The Thrive Cafe in Kirklees

Called in for a meet up with craft and laughter Friday girls for a cuppa ..the cafe was mega busy ..But... we were made very welcome ..our orders were taken very quickly and our drinks too were brought to us quickly . Some of the group decided to stay for lunch ..jacket potatoes with cheese ..ham salad sandwich ..beef salad..cakes ..all the food was yummy.. Very Well done ladies ..I will recommend you to everyone ..

Had some lovely food at the Thrive cafe once again. I always look forward to eating here as the menu is superb with enough variety and daily specials all at really good prices. The staff are friendly and the place is a lovely modern bright environment with lots of wonderful art on the walls to enjoy whilst eating. And now the nicer weather is coming the new patio deck area is a fantastic place to eat al fresco! Highly recommend

Called in with my daughter, nice clean open space, we had hot chocolate one of the best we've had. My daughter had a cheese and ham toastie, she really enjoyed that, made with fresh bread. Reasonably priced. Will definately go again when in Dewsbury.

I went here the other day for lunch and absolutely loved it. I had the falafel and houmous salad. The falafels were made fresh from scratch and were delicious! Best salad I have had in a very long time. Can’t wait to go back!

Great to find somewhere in Dewsbury town centre serving fresh cooked healthy food. Called here for lunch, the cafe is run by volunteers who couldn't been more pleasant and helpful. Fresh cooked food (I had basil, mozzarella & tomato panini), good range of choices. The cakes looked good but I resisted on this occasion. It's a small place, not obvious from the outside as it's in the housing office but well worth the visit.

I visited The Thrive Cafe for lunch a few days ago and had an amazing vegetarian curry. It was so nice to have a great range of veggie and vegan options to choose from. The cafe itself is lovely too, very well decorated and the staff were very accommodating. I'll definitely be visiting again soon!

I’ve eaten at the Thrive Cafe in Dewsbury a few times now and the food is incredible - could be served in the top restaurants in London honestly. I’ve had salads, curry’s, soups, all made with fresh ingredients and often vegetarian or even Vegan. So tasty and healthy too. The staff are wonderful and couldn’t be friendlier. The space is bright, clean and modern and I always feel comfortable and unrushed - so I can simply enjoy the food whilst using the brilliant free WiFi! And the drinks are superb, proper barista coffees, you must try the oatmilk cappuccino it’s the best. And I’m excited to see how the cafe space gets even better with another refurbishment imminent, new decking area outside and the addition of local art exhibited on the walls soon too! It’s definitely a venue on the ascendancy in Dewsbury- and that’s just what the area needs! Definitely recommend popping in whenever you’re in town! The prices are brilliant too! Today I had the lentil soup all freshly made that morning - it was ‘souperb’

Lovely fresh locally sourced ingredients, the bread I could literally sink my head into so soft and tasty and very reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit. Thank you Natalie

We ladies meet up at thrive every Friday for our craft group 12pm..today we decided to do lunch ..I had prawn salad ..it was yum yum yum ..thankyou so much Natalie..thanks to Toni too for the best lattes in Dewsbury.. I can really recommend a visit .. And if you fancy joining our craft group you are welcome there too ..

Recently opened community cafe serving a great choice of food and drink in a lovely setting. I really enjoyed the coffee and fab cakes. Perfect for business meetings too and just across the road from the train station.

A new cafe and meeting place close to Dewsbury station based in Connects office hub. Great for Coffee and cake; wonderful salads and my favourite Pie and Peas. What's not to like?

This light, bright, clean open space has just opened in Dewsbury and is a hidden gem. Whether it's an informal business lunch, a coffee with friends, afternoon tea or lunch with the kids, this new café is fantastic. The food is home made and delicious - and there's plenty to suit all diets. The staff are friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble. And on top of all that, the prices are reasonable. Not only will you have a great time but you'll be doing some good for the local community too as it's a social enterprise.
