This was a delight, but a little different than I expected. The staff was so gracious, even though I was in very casual vacation clothes because I was walking miles every day as part of my trip. The tea was exceptional and the servers were so kind and attentive. I had had tea several times on my trip to London before I got here, so I decided to go with somethig a little different, so I had the crab salad. It was artistically presented, in layers of crab and creme fraiche, and it was at least as delicious as it was beautiful. I would love to have it again. I am sure that their scones and tea sandwiches are great, but I am sure if this is on the menu the next time I visit, I will definitely have to order it again. I was too full for dessert, so I just took pictures of the exquisite offerings that were displayed in the cases at the entrance of the Tea Room. Luckily, they were also displayed again in the Food Court so I could continue to enjoy their culinary art again before I had to leave. Can't wait to go back!

This is my 3rd visit to the Tea Room at Harrods over a period of 20 years and to be honest better value can be found at a local high street cafe. The cakes were pretty good but the service was TERRIBLE I expected better from such a high brand name. Some of the staff were just wandering around doing nothing from what we could figure out. If you want the high tea experience, go elsewhere, if you are shopping and people watching at Harrods then certainly drop in. I have done tea at the Savoy and my MIL has done tea at the Ritz in the past 15 years and unless they have changed, spend your money at one of those places. oh and if memory serves correctly, they put an automatic service charge of 10% on the bill!!!

The Harrod's Wedgewood Afternoon Tea is a must-do for any visitor to London. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the Afternoon Tea with champagne. Yes it's expensive but well worth it. From the sandwiches to the perfect fluffy warm scones with clotted cream and jam plus a cake of your choice. We particularly enjoyed the English Rose tea which was both fragrant and very pretty. The service was efficient however the store policy that the tea can only ever come with one cup was odd (considering the cost) and disappointing. Other a fabulous experience.

We ordered the afternoon tea. It is difficult to find since it is buried in the menu, but it is worth it. For 32 pounds, you get your choice of tea, 6 sandwiches, 2 scones with clotted cream and an array of jams, and then a pastry/cake dessert of your choice. This was comparable to the stuffy teas that many of the local hotels offer and you don't have to get dressed up or wear a suit coat. They do have a champagne option if you are interested.

After literally hours of walking and shopping in Harrods, we had a very welcome break here. We were greeted by friendly staff who showed us to our table. The tea was lovely and soup was extremely tasty. We ended with a cake from the counter which again tasted amazing. It was a relaxing time and not rushed or noisy. Just what you need as a rest bite from the shopping frenzy that Harrods is.

After hearing mixed reviews about this place i decided to try this afternoon tea. They have Halal and Gluten free options. Overall ambiance and decor of the place is nice and floral. Staff was attentive and kindly offered free a hot chocolate to the child. However it took then 35 mins to bring the food on the table despite the whole place being quite empty. We had one Gluten free and one regular afternoon tea. Afternoon tea itself was very presentable offering variety of teas and we tried three different teas, the nicest one was Masala Chai. Sandwiches were ok in taste albeit rather bland. Scones were fresh, tasty and light. Unfortunately the desserts were very average in taste and were very basic. They do not do refills which is unusual for an afternoon tea. There is definitively room for improvement.

We stopped by here for beer after the Natural History Museum. What a gem of a find. We had a few pints, did a spot of shopping, and headed back for dinner. I'm so glad we did. The food was amazing. The service was great. Good beers, great food. Do yourself a favour if you are in the neighbourhood stop by you won't be disappointed.
