are you barring me? I haven’t said a word, she said yeah you have youve give me attitude you can leave now (I’d literally had one sip) cheap bear if you want to be spoken to like absolute crap, and have an overweight woman basically point out you look like a tuggy on your passport picture.

Friendly staff, Nice pint, Use to live in the area so just back for 1 night, Still a good place to drink.

Enjoyed everything about it drinks and the service. Lovely staff and nice grub. Couldn't find a fault to be honest. Probably the cleanest toilets I've seen in a pub too. Well done Travellers, it's going to be visited by us again .

Been a few times not be going again a lot of locals of which we are but alcohol is served to overly drunk out of control people had a shot chucked at me told the landlord that the person should be asked to leave but he was continued to be served
