Small pub. But the Guinness was perfect!

Fantastic find, didn't know it even existed. The staff are great and the atmosphere even better.

Being a firm real ale fan (without a beard or b.o. , amazingly ?) I must say the Royal Oak consistently serves some of the best real ale in the West Midlands, in my view. A small, busy, well kept, clean, comfortable pub, devoid of unnecessary frills, whistles and bells, just doing what a traditional pub should be doing which is a complete change from the norm in these modern times. Next to no food available (unless a crusty cob and packet of scratchings floats ya boat ! Yes please !) Great selection of proper beer with the usual assortment of dross for the "lager boys" of the Parish. Never had a dodgy or bad pint, need I say more ! Well done and keep up the good work. It just gets better, if it were possible

Lovely pub, picturesque outside and inside, you would think you're out somewhere nice in the countryside, not in West Brom! Very nice selection of beer and real ales, with great service. I've paid first-time visits to seven local pubs so far this fortnight while my wife has been abroad, and I have to say this one has probably been my favourite of the lot.

A proper community local, simply superb. Real ale, spot on, clean, bright and welcoming. It's a quaint little proper pub. The guy behind the bar was welcoming and warm, pleasant with a smile. Good selection of cask and kegs, casks are well kept and beautifully served. If your in the area its a MUST visit.

This is a real local pub with great real ales and a good atmosphere. Everyone is friendly and I would recomend this pub to anyone who enjoys a proper pub.

Good old style pub, just how a pub should be. Very clean throughout, with colourful hanging baskets and potted plants outside. Friendly atmosphere.

Classic British pub with all the usual fare. Friendly staff and good selection of real ales and keg beers. Nice bar food, rolls, pork pie and snacks. Highly recommended for a change to the modern soulless pubs of the area. Sports on the TVs for anybody interested, but not intrusive. Bar and lounge or snug and lounge. Small beer garden weather permitting.

A proper traditional pub with great gaffers. The quality of the beer is second to none. Always clean inside and not too busy, except for quiz night. The cobs are to die for and cost only £1.50

Cozy place to meet with friends, to watch the football games or something else. Very dedicated to West Bromwich football team. The staff is very friendly.

What a wonderful small pub with bar and lounge nestled in a no through road . Well frequented by a friendly clintele. Good choice of beers and ales.Sky and BT channels in both rooms. What else can you ask for. Try it.

This tiny pub is a 'proper local' complete with an old dog who sits under a table whilst you enjoy your drink. The staff are friendly and the drinks are cheap but it can be difficult to find a seat as the whole place is living-room sized so is full most nights. There is also an additional seating outside. The pub sits on an awkward corner so parking is limited but you'll get a friendly welcome so you'll probably be back again.

A beautifully looked after street corner pub. Off the beaten track, but well worth seeking out. The real ale is superb, especially the Wye Valley HPA the best I've ever tasted. Food is simple... ham or cheese cobs. A gem.
