The Three Hulats in Leeds

Can't beat it for good value with decent food/drink. The deals available between 2 and 5 are especially good, the waiting times are quick Ana always attentive service. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Edited from a previous 4 star review that had 5 stars for service. I have been coming here for a monthly breakfast almost every month for over 9 years. I am disabled and cannot digest baked beans, so I have always had a breakfast with baked beans swapped out for tomatoes instead. There has never been a problem until today. I was told that, as the item was not part of the breakfast, it could not be swapped. But they would charge me extra for it. So the beans would go to waste. So I just ordered a much smaller order instead. Have Spoons stopped doing substitutions? If so, I will be making sure i have had breakfast elsewhere before coming to meet my friends?

The place was okay overall, tho the food looked like was dropped from the plane 😅 and the tables were not cleaned.

Pleasant place to drop in for a drink. Reasonably priced and friendly staff.

Always a good place to meet and chill. Have noticed how popular this venue has got for families and women. Always a healthy sign of a pub. If you last came here before the refurbishment, you won't believe just how much it has changed.

It's a spoons. Not much parking. Lots of tables. No phone reception indoors but free WiFi.

Fish really nice but very small portions of chips. 8 inch pizza was much smaller than it should have been. Hot chocolate machine had to be serviced three times due to milk, hot chocolate then more milk issues. Atmosphere ok but got quite busy

Great place to meet friends and relax. Friendly staff and a good atmosphere. Prices are very good too. It is a place I often visit with friends. Would recommend a visit.

The food here was crap to start with like most Spoons, tho I’m not expecting a la carte, but it has got worse (if that’s possible). Dried up homogenised beige. The staff are rude. Can never get a smile out of them. Tho I have a feeling it’s not their fault, it’s the prevailing atmosphere in the place. The manager thinks he’s a tough guy and his wife is racist. There lies the problem. I really doubt he cares about bad reviews and customers complaining. Awful place. Awful people.

I was there on Sat 21st December with friends to enjoy a Christmas night out. The door staff were very rude and extremley bad mannered. The manager was no help at all, his interaction with customers is the worst I've come across. It's quite clear the manager badge he wears is just a badge!! He certainly needs training in customer service. He has managed this pub for many years and I haven't seen him smile once! He spoilt our night! The door staff also need training in customer service too. Manners do not cost anything but can make a difference to someone's night!

Service marked down as poor wi-fi when we were there. Otherwise spot on.

Me and my best friend love to have a beer after a walk. Staff are friendly and a lovely place go.

Clean , quick friendly service, excellent value food . Generous Brunch with coffee £6. Not busy at 1030 Wednesday morning. Go for muffin breakfast deal it includes hot drinks add breakfast extras for incredible value.

This is nice place to sit, eat and drink. We visited this chain bar and restaurant on various occasions. The beers are quite cheap considering it's a bar. The food menu looks great. We often go for combi deal of burger, chips and a laffe beer. It is very spacious and you can find a private space as well. Really great environment on a football match day. Hardly any space to sit. I don't mind but enjoy the beer and watch the game. Parking space are limited.

It's a Wetherspoons so you know

I ordered a takeaway hamburger and fries from this shop. When I got home, I found that the burger was all black and there was no drink after I paid.

The landlord is absolutely ignorant S well as arrogant totally wrong for a job that requires good communication skills

Cheap and cheerful. Decent quality food and good selections spirits and craft beers

Great place to relax and have pints, you can try some of their ales as well. Food is great and not so much pricey.

The food is great had herby chicken and chips with a drink of orange included in price lots a bit cold but found a cozy corner inside my partner could have done with more chips

Nice atmosphere - bigger that it looks from the outside! Had some food there … gravy was lovely!!! Defo be eating there again. I would imagine on a weekend when it gets business this place would be bouncing! Sadly I only visit during the week!

Really nice, lovely staff, great menu. We tried a new dish and it was gorgeous, we definitely want it again, 1 with coconut rice, 1 with chips, 😋😋😋😋 would not be great for wheel chairs and toilets upstairs 😳

Another sublime visit to The Three Hulats weatherspoons. Went with my little sister to go and get breakfast. The menu shuts off at 12:00. We got there at 11:58, ordered at 11:59 and still got served!!! Manager was lovely and checked in on me to see how I was getting along. Will be going back!!

Had a great breakfast of American Pancakes with syrup, bananas, blueberries and strawberries. Very nice service with a smile. Great value for money, less than £10 per head with a drink of your choice.

Good food, great prices and deals.

Came here hoping to have a nice day out with my wife and our dog, but after ordering a bottle of wine and a beer, wad then told that we could not stay because of our dog. Not only should this have been mentioned beforehand, but as there is a huge outdoor area, I find it to be ridiculous that we cannot enjoy a drink with the company of our pet with us. After drinking half of my beer & my wife having 1 small glass of her bottle of wine, we were then told that we could not order food nor another beer and we have to leave and take the bottle of wine with us. Our dog is a well behaved boy who was greeted and pet by the majority of guests, then proceed to lay beneath our table as we drank and relaxed. He caused no issues and was welcomed by all around. This is ridiculous for such a pub in a community surrounded by families with pets. I am very disappointed with the outcome, and believe this pub should work on welcoming its community better. I have been disappointed by wetherspoons too many times repeatedly by absolutely ridiculous reasonings & will not be returning to any of the locations. Highly disappointed and appalled by the lack of customer service and attention.

