Nice pub good choice of beers friendly atmosphere very nice cobs

OK, harsh with the food score, but that's only because they only offer cobs and pork pie, but these are excellent quality and worth the trip on their own Staff are always great and of course the choice of beers is excellent. Pricey by wednesbury standards but worth every penny. Well kept and welcoming and the garden is bang on.

My go to pub in the area. Absolute great staff and always friendly. Absolute cracking Guinness! Fresh cobs and pork pies available at all times, can't beat it.

Very busy today according to the Saturday regulars. Enjoyed cobs & cider & beer.

If you are not a local or in there every day of the week spending money, different rules apply to you. Sign on the bar (and dotted around) says no swearing at all in the pub, but theres this loud mouth called jack in there who's a regular and continuously swears at the top of his voice.....different rules for him obviously. Another sign says "no children after 7pm at all" but again there is a guy called norman in everyday who has his half cast grandkid in there, running around until 11pm....different rules for him too. The beer is not kept that well either, the mild is served freezing, you dont serve mild freezing, the real ale can taste suspect at times, but the best one is, the gaffer walks around, says hello to his favourites and blanks any none regulars or people he doesn't like. Everybody should be made to feel welcome, not just his chosen few. Everybody should be equal.

Nice little pub Spotlessly clean (including loos) and a fantastic array of real ales to choose from If you want a pub with blaring music, slot machines, pool tables and with kids running about then this one isn’t for you If you want somewhere safe, clean and a chat then pop in, it’s right up your street

We were there for a funeral wake.

Extremely friendly and welcoming place with a very relaxing and chilled out atmosphere. The perfect place for a quiet drink to catch up with friends.

Stuart and his wife worked really hard to make our day special. I cannot fault any aspect of this establishment. Food 10/10. Ales 10/10. Service 10/10. Will definitely use this place again. Thanks to everyone who helped that day. If you need everything to be perfect then this is the place.

I visited on a lunchtime to have a couple of pints and watch some Cricket on the telly. I can honestly say when it comes to real ales, this is the best pub I've found in West Bromwich. Great choice, all beer lovers should check this place out. There was a small but convenient car park too, for designated drivers of course.

Cracking pub with a good selection of real ales, it was a quiet lunchtime the day I was there but what staff and customers were there were really friendly, wish I lived a little closer it would definitely be my local

Beautiful place inside and out good car parking great staff behind the bar and fair prices it was brilliant to hold our meeting there will definitely do again

Waited nearly a hour for my food, it was suppose to take 15mins (20max) appreciable staff and they offered me a refund and said “it’s my call” to wait 10mins more or money back. Rubbish customer service skills!

Brilliant place we had never been in before but we went to a relatives funeral wake there,they were very attentive filling tea and coffee, using real plates for the lovely spread they put on and everywhere was clean no sticky tables, we will recommend to everyone to go there

Great little local pub. Went to watch the Six Nations but it was the Ireland match. Pub was packed for the football but they were very accommodating to get a TV on just for the two of us and we had a good seat for watching it. Great beer garden in the back with very friendly staff. Very much recommended!

This is a lovely welcoming place. Nice lot of people that come here.friendly ,smiling helpful staff, A unique set out pub.open plan in style,,but lovely decor ,and various secluded seating.The toilet facilities are spotless. Plenty of outside area to enjoy.with plenty of seating. The beers,are excellent,a wide range to choose from..A large board at side of bar gives all details of the beer,as well as availability and prices.Nice fresh snacks available.

A cracking little pub with excellent ales, cobs, sport on TV and friendly locals. I had the Salopian Hop Twister for £3.60, very, very good.

Great real ale pub. Also shows sky football matches. Nice garden which gets the sun all day. Friday night is usually a very busy day.

Great proper drinkers pub. Staff are brilliant, especially so over social distancing times. Loads of room outside when weather permits and a heated outdoor seating area for when it's a bit chilly. Place is very clean, toilets are fantastic, beer selection is excellent. But... why is everything so expensive? Standard Carling lager is at least 50p dearer than in most of the local pubs, Starpromen nearly £1. My friends and I drink here regularly but a night out here costs £25 - £30 more than at most West Brom pubs.

Great Black Country Pub. Good cobs and you can get a nice looking pork pie these days that I’ve yet to try.

Our visit to the three horseshoes was not a pleasent one this time due to the fact all we could smell was the odour from the toilets the doors were wedged open and then someone started to mop around the bar using a solution of bleach and water not a very nice visit at all will be a long time ?before we visit again

If its great real ales you want then this is the place to go. Good variety of well kept beers. This place does not do meals, do cobs and sandwiches instead.

A true gem of a pub. Just off Hill Top, an amazing selection of Ales and cobs. A proper pub. Lovely atmosphere and very welcoming staff.

Hic Hic Hooray!!! What a lovely pub! Only discovered it whilst passing by one day, and it has quickly become a firm favourite! Very clean, very friendly and an impressive range of ales available, including various guest ales. When not sampling a guest ale I usually opt for Fireside, a Black Country Ales staple that doesn’t disappoint. Live sport is shown, which is great, although happily it doesn’t dominate or spoil the traditional local feel of the pub. Keeping the volume at a modest level definitely helps achieve this. Stuart and Mandy are to be commended on running a proper pub perfectly! Keep up the great work. :-)
