Food made us very ill - not sure what we ate but it effected both my partner and I. Meat was mixed, some was nice and some was very tough, dry and bland, particularly considering the price. The 'premium' Rodizio in particular is definitely not worth the extra £10

We recently had the absolute pleasure of celebrating our wedding party at The Rose and Crown Pub and Hotel, and it was nothing short of extraordinary! From the very beginning, Nicky and her incredible team went above and beyond to ensure that our special day was perfect in every way possible. The thoughtfulness and care that Nicky put into making our celebration memorable was evident in every detail. She personally went out and bought the most beautiful flowers for the table arrangements, which added a lovely touch of elegance and freshness to the room. It felt as if she genuinely cared about making our day as unique and special as possible. A special shoutout to Sophie, who was instrumental in helping us decorate the room. Her eye for detail and creative flair transformed the space into a stunning venue that exceeded all of our expectations. What stood out the most was that there was absolutely nothing that Nicky and her team wouldn’t do to ensure our wedding party was incredible. They were attentive, supportive, and always willing to go the extra mile. Every request we had was met with a smile and a "can-do" attitude, making the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable for us and our guests. On top of the incredible service, we had a lovely stay at the hotel. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, providing the perfect retreat after a day of celebration. The food was absolutely delicious – breakfast was great with plenty of choice (and a visit from Freddie the resident pup) and the meal from the main menu was thoroughly enjoyed, adding to the memorable experience. Big thanks to Freya who looked after us at dinner, smiled throughout and kept up with every demand! Not a thing was missed, it really was exceptional. If you’re looking for a venue that combines exceptional service with a personal touch, I highly recommend The Rose and Crown Pub and Hotel. Nicky and her team made our wedding celebration unforgettable, and we’re forever grateful for their hard work and dedication. The service crew was horrible. I came at 10.50pm and ordered to eat in with my wife; the deserts didn't came in until I had to ask them 3 times. The ice cream finally came as take away instead of dine in. Horrible service

I will never forget my first time trying favourites one of the best experiences in my life . The chicken was absolutely tantalising paired with the best chips cooked to perfection with peri peri salt equally distributed all over the chips . The spicy zinger burger is an absolute delight to have it’s my go to food spot , staff are always polite and helpful ready to help with any inquiry.

First time I went there . I loved the service. Everyone was very nice and friendly. Due to my intolerances, the manager sat down with us and went through some things of the menu with us. They also suggested the beef croquetas that were really good( according to my partner since I cant eat it) They also have blue light card discount. Gluten free menu and vegan menu available