Not a very good breakfast this morning, cold toast with hard butter !! Eggs over done, bacon, mushroom, beans lukewarm, arrived very quick just sat down with a coffee and breakfast arrived, only item cooked fresh was the sausages, after we finished and about to go, was asked by amember of staff how was everything, when I said about the breakfast all he could say is ho OK looks like he was pre occupied with something else like the beer he took from someone outside at least give the customer hot food

I am an American visiting England for the first time and staying with friends in Leeds for a week. In four days, I’ve been here 3 times: once for drinks in the evening and twice for breakfast. Both mornings I ordered the American Breakfast and they were spot on. Absolutely wonderful food!! And the service is impeccable. Everyone is very warm and friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. Everything is clean and taken care of. I love and highly recommend this place!!

Called in for a drink on our way to Harrogate. Quick service at the bar by friendly staff.. sat outside as it was a nice day, and as its a large place no shortage of seating inside either!

Actually hurts me leaving such a low score for service because it was only hananah that let it down for the team..After us being in there for over a hour drinking as soon as food comes out she want to go wrong the table again check IDs like we wasn't asked at the bar and had the audacity to Actually say see them again.we was celebrating my mother's 65th birthday it was uncalled for and she had other customers looking at her confused.

Nice Wetherspoons exactly what you'd expect good service and value for money

Good service. Nice place to be.

My usual plce for a pint and a reasonable lunch. Was served today by a charming lady called Hannah. She was such a presence it felt different than usual. She was attentive, polite and very informative 👍 she made the whole experience like being in a more expensive hands on restaurant. A bright light that stood out. All the staff are lovely but the low wages and stress they are under often shows, no fault of there own.

Very quiet for Friday 1300. Service was very quick. All four of us enjoyed value for money meals.

A big place with loads of seating and tables. There was 8 of us but no problem getting a table even on a Sunday morning. I had Ham, eggs and chips but no peas or anything else. The Ham was sliced processed and was expecting gammon. Wasn't appetising but cheap enough. Some had American cheese burger which was ok but dry. Cheap meals but don't expect quality. Parked in Lidl next door as it looked busy in their car park

Just wanted to praise the girl behind the bar this morning who appeared to be working on her own on a good Fri with a stacked out pub. She kept calm and served everyone in turn. Any chance managers could realise the need for more staff at these times, take a bit of pressure off excellent staff you have. This happens quite a bit. Thankyou to all the really friendly efficient staff.

Bar was deserted & yet I stood there 10 mins as bar staff "busy" doing other stuff & serving people who had been there a few seconds.

Typical Spoons, has been opened out from when it was the Mexborough. One of the better Spoons, just marred, like many other Spoons, by the odd bloke listening to his phone on speaker. Food very good, decent sized fish and chips, and good service both by waiters and at the bar.

My partner had the small cod and chips but she was disappointed to find how small the portion of fish was. Nothing more than a small thin strip which was little more than a few mouthfuls

Great pub part of the weatherspoons chain. The car park is very small and don't know if Lidle next door would allow there car park to be used by pub customers. The good is as expected in all weatherspoon pubs and the drinks prices are the same. It has a good atmosphere as with most weatherspoons pubs I've been to . The pub is family friendly and accessible for disabled people.

Great team led by a friendly and accommodating manager helped our group manage a get together with a minimum of fuss. Nice quality Christmas Dinner and lots of other options.

Very busy when I was in. Wetherspoons prices vary, this one was slightly higher priced. Higher than Crossgates lower than Leeds Central. Car park limited numbers, can park at Supermarket next door 90 mins maximum or a ticket will follow.

Standard spoons food, not amazing but good value for money. The pub was lovely and warm thanks to the open fire. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Overall a pleasant experience 😃

Lovely place, nice food. Pity about parking

I must start by saying that the pub is large and clean, the tables and bathrooms are really clean. The cost of beer is the same as in other pubs, a large selection of flavors. I ordered food that arrived slightly cold, I ordered chicken in a salad with bacon for £11.. there was practically no salad, the chicken was wet as if it had just been taken out of water and the bacon was dried out and one strip. I was really disappointed, for this price you can order something hot from another place. It's a pity, because the pub really has a lot of potential, everything else is normal, but not the food.

Whether you want a quick bite or a family meal, the Hulats always delivers. Sometimes when you come in you have to clear your own tables of other people's left overs but usually very clean. Always have to order an extra bowl of chips though as the chips that come with meals are never enough. Food is always lovely and well presented though. Service is always top too, but the male manager behind the bar seems to not like people.

Love this place. We go here as it was my mums favourite place. She loved owls. We always have a great time here. The food is good and the staff are friendly. No problem with kids. Grandson has autism and staff understand about how he behaves. Plus, I like the hot chocolate refills. Accessible entrance, but someone would need to hold the doors open if you have a wheelchair as heavy doors.

We needed a fast meal before a concert and it came swiftly with a smile and a couple of pints of our choice. Food was tasty and cooked to perfection. A no nonsense place with great staff and a good, fun filled atmosphere

I had my doubts and yet the lord hulat absolutely smashed it out of the park. Well in. All hail the lord hulat.

Used to be an ok pub however customer service isn't key anymore. Dont bother complaining about anything as there is prepared response..."I'm sorry but that's just how it comes. We are happy to change it but you will have to pay again... wish this was a onetime response but sadly its the response you get if your food isn't correct or your drink is wrong. DONT use the app as you cannot customise it so staff do what they want and pass the error on to you at cost. We'll done Three Hulats...... NOT. Needless to say after many years of visiting this pub, I won't be back...need the original owners back as customer service doesn't exist anymore...
